Has any team ever embarrassed themselves so thoroughly than France at World Cup 2010? The one where Anelka managed to get himself sent home for calling the coach a "son of a whore", the team publicly fell out with said coach, ended up with mutiny against him, and they finished bottom of their group with one point in a group with South Africa, Mexico and Uruguay for opposition, going home to face sanctions and inquisition from both the footballing bodies as well as the French government.
Don't get me wrong, England have tried our hardest over the years, but I don't even think we fucked it up as badly as they did then.

Who gives a shit about this shitty sport for faggots?

Based argie

only topping their own world cup 2002 performance lol

Karma for that handball goal that based Henry scored against us in the qualifiers.

Who gives a shit about you, a projecting loser AND faggot? Oh, no one? Heh, I guess you’re used to no one wanting you, fucking worthless retard

BASED

We could be second of that group if Gourcuff didn't get a wrong red card (wasn't even him) at the tenth minute against South Africa

>delusional

>decide to ban player
>let player stay in the team for 24 hours after you make this decision
>be surprised when team starts to sympathise with said player
>le strike
It was a farce

yes, it was even worse than our little embarrassement at Euro 96

The USSF should've been that embarrassed after failing to qualify
Instead our coach said it was fine and nothing needed to change and the suits will continue to encourage managers to select domestic players instead of our better talent abroad

We FUCKED up those frenchies

domenech said in a interview that anelka never said that but let the press lit a fire for an unknown reason

Mods should sticky his post but they won't

Argentina 2018 should have been just as bad

You left the best part out: Domenech made his tactics using astrology as a base.

pls no bully, it's like talking about embarassing things you did in high school

THIS. its why evra hates the press and hates dommenech for letting it happen.
Nasri however is still just a cunt

>Domenech made his tactics using astrology as a base.
I want to believe this.

i may be biased but 2010 is the worst i can think off
good thing we got rid of all these hoodrats
evra, anelka, ribery -> OUT
they even bullied the few white players of the team

2010 was a disaster but we kinda knew they were showing signs of chaos.

2002 was just a failure that I'm still rather confused about.

They won the 1998 world cup and followed it with Euro 2000 to prove it wasn't because of Ronaldo being injured and that they were good.

They came in ready to repeat as champions, they didn't have any major injuries I could recall and just sucked in the groups.

Not to mention, 2002 was one of the weakest world cups as well (Turkey and SK made the semis refball aside and USA made the quarters only being robbed because of a missed handball on the line).

without zidane our team was clueless that's why we lost 2002 and 2006 final

Brazil getting 7-1ed in their home

everybody hates Domenech

I can't think of any player in history who gave less of a shit about whatever team/country they played for than Nicholas Anelka.

What is the worst ? That or getting 7-1'd at home in a WC ?

Roy Keane throwing a tantrum at Mick McCarthy and abandoning Ireland was pretty embarrassing.

Ireland had a pretty decent team back then but Roy's ego cost them massively.

That wasn't Henry who scored, that was Gallas.

the team that won the 2018 world cup was pretty embarrassing; embarrassing to every white frenchman.

They actually did pretty decently in that World Cup though. Draws against Germany and Cameroon (the latter with Keane's replacement scoring the equaliser) and a win against Saudi Arabia in the groups, before taking Spain all the way to penalties in the Ro16. They actually really overachieved, and it was only really Roy that ended up missing out.

Yeah. I was full plastic paddy that tournament, just wonder if they could have gone further with a non-huffed Roy Keane.
