Would Man United realistically spend £400m next window? For reference, Liverpool spent £200m last window.

>keeping this thread alive

Who for, United? I know Wolves are trying to sign another Portuguese player. Would Everton realistically be able to win the league if they add Leao into the team? Why are Portubros so worried about their national team when they got all these great players in their later teens, early 20's? We all know France's U23 could probably win the Euros, I dunno why Portugal is so concerned.

Possibly, but that would mean they were ready to back a new manager with spending far beyond what they offered to Mourinho. Also they could always sell some players to defray the costs of adding.

Here's ManU transfer targets according to media:

Harry Maguire
Vinicius
Sancho
Hudson-Odoi
Rakitic
Alderweireld
Eriksen
Ndombele
Griezman
Bale
Perisic
Skriniar
Koulibaly
Coutinho
Joao Felix
Ruben Dias
Bruno Fernandes
Varane
Joachim Andersen
Icardi
Bissaka
Kroos
Umtiti

and Sneijder

And nobody did anything to try and stop it. Not even UK will avoid it if we leave, it'll be auto applied.

>No Gaitan

>Didn't people say Torreria wouldn't make it?
Who even knew who Torreira was before his move to arsenal?

Be funny to see though. I say that as an Arsenal fan. Diamond formation with Torreria as DM.

He was one of Uruguay's better players at the World Cup.

I get the feeling he’ll move to Italy. Probably AC Milan if they get back in the CL which looks likely.

literally who? I only remember the lesbian from that team.

The Sneijder one was a joke m8, he was constantly linked with a move to United through out his whole career every transfer window.

As a United fan I wouldn't really mind us selling him. He has been great since Mou left but he keeps talking about wanting to play for Real one day. Don't really want players with that sort of mentality at the club.

Why is this club with little history located in Manchester able to keep their best players?
They don't even pay ridiculous wages.
Surely De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva Aguero etc. could play for better teams.

Indeed but Top Scorer and a Semi-Final is pretty much as good as England will get.

Germany is essentially 'we will buy talent cheap and then sell if they do well, if they don't, then we're not in a problem'. Alphonso Davies got signed for Bunda. Sancho. Pulisic. Etc. Part of me thinks this is just the media trying to get English players to go abroad to get better. Or Chelsea want to make a quick £45m so they're '''''assisting'''' with stuff.

dunno lad it's just a (page 8) feeling

If money smell bad than this nigga Biggie stinking

I found it a bit... gay, that the pilot was never mentioned as being dead until like a week after the incident. The dude had a family too. Either way, that sucks.

>tfw /trans/ would often get into autosage
>tfw we now struggle to get to 300 posts in a week

>I found it a bit... gay, that the pilot was never mentioned as being dead until like a week after the incident. The dude had a family too. Either way, that sucks.
The whole tragedy reeks of cheapness from everyone involved, including Sala and Ibbotson.

It's a fucking joke they came over in some small aircraft. You get more money in a week than most people do in a year, get a fucking 1st class ticket. It's literally a 2hr flight, so you might as well.

Fooking hell lads, it's almost April.

>Liverpool have broken their own record of being on top of the league the longest without winning it.

>Coutinho is only 26

Hi lads, quick favour

I need you all to divert your power to no league to try and get Birmingham city relegated

Cheers

>all these Messi vs Ronaldo threads
>i've literally worked out how much each player takes to score a goal, provide an assist, contribute to a goal, how many games they've played, goals scored, assists made, trophies entered and their win % and so on and people STILL argue it
It's a fucking joke.

Harry Kane is better than the both of em anyway

Just ignore them, lad. They're immature children.

I will when Yea Forums(nel) is banned tomorrow by the porn block.

It's mostly on Sala, McKay and Ibbotson. Cardiff offered Sala a commercial flight and rejected it and said he would find his own way back, McKay was a cheap prick who was making a ton of money on the deal but still stuck Sala on a shitbox plane and Ibbotson was underqualified to fly it. And everyone involved should have looked at the weather and let Cardiff know he was going to have to fly the following day. The bad part from Cardiff is that Warnock had flown on pretty much the exact same flight during transfer negotiations so it isn't like the club didn't know the kind of flight he might organise. Sala trusted McKay and Ibbotson so it's not his fault and the fact McKay has lot his shit and started threatening journalists and club staff makes him look really bad.

t. Cardiff fan

>I mean come on you know

Thoughts on this exciting 24 year old prospect?

welcome to bayern munich

I think if he span around really fast in that shirt he'd look like a roulette wheel

How many will city put past Fulham today lads? I think we may see double figures.

Fulham gonna shock City and Liverpool go on to win the double. Based Mo will make it so. Inshallah.

Allah has forsaken Mo m8

Welcome to Newcastle

Greater Jihad is all about becoming a better Muslim. Mo has to realise that even if he thinks he has been forsaken, he cannot lose his faith. The adversity will spark him on. It is foretold.

>Wu Lei is being touted as a huge player in La Liga
I wonder who the next superstar for China will be and it's pretty much certain United will buy them.

>started looking up good Chinese players
>Nico Yennaris is literally able to play for China, he's 25, but he played for England youth; he is also able to play for Cyprus. His parents were Cypriots (could have been British Cypriots) and Chinese. He plays for nobody when he could do pretty well for China or Cyprus.
>Hou Yongyong (also known as John Hou Sæter) was born in Norway to a Norwegian father and Chinese mother. He plays in China currently. I checked Football Manager 2019 and he is literally the most talented youth player eligible for China.
I think Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Hong Kong and Macau can play for China due to their meme league rules. But who knows. Nearly every single top quality player for China isn't actually fully Chinese. Wu Lei is their best player. Zhou Junchen, Junwei Yu, David Wang (born in Spain but eligible for China) Nebijan, Jiang Shenglong, Dongda He, Tao Qianglong and Erpan are all the possible better players. David Wang joined Wolves in January. So did Dongda He (who can also play for England). They're both 17. Is this the start of Wolves foray into non Portuguese players?

Also my local club, as I have said, has a Hong Kong player. Tsun Dai. Literally the best player according to FM. He's been crap. He's only 18 though. He can also play for England. So many players who have Hong Kong nationality have second ones, like Nigerian or Brazilian or English. I know Hong Kongers are fleeing to UK due to China (which is retarded as we're just as bad) and they hate the Chinese.

unironically consider suicide

What the fuck?

wow, you're actually autistic.

Only on Yea Forums could you talk about players and people get triggered lmao. But it's nice seeing the autistic French guy again.

>Nico Yennaris
Ah yes, another one of the famed Arsenal academy who ended up doing fuck all.

>Wu Lei
what did espanyols chines owner mean by this?

To be fair, he had some major injuries I believe.

>foreigners arguing over which other foreigners are better
England is lost

It's an MBE you bitter little cretin not a fucking coronation

safe lads

Safe as fook, ya cunt.

>mfw started telling friends about 190cm and him touching up his niece the big nonce and all the edits we made in 2017(?).

How would you improve the PL, boys?

Here's what I would do:
1. Have UEFA get rid of their FFP and homegrown rules. That sort of decision making can go back to the individual FAs.
2. Get rid of FFP in this country. Investment in the league is a good thing.
3. If a new quota is instituted, it should be about English/non-English. It hasn't made sense to favour EU players over non-EU players.
4. Create a British Premier League to supersede the English Premier League. This allows Celtic and Rangers in the league.
5. Expand the league to 24 teams. The format doesn't have to be every team plays each other twice, so it doesn't have to mean more games. You could even have a split like e.g. the Belgian league. More teams in the PL means more stable teams and an expanded middle class of clubs. Perhaps even some clubs will be able to break into the elite class.
6. Get rid of the blackout.
7. All games allowed to be sold to one provider.
8. Implement a model where all games are available to see live.
9. Get rid of the boomer MotD and make highlights available for free soon after games end.
10. No copyright on the highlights after a certain period. This encourages freelance video-makers to make videos of players from the league etc and so helps grow interest.

Pretty obvious stuff, I'd say, but there it is.

>1.
Okay I guess.

>2.
FFP is just lipservice to a problem that is bypassed by creative clubs (see City with their 'training facility payments' from ''''other clubs'''' which are owned by the same people or Chelsea with their Loan Army) so getting rid of it won't change shit bar letting clubs like QPR try that shit again. The money is only good for the government making a killing off the taxes which they can spend on hiring more 'hate crime' officers and letting South Asians rape kids more.

>3
I agree with that. It should just be 'you are limited to X amount of foreign players, with foreign players being anybody outside of the British Isles'. This allows Southern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands to be involved.

>4
It's a clusterfuck as it is mate, imagine Southampton having to go up to Scotland or vice a versa. If the UK actually invested into maglev train lines that connected every major city like they used to (not maglev obviously) then good.

>5.
Not sure that'll work and it'll end up making shit even more disproportionately unbalanced.

>6.
Dunno what that is in relation too.

>7.
Good idea but it's also shit because said provider than triples their cost.

>8.
Would require so much money and work between people it won't happen.

>9.
People like discussion. Discussion won't end. We had NFL Highlights added as a program, so I don't see that happening.

>10.
It essentially happens anyway. Individual clubs put up their highlight videos after games, usually a week or so after.

FFP is an anti competitive rule created by old money clubs to stem the rise of new money clubs challenging the traditional elite clubs that used to walk the league and buy out everyone else's best players because only they had money

Now there's talk of European super league because they can't enforce FFP

FFP is enforced it's just the super rich clubs like City and Chelsea exploit the system to get around it technically. Both of them have been hit with transfer bans (former should be announced in April, the latter got one but they're probably going to successfully appeal iirc) but not to do with FFP but because they're scummy fucks who chat up 14 year olds and sign them on massive (illegal) contracts. Now clubs are BEGGING for UEFA and the FA to allow them to sign youngsters on mega long contracts to 'prevent them being poached'. No, they're doing it to prevent them leaving to a club that'll actually play them. See Chelsea's Loan Army. CHO is literally playing as an England starter before he played as a Chelsea starter (and he got an assist/poached goal against Montenegro)

*dabs respectfull*

Will Manchester City's big signing in the summer be some supporters?

Attached: IMG-20190330-WA0002.jpg (750x649, 75K)

>FFP is just lipservice
No problem with getting rid of it then.

>clusterfuck
It can't be that bad.

>disproportionately unbalanced
How?

>in relation too
3pm games not being able to be shown live.

>said provider than triples their cost
No, the cost to the consumer went up when BT came in.

>Would require so much money and work between people it won't happen
It wouldn't be difficult at all. They do this in the US with the NFL.

*tips respectfully*

1. Yeah I have no issue.
2. It's a clusterfuck because it's a 14hr round trip from St Mary's to Celtic Park on a bus. Taking an aircraft would be fucking awful.
3. Because of the need to make meme splits and will leave it being essentially like the European Super Elite Club league bollocks.
4. What was the reason for that?
5. I think the only solution would be a sort of 'streaming' service where you just choose the match you want. Perhaps could do a pay per view thing or a subscription for unlimited or buy per club (pretty sure clubs already do this).

lads ive just fucking nailed two steak pasties and now I'm going to fuck this entire tub of mint choc chip ice cream up and maybe even have a creme egg pot of joy with it absolutely fucking belting

Just do like the NFL where you pay for access to every game, club specific deals will just lead to even more disparity between the top and bottom clubs

I'm sure most people would happily pay 200 quid a season for it

>it hasn't made sense to favour EU over non EU

You do realise it's the law? EU players are entitled to work in any EU country it's not a rule that was made for competitive reasons or anything

Man City isn't a real team. It's plastic. Pic related is when it was real.

Have a good one, fatty boom boom. I'm trying to enjoy last few days on Yea Forums(nel) and porn before it's banned. Muslims have won. Good for them.

Most clubs offer a membership to watch the games on their website. So, due to apps and smart TV's, it's all doable.

To be fair, UK's got some daft laws on immigration. I could go into it but it's fucking gash. For example, you can't get into this country (easily) unless you're a refugee (which is easy to fake) or if you've got something worthwhile to offer. For sport, this means you have to literally be the next Messi and be banging in goals regularly. You have to have played a significant % of international games and all that jazz too, otherwise jog on. If you have an EU passport (due to working in the EU as a player) or because you were born there; easy peasy. However, the EU has nations with much lower standards for sporting players, you don't need the 'played x% of international games in last 4 years', you can do anything. They then join those leagues, hang around for 4-5 years, get their EU passport and then can move wherever. This damages the UK leagues because lets say you wanted, I dunno, Takefusa Kubo, the Japanese Messi, you couldn't get him easily into UK. But he could join Spain (and he did before UEFA forced him to leave) or Germany or Portugal or whatever, hang around for 4-5 years or whatever, then come to UK. This obviously is an advantage. Now, where the shitty side of UK immigration law is, if you join the country, if you work for 6 months you can then invite your ENTIRE family to come into the country on a Family Visa. In short, Mr Khan who is a Dr comes over. 6 months later, his wife, their 6 children, parents, wife's parents and his grandparents can all come. Which means NHS, schools and other services as needed to cover them and they don't all become doctors.

So, sorry for /pol/ diversion but this has meant that players from Brazilian league and shit end up in Spain.

One of these men has a royal honour, and the other one is Jimmy Greaves.

It's the law to let in EU players but it's not the law to deny certain non-EU players work permits.

2. Okay.
3. It would be a bit but that might make it even more exciting. That's how it is in Belgium. I think what's important is that the financial difference between the clubs is kept to a minimum.
4. The standard line is that the competition meant Sky and BT had to bid more but, actually, Sky was bidding more on its own anyway. I think that having only one provider won't make them put prices up for consumers because there isn't competition between BT and Sky right now. They sell different games and viewing one doesn't mean you don't want to view the other.
5. Yes, over the internet seems to be the way to go. I think how the NFL does it is that you can get a pass for all the games period in a season or you can get a pass for all the games of a certain club in a season.

what happened to that turkish guy city signed a couple of years ago
>inb4 gundogan already player earlier

don't even know who you're talking about lmao

enes unal
got sold to villareal, loaned out and current top scorer at valladolid with 3(three) goals

>15 points between top 2 and next four
>13 points between top 6 and rest of league
>not a single team outside the top 6 with a positive goal difference

How do we fix this shit?
