I'd be interested to see the clauses in a contract that state the minimum requirements for a player to earn his money. I assume you have to bat when you're up and play your position in the field, but do you have to swing or chase down fly balls?

Their team of financiers and their club's team of financiers negotiate terms they both find agreeable according to their evaluations.
