If you take a QB or a WR in the first 10 picks this year you have wasted it.

all the trips in these threads are literally turning 4channel into reddit.

There’s only two, they just post a lot

Cobb (age 28) will finish his tenure in Green Bay as the sixth-leading receiver in franchise history

Attached: Cobb 6th rec.jpg (657x270, 92K)

When you really have a hard think about it, Antonio Brown is just like a suicide bomber

And they'll still go 7-9

Updated look at the Cowboys offense:
- QB: Dak Prescott
- HB: Ezekiel Elliott
- WR: Amari Cooper
- WR: Randall Cobb
- WR: Michael Gallup
- WR: Tavon Austin
- WR: Allen Hurns
- TE: Jason Witten

Attached: dallas prescott.jpg (225x225, 8K)

The Randall Cobb move is the Cowboys low key upgrading from Cole Beasley and lowering how much they needed to draft a slot receiver. Home run move all around. A job well done

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers in 2019.

They'll do so with Randall Cobb playing for the good guys.

When he was good, he was really good
unfortunately he was injured for most of his career

I see Randall Cobb wants to make an upgrade from Aaron Rodgers

the billz actually spent wisely in FA and filled most of their roster holes and completely revamped a septic offensive line. Division winners if they play smart football and Allen limits turn overs while staying aggressive

Pick it one bro. They wasted this year for long term growth to aimlessly grab at talent and clinging to a a hope at recapturing the 2017 playoff glory days - where they only scored 6 points.

They had a perfect opportunity and have been blowing it.

That's crazy. This time last year, none of those 5 WRs were on the Cowboys. Heading into the last season, all they had for Dak was:

Outside WRs:
age 29 Terrance Williams
>age 29 Deonte Thompson - Mar 22, 2018: Cowboyssigned to a 1-year, $2.5 million contract
>age 27 Allen Hurns - Mar 23, 2018: Cowboys signed to a 2-year, $12 million contract
>rookie Michael Gallup - Apr 2018: drafed Round: 3 / Pick: 81
>rookie Cedrick Wilson - Apr 2018: drafted Round: 6 / Pick: 208

Slot
>age 28 Tavon Austin - Apr 28, 2018: Cowboys acquired from Rams in exchange for 6thR pick
age 29 Cole Beasley

TE
age 25 Geoff Swaim - only one of the group had caught a pass in a regular season game
>rookie Dalton Schultz - Round: 4 / Pick: 137
age 24 Blake Jarwin
age 24 Rico Gathers

If the Cowboys were to sign a veteran slot, Randall Cobb or otherwise, it all of a sudden becomes pretty hard to find the “drastic” draft need — aside from the very obvious duo of DE & S.

(Cowboy fans are hoping they get Eric Berry at S and Robert Quinn at DE)

First look at Randall Cobb and his upgraded QB

Attached: D2Dhx4-XcAMr_g4.jpg (880x495, 74K)

One thing about all those elite Patriot white WRs (Wes Walker, Julian Edelman, etc) is that they all have elite 3-cone times

>Hunter Renfrow (5-10 1/2, 180) stood on all of his combine numbers. There's a place in this league for sure-handed clutch players, even if they're undersized. Only 2 other receivers had a faster 3-cone at the combine (6.80).

I was at that game in OP's pic it was frustrating as fuck
We held the Pats to 12-6 in the fourth, then one of their no-name RBs got a TD and Derek "fag" Anderson threw a pick six and Gostkowski missed the XP. 25-6. And I can't even say it was the worst offensive performance that year, because it wasn't. The week before we lost to the Clots 5-37, and the week after we lost to the Burrs 9-41. No touchdowns for 3 weeks. Of course, the week before the Colts game was the Toxins game, where A;;en tore his UCL and Peterman threw the same INT twice in a row to seal the game.

Just win the owl already you old fuck

The bears lost and will continue to lose for decades to come, so why don't you fuck your cunt bitch

still, /Bills Owl 2020/

This will be a very important year for Dak. No more Linehan, strong receiving corps. No excuses unless Moore is even more inept than linehan which is damn near impossible. If they could put a couple patches on the defensive end and safety issues I'd be genuinely excited for the upcoming year. Wish they'd just lock down D Law now and figure out how they are keeping the rest

Eric berry is fucked. And Robert Quinn is only worth it at like a 6th round pick tbqh.

And with the first pick of the 2020 NFL draft the minnesota vikings select...

They will have another 10 win season

FUCK VONTAZE, FLAG EVERY FUCKIN PLAY

They will lock down D-Law and hopefully Eric Berry will give a bargain deal to prove himself on this elite Defense. Without a desperate need to draft a S or WR, DEs and Oline will be the best options for most of our draft looks

no matter what anyone thinks of burfict you cant deny that
1) knows guenthers system
2) we have young lbs who need the guidance
3) 1 year doesnt matter that much
4) not a guarantee hell make the team
lets see how it plays about before getting our panties in a bunch about it

We wont know until tomorrow. Took a healthy Cobb 2 days to work a signed deal out. But what I've heard is that hes played 2 regular season games in as many years. They were saying he was going to require surgery on it and I havent heard of him having surgery yet. Long story short unless it's an absolutely incredible deal, they are better off leaving him alone

guidance as in learning guenthers system not how to put the money in a strippers g string kinda guidance

Tampa baby buccaneers

Why did the Eagles get rid of Foles when he was better than Wentz? What's the logic there?

Burfict has 0 off the field history.

>Rams getting all these stars
>NFL is still competitive
Why can't the NBA do this?

Bears for sure.
Those cunts

What was the outcome of that knockout for the Steelers player?

Because It costs too much to have two starting QB’s on your roster.

Some anons legit think anything outside of the top ten is useless.
You know the ones who use EDGE and think RBs are a diamond dozen.

My only concern is that Bears posters already make themselves look retarded.

Put the Steelers in field goal range to win. That play was 4th down and Brown wouldn't have even caught the ball. All Burfict had to do was not be a nigger and the Bungles would've won a playoff game.

Attached: 1452402169143.png (811x492, 809K)

Burfict was heading right for Brown's ribs. Clean hit. AB put his shoulder down in instinct

Yeah I know that part. Did brown get concussed tho

Rams aren’t even going to win the division this year.

yea, he didnt play the next game

And the Steelers lost the next game right? so in a way he had the most game changing play, just in the wrong game

cope harder chimp

steelers would've lost either way. They're never going to get past new england

enjoy your 8-8 season

You’re literally retarded. Get out of my thread.

If you were coming out of college right now as a top 10 pick.
>What team would you most like to pick you?
>What team would you hope to avoid at all costs?
>what position would you play?

not wrong though. The intention was clean. Brown lowered himself

Raiders, 49ers
Denver, Rams, Jets, Dolphins
CB,S,WR, RS

If I was a running back, I'd want to go to the Eagles

Hard mode, dont automatically pick your favorite team, and don't pretend the Patriots would trade up for you

Pats, Cowboys, Steelers, Rams, 49ers, Cardinals
Kicker, less CTE that way
No way in hell a kicker would go in the top 10, however.

hitting person is easier than hitting ball, and violence is more-or-less the only thing blacks excel at.

didn't the raiders draft a kicker in the first round

Janikowski in like 2000

Janikowski, but he went 17th.

why

Why did they do that? They are the fuckin raiders man

that is just a special stupid that everyone, no matter who it is, should not be.

A kicker is worth, at best, a 7th round pick. Their bust rate is high and are easily replaceable.

I can't remember what year it was but when Al Davis was still alive he picked a receiver 7th overall just because he ran a 4.27 at the combine

Still smarter than picking a kicker 17th overall tbdesu

Love of the game and love the culture of being in the locker room and not having to attend classes

Someone needs to post that image of Raiders picks and the elite players that got picked right after.

Joe Montana is 62 and he’s doing fine. On top of that he was a QB, one of the most dangerous positions. So if you were a position like a lineman who never gets tackled, it would be a pretty sweet deal.

Pats will be picking in the top 5 this year. Their run is over.

People have said this for the past 10 years

Lineman take so many more hits than a QB are you retarded? Just because theyre not being "tackled" doesntean they're not ramming their fucking head into another 300 lb lineman every play.

Arians is going to rebuild and turn that team in to a monster. Then get fired or quit.

Nah Pats will get Trevor Laurence next year, who is far better than Tua

I almost want to see a non-qb needy team trade down from the number 1 spot in that draft. Just to see how fucking disgusting teams will over pay for him.

Bros, I'm taking an independent study for an upper level econ course this summer, and my advisor approved me using the course to research play call success rates for each team on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd downs. Besides Football Reference, are there any good sources to start my research?

Ben rapeburger or Peyton against the Hawks

Even with the Bear’s schedule I really don’t see more than 5 losses. Another 12-4 season is pretty likely, with a better record very possible. You can’t say that bad years will follow good years just because. You believe it because it’s conventional wisdom but there’s very little substance behind it, and a lot of reason to doubt it

Peyton at least scored a TD.

No, I believe it because the DC has just left and trubisky sucks. I believe the offense was incredibly over performing last year. You can't say you are going to win just because. Like I said, last year was the ceiling, and the nfcn will be a disgusting bloodbath in an embarrassing way this year. I could actually picture an 8-8 or a 9-7 winner

WOOOOOOOOO BURRFFICCT. I CANT WAIT TIL HE STARTS CONCUSSING THE CHIEFS AND INJURING PHILIP RIVERS.

The DC left to be replaced by a comperable DC who will continue the same (unexposed) system with almost identical players and greater depth. It’s a wash. And even if Trubisky doesn’t improve that doesn’t mean a 4-game regress. If anything he’ll continue to grow in consistency and knowledge to become a mid 10s-low 20s game manager over time, which is wholly sufficient for the offense that Nagy runs. Trubisky throws darts, if he can continue to improve in his reads he’ll get good.

Scared of another tie?

Attached: C1C86D06F2EE471C9C3C4A04AEFF74D1.jpg (1440x811, 153K)

Why don’t all the teams in a division play the same opponents? It doesn’t seem fair to me that you compete for a playoff spot in your division if you’re going to be competing on uneven ground. I get that schedules are determined by past success, but that would only be justified if all 6 Conference playoff spots were determined via the WC system. Because most of the spots are awarded to divisional winners, divisional teams should have identical schedules.

>packers fucking dying
desperate take

Desperate to what end? Besmirch a 6-win team?

their defense will inevitably regress and the offense coasted on great performances. I cant picture it improving. The division is theirs to lose, but no way they replicate 12-4

they ditched a bad head coach and improved their roster. I'd love to see how theyre dying from doing so

>the bears will regress
>that’s just basic talk, there’s no substance. Their situation is a wash at worst
>no way, their defense will regress
K
Yeah they got a coach that will give their diva QB more of what he wants and did a good job of patching up the loss of old talent they’re experiencing now. That’s on par with their prior status, which was a slow death. The Packers will continue attempting to run this system for maybe three more seasons before throwing in the towel and entering rebuild mode.

Different posters bud

if you think their defense replicates with no added talent and a new DC that hasnt coached a good defense in half a decade, I don't know what to tell you. Just try to list any defense in the last 15 years that have had sustained dominance the way the bears had last year
even look at the drastic change the vikings had when they couldnt keep their whole defense healthy and coast an easy schedule. Or the seahawks, or the panthers, or the broncos, or the cardinals, or the falcons, or the jags, or the texans, or almost any decent defense in recent history

Ive got no clue what youre trying to say about the packers. They signed decent free agents that filled positions of need and let nobody of significance go. I dont get it

For me, it'll be the locker room cancer between AB and VB being on the same team

Attached: 1491710928964.jpg (800x635, 331K)

If 6 wins is dabbing on the draft, yes.

VB isnt a cancer just a penalty machine and maybe a bit dirty because of the NFL rules. The guy is actually soft spoken and a family guy which is actually pretty shocking.

Different posters but the point is unchanged. Don’t post unless you’ve read the thread.
You’re now making a separate point than you were earlier. Again, concerns over the DC are irrelevant because he’ll be running the same system with the same players and added depth. Saying that in past defenses haven’t maintained total dominance season-to-season isn’t an argument because teams in past also have; there’s nothing intrinsic about top teams regressing, they only do that because top teams have top experienced talent that either get headhunted or old. The only real worry of that sort for the bears is, of course, their DC, which has been established as an irrelevant point. The actual substance of the concern is injuries, but to make any predictions based off of an inherently unpredictable event, especially with a fairly young and historically healthy team like the Bears have put together. There’s just not a tenable argument here.

like the bears have put together, is unfalsifiable at best.*

You essentially said nothing of substance in that entire wall of text. The fact of the matter is the bears lost their DC and added nothing I'm the offseason. Those are the facts, you've only brought forward your opinion and conjecture. All in all, I look forward to the bears getting third place in the division. One good season and you retards won't shut the fuck up

I'm referring to the vitriol that will come from Antonio

>concerns over the DC are irrelevant because he’ll be running the same system with the same players
he literally wont. Even if he had the same playbook (he won't) a lot of success comes from coaching and gameplanning. He is a different guy who failed to put together good defenses for several years and has his own tendencies. Some schematic changes every season is almost necessary to prevent stagnation, but there isnt a guarantee the changes are improvements
>Saying that in past defenses haven’t maintained total dominance season-to-season isn’t an argument because teams in past also have; there’s nothing intrinsic about top teams regressing, they only do that because top teams have top experienced talent that either get headhunted or old.
every single year fans of the playoff teams cannot fathom that their team could regress, and sure enough more than a handful of teams do. They also grossly understimate how volatile the league is, and how important injuries, schedule, execution, morale, and random variance contribute to success. Some teams do stick around, but those are teams that tend to have good QBs and playmakers on offense to keep the team balance. The bears dont. Trubisky shrunk in big games and they dont have an impact skill player.
>The actual substance of the concern is injuries, but to make any predictions based off of an inherently unpredictable event, especially with a fairly young and historically healthy team like the Bears have put together
absolutely not. It is much much much less likely they sustain the health of their defenders throught a season. You cant even compare the injuries the rest of the division faced to what the bears didnt. If you want me to run over some sample probability, I will

the best way to get to the top is to add new talent to the roster, sell the underdog narrative to the team, and coast by teams not doing as exhaustive of gameplanning against you. The bears wont have that luxury anymore

I feel like I was just copypasting the exact same posts I made to vikings fans last offseason
if youre not getting better, youre getting worse. it only has gotten more true as teams homogenize their schemes, hire personnel from different franchises, and pay up to the cap in free agents every season

And he was as elite as he was fat and drunk

oh look a zoomer in the wild

Ruining their tank is dabbing on their draft, yes

And you said absolutely nothing in your reply. There’s no argument here other than “no u”. Good on you for making a future prediction you will never have to own though.
Your first paragraph is based on general understanding not applicable to the argument. Pagano functions well in the capacity he’s been put in here with a pass-emphasis defense (see his past performance with drastically improving the ravens’ pass d and the raider’s secondary). He’s been given a system to follow and put under a good HC, which is exactly when he is good. He has an established system and a smart hierarchy to function under; your points just don’t add up here.
Your second paragraph again is too general to be applicable. “Fans always say their teams couldn’t regress” is a lot different than what I’m saying, which is that the causes of regression in top teams are simply not here for the Bears.
Injuries in the sense that the Bears experienced very few and will likely have more next season are a valid concern, but to say that there will be a serious regress because of them is unknowable. That’s my point. Injuries aren’t a zero sum thing, and fewer injuries in season A implies fewer injuries in season B because of the nature of injuries in pro sports. The Bears may very well hve more injuries this season, but in all likelihood they will still have fewer than average, and predicting significant regress because of them in the speculative way you have is flawed.

>actually thinking Clay Matthews is worth anything

You are really dumb if you think this is cuz of Harper. Angels were trying to extend him for a while.

Yet Harper clearly is to blame for tampering the system by trying to recruit Trout is why the Angels resigned him before Harper would do any more damage. There is absolutely zero refutation to his points.

Paganos record as a DC is taking a defense that was already top 10, and make it a top 5 for one year before he jumped to Indi as a head coach and flopped hard. Meanwhile in that same time frame Fangio helped take a 6-10 team, 13th ranked defense, in to a 10-6 team with a top 3 defense and held that spot. His time in Chicago took a 30th ranked defense to a 14th ranked to a top 10, to a top 3 defense. Fangio is not only proven but he is also consistent. The defense is going to regress, period.

The only question remaining is how far it will regress.

Stephen A Smith will gloat about having been proven right without recognizing the irony

What's the irony?

Will the fudge packers even make it to .400 this season?

This is the second time he extended with the Angels. This isn't because of Harper, it's because he just likes it there.

even still, you completely disregarded when I said a lot of good defense is gameplanning, coaching, and calling the right plays for the situations. You cant just emulate fangio, pagano needs to be his own man and his record in indy was not good.

i'm like 60-70% sure Darby is going to get traded this year, and the Temple guy profiles as a really good man corner. safety i fucked up a little, there were some guys i would have preferred at the end of round 4 and I might have reached on Anderson a bit. i think with the addition of Sendejo they won't take one as early, but still expect to see one before the end of round 4.

I can't say I'm excited about Sendejo, but I guess we'll see.
And yeah, Darby is gone soon. I'd like them to stick with Douglas/Maddox/Jones/Mills in some combination though. I think that second round pick can be better used elsewhere.
I like the Bush pick though. He seems like a good fit.

No more Mills please

How does the cap math work for a contract with incentives?

Bush is definitely my current first round draftfu, though it's decently likely that he'll be gone by 25. Definitely a player I'd want them to trade up and get if he lasts to pick 18 or so, he could really solidify the middle of the defense and replace Hicks.

As for corner, we have a lot of young guys right now, but aside from Rasul I'm not sure any of them project as that outside shutdown corner that Schwartz wants (though he loves Mills for some reason unknown to me). Considering how volatile CB is in general, I think the Eagles won't stop taking shots at it if the talent is there at one of their picks. If the OL class was a little deeper I'd like one there, but it's pretty shallow.

Andrew Luck - definitely hasn’t lived up to the hype around him at the draft but he’s still been an extremely solid franchise QB, top 10 in the league
Kirk Cousins - relatively unremarkable but still, the 4th best QB from this class is equal to or better than the best from most other years

The only other QB classes this decade that can even be considered are 2016 (Dak, Wentz, Goff) and 2017 (Mahomes, Watson, Trubisky)

>Dak, Wentz, Goff
>implying any of those qbs are good

Wentz is. anyone would regress coming off a torn acl in a year when all of their offensive coaches fucked off

Colts
Tennessee is my favorite state, although Nashville I care less about. I want to retire to somewhere east of Knoxville.
The Texans are the only NFL team that has never made it past the divisional round in the playoffs, and that will never change and it will continue to be funny.
Colts vs Bears so northern Indiana “””””people”””””” will be assblasted just like they were for SBXLI. Filthy chimpcongo wannabes up there.

Compared to the garbage other years have had, yes.
>2010: Bradford, Tebow, Jimmy Claussen lmao
>2011: Cam and nobody else
>2013: EJ Manuel and Geno Smith
>2014: Derek Carr, Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel
>2015: Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston

Last years might be a historic one.
Baker looks solid (50/50), Allen won't be a stat machine but can play (1/3), Rosen... it's just his team around him he might be done already (1/5). lamar jackson probably won't survive 3 years like this but maybe they'll teach him to pass (1/4).

Darnold (1/3) also looks decent enough

>goff isn't good
LOL fuck off discord tranny SHILL

Goff is an exposed system baby

Better than Murray, let Carr continue to be mediocre for a few years until we can get a real qb.

the pats will be the only team in the division with a double digit win total

Rosen is going to be traded. It's an open secret.
Devin white is too high up, Some of those OL will way higher

Patriots... Bro they have a shit tone of picks

The old abstract looking Burr is even preferable. The shadows just look all wierd all over this guy.

Wont stop him from getting suspended m8

i like it. id like to think if fant is availible that low the packers trade up, but the mock looks good

That niggas clearly got no dick if he can leg lift like that

You are a literal retard, get out of my thread

>Riley Ridley

Pretty sure a Georgia blocking WR who bombed the combine and has no athletic traits who is projected into the 4th round won't go in the 1st.

Wtf where did my post go

That looks so good to be actually possible

haha. you all are weak. I'm the strongest guy in the thread.

My dolpins and I are going to wreck the nfl. Game over

Kek, i remember that non-call. Do the refs hate new orleans?

The NFL has hated the Saints ever since Bountygate. The crime of injuring offensive moneymakers will never be forgiven.

You made the right call

he is playing fewer games each year

I respect the franchise, not the current team

I'm pretty sure I sat next to this girl at the miami game in december. She was popping off.

Would Obi Wan Kenobi be an elite QB?

PFF just released their 2019 draft guide for their subscribers, which is like 700 pages worth of stats for draft declared college players
There's also their QB annual, which is like 350 pages of statistics for 2018 quarterbacks

Holy hell, some autist is gonna have a field day with this

How is he going to have a winning season with Foles on the Jasg?

If only kiwi was around, he would analyze every single qb on that list then explain why they're better than brady.

Except he's in trouble for shooting up that mosque because of

Lelway is taking Lock.

Lel

Why do the redskins keep cucking themselves by having constant mediocre seasons instead of just going full tank mode and attempt to build a powerhouse

Bruce Allen is incompetent and (((Dan Snyder))) doesn't give a shit as long as the money keeps flowing

The redskins franchise is actually a giant money laundering scheme. Success would ruin the racket.

I guess the same goes for bengals now that I think of it.

In the end, these mediocre trash teams are bigger losers than the actual trash fires like former browns and cardinals, because at the least they get some good draft picks, that adds potential for the future

In a way did the madden curse strike again? AB was on the front and his whole life became a shit show and how he plays for the raiders

I’m the Browns kid you stupid faggot, not to mention I love the Patriots. I just hate you because you’re an insufferable libcuck

Jon Grudens Raiders are more palatable than current Steelers

OBSESSED

Attached: 001.jpg (1280x720, 67K)

Not really. The steelers are bad but the raiders are the single worst organization right now.

Being on the cover of Madden correlates with being a cocky shit. The players do it to themselves. Look at Brady, he's fine

with cam now being vegan how much onions do you think he consumes?

Attached: DurMrsSXcAIrkVO.jpg (900x1200, 138K)

I doubt he’s vegan. Nogs cannot avoid fried chicken. It’s like a sirens call to them.

Who knows...

He literally won't be able to throw the ball 5 yards.

from a certain point of view

Or him and I are pretty active in the general and since you’re an annoying attention seeking faggot people cannot help but reply to you?

My stepson is mad at me guys, I wouldn’t let him play the new Mario game because it normalizes the stereotype of a cisgendered white male recognizing a cisgendered white female. How can I get him to understand how important it is for him to play games with diverse heroes?

Should have bought him a playstation

You should praise him for playing it instead. It might prevent him from voting liberal and creating two different tripcodes on the sports section of anime imageboard to talk to himself and reinforce his retarded points. Now that, that’d be PROBLEMATIC

People can help it. Most of us do. Just ignore the faggotry and he goes away or gets banned

BASED AND REDPAILED

Which attention thirsty owner will sign the blind long snapper to an honorary contract? Falcons maybe?

I'm back and I made one. Bush wasn't available, but they'll happily take Bradbury if he's there. Giles-Harris is a bit of a reach, but I could see them trading back into the 3rd and taking him there.

His wife should give him discipline spankings for acting like such a boy and not working out like she does or does he want to be a cuck?

fanspeak is ded?

No, it's good too sometimes. We need to decide on /nfl/-approved boards though.

Those weights aren't real anymore desu. Anthony Castonzo only weighs around 270 in his own words.

Here he is standing next to Nelson who is was around 320ish all season

Attached: conzo.jpg (1200x754, 138K)

That was yesterday

Fanspeak is good. It gives you more options. I like TDN though because they have good scouting profiles of each player, and the sim runs pretty fast.

Here's one I just did on fanspeak. It went pretty well. It's hard to find a board there that doesn't have really dumb rankings though.

anything other than murray at 1 is retarded

What are the chances the giants actually move on Rosen? Would cardinals ever trade for anything but a first?

Busc hired 2 female coaches

Why are these guys so fat?

On football every position is highly specialized, so you can't expect a OL man looks like a WR, nor a RB look like a Safety.
