Our league matches could be used to torture kidnapped people in basements.

why do so many lithuanians play in israel?
pretty cute, not sure why they're shilling for Red Bull though
Were things better or worse when you lot were in the Soviet leagues?
Doesn't Israel have a sizable Russian speaking minority? Maybe it has something to do with that.
no idea. they are all pure so no connection to russians. they are goalkeepers, only position that we are quite decent at and cheap so maybe thats why.
national team is at all time low. clubs past few years got very good results in europe but there is no consistency, sometimes good sometimes shit. also many clubs go bankrupt and later reborn but thats common problem in all eastern europe countries.
This isn't related to sport, but how often do Lithuanians use Lithuanian Wikipedia? I like Eastern European music from the '80s and '90s, and Lithuania had loads of great '90s bands that I keep discovering, but none of them have pages on Wikipedia so I can't learn about them. Were Sekmadienis famous? Is Jurate Miliauskaite famous? What about all the Eurodance groups like Soniclove and Ledi Disko? Are these people famous over there, or am I just constantly discovering hipster bands that nobody listens to?

#2 point has all relevant bands around that time. not eurodance but overall biggest bands were FOJE, SEL (still active) and BIX
Awesome; thank you. I will check them out, and see if any of them are mentioned on Lithuanian Wikipedia.
