It had a single player "story"-like mode where you could interact with your teammates like a visual novel or some shit, and I think there was a special mechanic for dribbling past players in one-on-one situations, like a minigame of attacker vs defender.
I literally played it once before the disc broke, fucking PS2 was bullshit like that sometimes.
Anyone know what game I'm talking about? I used to be convinced it was Virtua Soccer, but after looking up some videos I don't think so any more.
