Not at all, there was just an hot air pocket which caused an updraft. Anyway the foul was even more clear. But it's Chievo so they'll just shut up and in exchange of some shady plusvalenza like they always do

Definitely. I mean, I'm not trying to say that just because he wasn't hit/affected it's not a foul, but rather, both players were challenging for the ball, and neither tried to impede each other. No foul, no penalty.

Lets settle this once and for all fras, Adidas or Nike. For me, its the Predatorâ„¢
He's prepping his jump with his superior athletic ability, I'm sure he heads this not only away from his box but towards an attacker and they score on the counter
Xavier White
Andrea Conti seems to be immobilized in a squatting position. Surely dollar will save this though.
He twitched in the opposite direction before the shot.
Ian Murphy
I didn't see Calamerda doing any better. In fact he was worse in every way, no way would his manlet ass been able to save the goal either.
The only one who got exposed today was Gattushit as always.
It's not Conti's fault Sushit is a cunt and that Gattushit instructed him to stay back in 2nd half.
POO
If you think Calamerda's manlet ass would have been able to stop Hetemaj's header you're delusional lmao.
The goal we conceded was entirely Laxalt's fault since the cross came from our left-flank.
>You get lucky wins so you're right!!!! Boy where did that lead many Inter coaches in the past? Gattushit is literally pulling an Inter.
As Sacchi said >“I’m tired of hearing ‘it’s enough to win’ or ‘only winning counts’. That’s how you destroy other values.
>“We Italians, in football as in life, are used to getting the best result with the least possible effort. But that’s not the right way to progress.
And JJ is undefeated this season period. Who the fuck cares? Gattushit isn't developing crap. There's no improvement to our game whatsoever.
Crap lucky coach, we will make a huge mistake if we don't sack him after this season.
And get a load of this These are Gattuso's "training methods"...if you can call them that.

I didn't specify "when". With Gattumeme we won't come even close.
>Conti was clearly still injured/not fit. Nah, he was doing all of the right things in first half. He would pass the ball to Suso and make many good runs forward expecting for Suso to pass it to him but he would never do it. In 2nd half Gattuso told him to stay back and Suso wasn't even tracking back. He had no freedom to attack at all.
>Suso played terrible, but I've seen many more games where he played better with Calabria. Those were a long long time ago, when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. Suso has regressed horribly, he simply needs to go.
Suso was so bad that Castillejo got frustrated and drifted to the right wing in the 2nd half even before Suso was subbed out for Borini.
Also, forgot to mention before that Hakan actually did well for once when he was subbed in for Paqueta.
Brayden Gonzalez
I unironically got redpilled by the brithis user explaining how of a good job Gattuso is actually doing. Compare to what milan was previous years and to the current state of roma, inter, and lazio, Gattuso isn't doing too bad.
Well yeah, I agree that Suso-Calabria hasn't worked well in a while.
But something wasn't right with Conti at all
David Garcia
Conti was playing tactically perfect. He made a lot of forward runs in the 1st half but Suso kept ignoring him. And then in 2nd half it's clear he got told to stay back, as well as Suso wasn't tracking back so he wasn't giving Conti any freedom to attack. When Conti played with Castillejo at RW vs Empoli 2 weeks ago he played brilliantly.
Obviously he's not 100% and has to work on his defending a bit but the yellow card he received...that was his first and only foul the whole game. Ref allowed Chievo players to get away with much worse fouls on Piatek and other Milan players(including one very horrible tackle on Conti in the first half when one of Chievo's players had his studs up and could have seriously injured Conti) all game along.
He's not to blame for the goal either, that's on Laxalt for allowing the cross to happen and Dollar's poor reaction to that very far-away header. The only way Conti could have stopped Hetemaj there is if he fouled him in which case it would have been a penalty for Chievo.
Elijah Campbell
Conti lost track of him when he could and should've anticipated him (), you simply can't deny it
>The only way Conti could have stopped Hetemaj there is if he fouled him lmao
Dominic Turner
Now pay attention to Laxalt not even attempting to stop the cross. Being scared that the ball would hurt him... Not to mention that he was terrible tactically all game long and poor Castillejo had to track back for him several times.
>lmao Do you honestly think anyone from our team could have intercepted a ball that high in the air from where Conti was standing after Hetemaj visibly pushes him?
The way Hetemaj struck the ball wasn't strong either so this is more of a Dollar mistake than anything. Dollar made him look like Bierhoff.
Nolan Torres
>Laxalt not even attempting to stop the cross So? That means they should stop paying attention in the box? >ball that high Dude didn't even jump and he was leaning forward to hit it
I'm not telling you Calabria would've done better because I have no idea, but Conti definitely made a mistake
Wyatt Sullivan
Pay attention to the cross then, that was a very good cross, not a cross that can easily be intercepted. And there was no way in hell Conti was ever gonna reach it even if he did jump(which he couldn't because he was slow to recover after Hetemaj pushed him so things went by him very fast). At this point the only way he could do something is to physically battle with Hetemaj which could have easily resulted in a foul.
Now go watch that webm again and this time pay attention to Kessie, he completely left his side un-marked(thus leaving Hetemaj unmarked forever to make his run forward) and was constantly looking at the left.

the shit players in Roma's defense will at least be put into a more comfortable position now that they won't have to play 50 meters away from the box and they will have the midfield filter, considering Ranieri won't ask some slow as fuck players to go press and get gassed after 15 minutes of chasing the ball. >outjumped There was no need for that even. With some luck in the draws to avoid Chelsea it doesn't seem impossible. It's nothing. Last season we also had this kind meme run under Gattuso where we went 10 matches unbeaten.
If you watch the matches themselves you'll see how shitty Milan is playing. Not much has improved since then except for us buying a few better players.
Jackson Foster
Outjumped my ass. The cross was curled and came perfectly at him. Conti couldn't jump since he was pushed off-balance(which should have been a foul for us but the ref was a cunt so yeah)
Yeah you try coming back from a huge injury like that and play a match of professional football buddy...we'll see if you'll have the guts to suddenly battle other players physically.
Not to mention that he could have caused a Penalty if he pushed Hetemaj on the box.
What a fucking cancer you are.
Benjamin Edwards
>Yeah you try coming back from a huge injury like that and play a match of professional football buddy...we'll see if you'll have the guts to suddenly battle other players physically Are you saying conti isn't 100%? Because you've been saying he is, for months.
Carson Diaz
based . laxshit was largely at fault for this. He didn't contest the cross at all. conti was pushed and couldn't reset his footing to priperly challenge for the header. If any of you have ever played footy, which i bet none of y'all have, you know its very hard to recover in a split second when off balance. Oh and the header was perfectly placed. i guarantee that dude doesn't head the ball like that again for the remainder of the season. conti was unlucky
No I never said he was 100%. Not once. You can check the archives for that if you'd like.
I said that he's ready to play, which he proved against Empoli(y'know a team which has been better than Chievo this season) where he didn't have Sushit ruining everything and actually had Castillejo who was co-operating with him.
Caleb Russell
Is part of the reason this Milan team was so loved because they technically didn't win much? Be honest.
>laxshit was largely at fault for this. He didn't contest the cross at all. conti was pushed and couldn't reset his footing to priperly challenge for the header. This. Finally somebody who understands. But also Kessie failed at tracking Hetemaj too.
You can't blame Conti for that. But I have to say, I don't expect Conti to be a master defender. For me he shines at attacking, and sometimes offense is the best defense, but not when you have Suso ruining everything by consistently ignoring his runs forward and doing his "le cut inside" shit over and over again.
If Gattuso insists on starting Suso then he needs to tell Suso to knock that shit off and that he needs to be a team-player.
Ethan Gutierrez
i mean 2 cls and 3 finals in 5 years is pretty good. you remember at the time it was basically impossible for anyone but juve to win the league due to blatent match fixing and corrupt officals. much better success wise than other beloved teams of a similar era like the arsenal of the early-mid 00s
Charles Wilson
you reckon suso is getting complacent cause he knows gattuso won't bench him?

i mean they won a lot, but they could have won more i guess the likeable players def helped

2 CL's and a final(which Milan choked) isn't a lot? Anshit bottlenecked that Milan otherwise they could have won even more.
Landon Jackson
If Milan is planning to invest, they should poach Sarri. Would be the ideal match-up to start a new era.
Gabriel Butler
Suso has been awful for a long time now. I've seen some people speculate that he's playing with some injury or whatever but that seems like them trying to damage control for him.
Gattuso is trying hard to recover Suso like he did with Bakayoko and has been constantly trying to do with Calhanoglu but imo it's not a good decision to always put an individual before the team. Some players just won't work out no matter what.
Matthew Foster
Actually Milan should go all out for Zidane if they can get him. If Poop wants to leave Man City as has been rumoured, that could be an option too..or maybe Klopp if he follows Poop to Serie A.
Samuel Scott
So now not only Conti didn't do anything wrong, but it was actually an irregular goal.
You're beyond pathetic
Caleb Johnson
Imagine thinking Milan still have the ability to attract managers like Zidane, Pep, or Klopp
Blanc or Conte are the very best you could hope for
Cameron Evans
He preferred Europe, I get it. But 1 Coppa and 1 Serie A with that team makes the last 10 years of Wenger look like an overachievement. They always played so smoothly and looked so good, but weren't even in the title race half of the time. And then after Juve's relegation he had 2 years to take that spot but immediately dropped and got leapfrogged by Inter and a Roma team with a back line of Doni, Panucci, Mexes, Juan and Tonetto.
Austin Myers
Imagine cancelling Lautaro's piece of brilliance while letting Piatek's offside+kung-fu kick stand. VAR never changes
Brody King
FIGC always has preferred Milan before Inter desu, kind of pathetic but you learn to live with it
Jose Miller

>FIGC always has preferred Milan before Inter Who wouldn't tho?
Zidane's out of reach and would probably like a better squad. At least Sarri can train up a team to play with a plan that fits the tradition.

You can't deny that the ref was horrible all game long and that Chievo players were constantly fouling Milan players and getting away without a booking.
Piatek's goal for 2-1 was probably irregular too. The VAR decision seemed dubious. It seemed like Hakan was offside or that Piatek almost caused a foul with the way he jumped.
Milan would be an upgrade for over Livershit and Dortmund and you know it bitch. Poop could be convinced if you give him a huge budget but I dunno. Zidane...there's a very small chance.
Honestly I wouldn't mind Allegri back when JJ inevitably sacks him this season.

30 point penalty one season, what was it the next, 10? The squad didn't really change except for Shevchenko leaving though. They still should have done better, especially 07-08. And like I said, even Inter getting a lot of help didn't stop a crocked Roma side from pushing them all the way. Milan didn't even compete domestically those last 2-3 years, can't blame Inter for that.
Blake Miller
>Milan would be an upgrade for over Livershit and Dortmund and you know it bitch. no it wouldn't. both liverpool and dortmund have a better squad and are in a better financial position than Milan. stop beign delusional.
Noah Powell

Not even looking at it from that standpoint, just sad that the lad didn't get that goal. It doesn't even look like he intentionally touched the ball. Meanwhile the refs let much more dubious shit stand the night before. Fuck VAR.
I disagree
(You)
>Remember how VAR disallowed Borini's perfectly regular goal vs Empoli where he dribbled like 2 players No, care to post it?
Anthony Walker
We need to vastly improve the squad if we seriously aim to win shit anyways. If we go for a serious coach like Zidane of course we would have to upgrade the team too.
I don't trust Sarri managing a big club like Milan. He's already failing at Chelsea. I don't think we can get him either since aren't Chelsea punished from making transfers for one year? I think that extends to coaches too right?
>closing the gap between Milan and 2nd based Carlo
William Baker
Well Paqueta was playing injured last match too and he was shit(that and he's fatigued from playing many games). But I agree, the biggest fault is Suso's attitude. He's being very selfish. Reminds me of Menez.

Is Gianluca Manganiello the most handsome man of Serie A?

ancient midfield, inconsistent gilardino, and inzaghi being dead all the time means milan lacks a real goal scoring threat, pato too young, his best he scored what 18 goals? their young midfielders either sucked or were injury prone(gourcuff) when they got a proper goal scorer again they won the league but, yeah im not really sure why they couldn't out do roma at least lol

Gavin Howard
That's not how it works. You can launder the debt but it's still there. See: FC Inter.

you don't know how FPF works, at all. FPF is specifically designed to avoid this kinda situation, otherwise every team would be owned by arab money and they'd all spend billions to buy whoever they want. Milan can only spend what Milan makes.

For exemple Juve is full of debt but are fine with FFP.
