What are some sports played exclusively in your country?

For me, It’s cheese rolling
>100 people chase a wheel of cheese that has been rolled down a steep hill
>Whoever catches the cheese wheel wins and gets to keep it

Definitely a sport. Should probably hold some kind of international cup every four years though

had no idea this was a canadian thing 2bh. just assumed it was an option everywhere

sounds like a proper Norfern game that one

I think it's a tradition where they LARP in a game of 15th century folk football. Weird to think the modern game was derived from that

Isn't that just "smear the queer"?

I once played a game called mountainball, a baseball variant played with a mattock and softball-sized leather ball that had players run a criss-cross pattern between four posts, which could be run forwards to score or backwards for tactical reasons, and allowed multiple players to take each post. Innings ended with two outs or a lack of players to bat, making backwards running often necessary.

maybe this and futevôlei, I guess

handegg

In some sense oklahoma is a sport, it’s closest relative being Sumo, and I don’t imagine it’s played anywhere other than the US and Canada

does mattock mean something different where you're from? doesn't seem ideally suited to the purpose

I should have specified that only the handle is used, with the flatter end being used as the batting end
