“Claudio’s from the city, he’s a Roma fan but more than that, he’s one of the most experienced coaches in world football,” said AS Roma director Francesco Totti.
“What we need now is a safe pair of hands to guide us back into the top four and ensure that we are playing Champions League football again next season. We have 12 games left and we need to win as many of them as possible.”
Born and raised in Rome, Ranieri began his playing career in the Italian capital with the Giallorossi – making a handful of appearances in the early 1970s.
A defender by trade, Ranieri spent the vast majority of his playing career at the lower levels of Italian football; helping his sides in successful promotion campaigns on no fewer than four occasions.

He's uneducated (like most players), very shy in front of a camera, especially since everyone has always been very careful to spot every mistake he made and he's also one that on the pitch very often lost his cool and ended up doing retarded stuff.
Throughout the years he learned not to take himself too seriously on TV and you can see how every time he goes in front of a camera and acts like himself he manages to steal the show.
He's still not what you'd normally call smart but he's not that stupid and is lucky enough to have a family and friends that more often than not advised him in the right way. Another fucking terrible match by Gattuso.
He had to start his beloved Sushit...who NEVER EVER fucking made a single pass for Conti going forward.
He had to as always have the team sit deep with his cancerous defensive tactics and it's clear that he instructed Conti to stay back in the 2nd half since he barely even attempted to attack in 2nd half.
On top of that he got himself expelled and left the team in such a bad position in such a crucial moment.
Awful referee once again. Countless fouls(especially on Piatek) not given for Milan time and time again. Chievo players got away with a lot of shit and none of them got booked.
Laxalt as I've said again and again...he's no LB...he's simply terrible from there and he's not starting material either.
