Lads I'm I've got 2-day tickets and hotel picked out for Martinsville up right now, but I can't quite finish click yes. I have a 10 hour drive if I do it, I can't decide.
Cameron Myers
If I were in your position, I'd go. Don't be such a faggot, do it.
Cameron Harris
>PWC You mean BGTWCA
Mason Walker
if it were a cookie cutter track i would understand your doubt, but it's martinsville, fun is guaranteed, so just click yes and go

ARCA @ Five Flags on Saturday, MAV TV. Pretty weak field, but I guess that's to be expected there.

dailysportscar.com/2019/03/07/2020-hypercar-regulations-expanded-to-include-road-car-derivatives.html >The FIA World Motorsport Council, at its meeting in Geneva, has approved an updated to the 2020 LMP1 Technical Regulations. >“Expansion of the 2020 LMP Technical Regulations concept to allow a “Hypercar” developed from the road cars sold by the manufacturers to enter, while preserving the previously-approved regulatory format. >“This expansion is designed to enable additional manufacturers to enter the championship.” >The addition is understood to have been informed by input from a number of manufacturers in the Technical Working Groups developing the final regulations, in response to both budgetary, and platform availability concerns. >An update in detail is expected to be released during the Sebring race meeting next week. I am carefully optimistic about this. This should allow manufacturer that have Hypercars like Ferrari to use them for the class while those who don't have them like Toyota can just create the car from scratch. From the wording the restriction(drag coeficient, horsepower, etc) is the same regardless of origin so it should(in theory) allow a level playground between both concepts.
IndyCar is open wheel mostly road racing which exists all over the world with f1 and other series. No other country has oval stock car tradition
Robert Cruz
Doesn't Australia or Brazil also have stock car racing? Albeit on road courses instead of ovals, but still. And couldn't touring car drivers try NASCAR or something?
Colton Walker
kind of bums me out, considering that the 00s and early 10s had a bunch of foreign drivers coming in
just so expensive now at every level that no one can work up the funding to make it happen
Angel Mitchell
Do you mean Stock car brasil? Those cars are probably closer to touring cars than anything else.
I honestly don't think Ferrari will take part. I think they and a few others might've hoped the ACO declined to alter the rules, just so they could pretend to be upset for PR points with fans.
Jonathan White
Anyone watching wrc? these Mexican streets look pretty cool
Charles Ortiz
I don't think it's impossible. It was revealed in 2016 on spanish Eurosport that Ferrari was working on an LMP1 but it got killed because of stuff inside the company(youtu.be/QyTPc5Bgk_E). With the commercial potential of the class and lower budget i could see them do it. No stream and the tv transmission is on a pay channel.
Ian Gomez
First for not being able to legally watch anything but NASCAR and F1 this year unless I sell my organs to the telecom jew
If it's a BoP class Ferrari can just shit out an FXX-K Evo GTR Mk.II+S for some collector to buy for 11 gorillion dollars so he can put in a museum after it wins The Mongs

>Carlin confirms O’Ward for 13 Indycar rounds thats the taco lad who won indy light, right? good for him reminder that the taco rally is comfy
Camden Diaz
He's right, though. If you can tune in to a motorcycle race on the last lap and not have missed anything of meaning because all the overtakes are irrelevant, it makes the sport boring unless you have ADD.
Angel Flores
>boring unless you have ADD. Even in Mugello Moto3 with a massive pack track position always matters because there's no pit stops or full course yellows to break up the field or reset the order and you can't go from 15th to 1st in a lap, and you are tiny brain if you can't follow the progression and strategy of even the slowest MotoGP races.
>thats the taco lad who won indy light, right? Yep

I just don't understand how it's supposed to advertise anything if nobody knows what it is and can't link it back to the product it's supposed to be selling unless you really look into it which nobody will ever do
Asher Barnes
It is openly Philip Morris, where is the conspiracy?
Ryan Gomez
subliminal marketing. its just the marlboro logo on its side. besides, youve already asked what it was.
Jace Jones
Someone who does not know the link to Marlboro will not think of buying Marlboro Reds when he sees this design

Motorcycle racing is too dangerous. At least in F1 they can't fall out of their car at 200mph.
Nolan Peterson
Not really when you look at the landscape of fat white westerners and what (((marketing))) and diabeetus trash, like energy and soft drinks, have done to the population. That cancer is spreading around the world, and so is the diabeetus epidemic.
When you monopolize communications, you can normalize shit like eating and drinking garbage, faggotry, communism, etc, and all of that has had an "extreme" impact on our society, and clearly warrant breaking out the gallows for the uncaring offenders.
It worked for me, but I can absolutely see issues arising. Streaming apps tend to be shoddy as fuck and a lack of Video Quality selection makes it prone to just breaking because the server might consider your bit rate "too fast" for lower quality, but is actually too slow for the next higher quality video. So you get to watch for just a few seconds at a time. Desperately need the ability for customers to select the quality the video stays in.
Cooper Turner
>tfw I thought Felix was gonna win it all after P1
Yeah the high bitrate for the NBC player has been an issue for many people since they started using it a few years ago. I didn't have any problems today but I used to so who knows what the variables are.
Bentley Cruz
James Davison will return to the Indy 500 with Dale Coyne, Jonathan Byrd's, and Belardi
>Desperately need the ability for customers to select the quality Why when idiots throw money at them regardless? They're just going to minimize the standards and quality of their product while maximizing the cost to the customer until people stop giving them money for shit products, which is never, because people are about as smart and independent as herd animals.
Isaiah Lee
The product today was pretty good. Much better than the no graphics 480p shit we used to get which just turned into nonstop interviews with pro mazda kids.
Colton Ramirez
Good. I'm glad at least somebody is satisfied with the product.
Agreed. Quality only dipped once for me briefly, and commentary was actually looking at what was going on on the track and looking at telemetry, as opposed to "This is bumblefuck at turn 7, he looked faster i think? lmao"
Maybe two times when the race director switched from following one car to another abruptly, minus that good flow.
NBC's indycar team is genuinely the best commentary team in motorsports, I think, so I'm hopeful.
Julian Diaz
>the best commentary team in motorsports pic related
I appreciate how much they DON'T shill and how willing they are to call a fucked up decision a fucked up decision on driver or series alike.
They're not lying when they say they have some work to do, a couple more years of dormancy and it would have turned into another North Wilkesboro or Nazareth.
Reports that Suarez won it and had McDowell on the ground before officials got there. McDowell impeded Suarez's flying lap on his cool down and Suarez was furious, went over to have a word and they got in a fight.
Andrew Taylor
Breaking news: everyone in NASCAR actually retarded
They changed their initial plan of having him for all rallies this year, next round in Corsica is gonna be Loeb and Sordo. Wouldn't be surprised if they do the same in other rounds.
They'll do it for every tarmac round he's ridiculously slow on tarmac. Wouldn't be surprised if they chuck Huttunen in for Finland too.
Landon James
everyone sandbagging back for the stupid new qualifying procedure and wound up getting in each others way on their warmup/cooldown laps, mcdowell and suarez disagreed about their lines and got in a fight on pit road afterwards
Im glad the SJWs havent totally invaded nascar otherwise we'd have a stream of articles calling McDowell a racist.
Luke Baker
lmao when the car starts rolling
Kayden Thomas
Put Rovanpera in, he might just do something crazy.
autosport.com/wrc/news/141925/canadian-rally-urged-to-be-ready-for-wrc-round >Canada's return to the World Rally Championship could be fast-tracked in an effort to find FIA rally director Yves Matton's medium-term solution to the series' winter rally headache. >Matton told Autosport last month that he favoured two winter rallies on the WRC calendar and a Canadian event is seen as part of that solution. >A mild Rally Sweden (pictured above) put the issue of finding a cold, snow-sure event back on the sport's agenda and an Ottawa-based February rally could be that event. >The Canadians stated at the outset that a WRC return would be a five-year plan, culminating in a WRC slot for 2023. >WRC Promoter has encouraged them to rethink that timescale.
>spic getting in a fight in Arizona poor choice really

That's the easiest way to piss people off in NASCAR these days, because there's so many rich whiny cunts that can't stand to be around those smelly unimportant UNDERFUNDED.
Can we kick the niggers, spics, dykes, women, jews and any non-white race out of NASCAR please? this sport was built for us whites a proud race...Im.sick of seeing that fucking faggot cocksucking spic, white men..white men...Suarez can go race that ghetto ass Peeko Mexican series that races stolen cars on ghetto tracks....I want white guys,

This. Plenty of racing opportunities in the U.S. on street, track, and dirt. Just find a series you'd like to try and run it in the junker of your choice.
Andrew Wilson
look into your local tracks bud. still will cost some money though
David Bennett
>find a series How exactly does one go about doing this?
>local I really need to get the fuck out of Jersey
Josiah Bennett
I think your best bet is simracing. People like Lando Norris and Max Verstappen still do this.
figure out where you live. Use a google map to find the nearest track. Go to its website. See what series run there.
Kevin Stewart
>AMX Yeah? I'll check it
Thanks, homie
Joseph Roberts
>How exactly does one go about doing this? This.
Local dirt tracks are filled with dudes that are passionate about racing, and they'll be more than willing to help you decide on a series, car, and everything you'd need to get a start on it. I had a buddy that used to run late models at local tracks and they all helped each other out.
Asher Hill
I think the problem with that is that I live in one of the most urbanite areas of the country. Eh, I've been wanting to move for awhile now.
I'm telling you the SE Asian dudes would absolutely smoke the series every time. They have no fear of death on those things, and they tune the fuck out of them for max speeds. Run them on a street circuit and it would be a hell of race.
let's face it, even if a yamaha rider does good in quali, you know it's still that 10 laps bike from the last couple years at best, it's gonna be a two years suffering before the bike gets good again, at least in the meantime markek will get rekt by the ducati squad, their pace is out of this world

Morning loop done. This rally has been a bloodbath. Only Tanak and Evans have not had any problems and Ogier got a ton of luck getting a puncture on a stage that was red flagged.
>kimball starting 9th, hanley 12th, Rahal in between That's the vortex right there. Avoid at all costs tomorrow
Parker Cooper
Are you talking about in terms of causing a local yellow instead of a red flag? That's the only thing I can possibly assume you mean.
A car in the middle of the track is on the main racing surface and is something that has to be avoided by everyone, and therefore an imminent safety concern. A car in an escape road is a safety concern only if another car spins at the same place.

Toyota's been over there testing already, they were never going to be close in the first session regardless.
SMP being only two seconds ahead of LMP2 tells you how far from where they should be they are.
Cooper Scott
toyota is the last remaining hybrid LMP1, it makes sense that they are much faster. the hybrid system is a huge advantage and was supposed to entice Oreca / Gibson to make a version but they did not. It's sad that all the other manufacturers stopped their programs. We'll have to wait for 2021 for LMP1 to be good again i fear
honestly looking forward more to the 12 hours race but we'll see what the weekend brings
The Titanak ! They put that note in the loading time in WRC 6 and 7. Can't wait for WRC 8 after the shitshow thas is Dirt 2.0 (Sorry for that vidya post)
Someone asked about this car in the Xfinity thread but that race is kill so posting here.
>Lombard Bros Gaming
If you look up the channel it's a couple of dudes in their early 20's playing vidya. 2,000 subscribers (lel), but each video has maybe 35 views. Also yes, this essentially lets you see the ROI for sponsoring an Xfinity car because you can check social blade stats and compare them to every weekend this car ran.
Lombard Bros Gaming is actually the secondary channel of a streamer named N2SC4R. He plays a lot of console nascar vidya (he's not a bad driver imo), and he's gotten into iRacing as of late.
So, the theory I've seen on Reddit about this sponsorship:
His father supposedly died in a workplace accident and the family got a ton of money from either the settlement, or inheritance.
At some point, N2SC4R got hooked up with Jacoby and his crew of orbiters. If you don't follow iRacing drama, there's this dude in his late 20's who used three credit cards and two payday loans to buy this full blown late model chassis and stuff it in his bedroom to use it as a sim rig. Supposedly he's super shady behind the scenes, but mods are quick to delete anything mentioning him if you talk about him openly on sim racing forums.
Jacoby essentially convinced N2SC4R to throw some of his settlement money at Ryan Sieg's team. Because N2SC4R is on the spectrum (hence why you'll see autism awareness decals pop up once in a while on his channel), he's not aware enough to know that this is all a gigantic waste of time and isn't actually doing anything for his channel.
Sieg's team doesn't care. It's clean money and it allows them to race. NASCAR has certainly had its' fair share of weird sponsors over the years so from their perspective, it's no biggie.
I can't remember Suarez even bumpering someone literally ever but now suddenly he throws a dude on the ground and starts talking mad shit over some open wheel diva tier qualifying bullshit, what a world.
Nice. These guys run their machines hard. It's a fun form of motorsport
Ryder Anderson
Hmm, should I use a spic VPN or a leaf VPN?
Asher Martin
Spic is pretty clearly superiour between no ads and actually being useful for the entire season, assuming IndyCar's streaming isn't somehow worse than Sportsnet's shit player.
>it's time for another episode of "I wonder if MotoGP's website realizes my timezone changes in 2 hours when it says local time" Oh boy my favourite, thanks capitalist industrial complex and your kike science, I really needed the sun to be up until 11:45pm in the summer in exchange for plunging my mornings back into darkness when I'm just beginning to stop thinking of killing myself after all.

Dani will go for it, that's his job, Hyundai is ABOgier/Toyotanakk. And will fucked up anyway. 5/4/3/2/1 pts was a mistake for that PS, anyway. It should have stayed with 3/2/1 pts
If he manages to win the championship this year on what was the worst car on the field he is the indisputable GOAT. The 2017 championship on a privateer team with 0 factory support is one of the greatest if not the greatest.
James Richardson
I'm beginnig to wonder. Loeb & Elena were masterclass, especially 2008, but Ogier & Ingrassia are adding something more to it. Also this, 2017 with that Ford was already an achievement.
