Basically since the car is way less planted he has to make more corrections on corner entry and exit. There are also inherent traits the car seems to have that can't be fixed mechanically so the driver must adjust around them. Though most other drivers find that Indycars can be tailored more to their driving style than an F1 car because one is an engineering exercise with a theoretical setup that offers peak performance while the other can be tailored to a driver for their best performance.

The best I could find is retirement rate, maybe somewhere has number of crashes or number of self inflicted retirements. But for that and reliability being shit, De Crasheris has a DNF rate of over 70%. The highest of any driver over 200 races.

they want to award point for the fastest lap only for commercial reasons, so DHL FASTEST LAP is actually important for fom income and it gives company sponsoring it more exposure, prove me wrong
