I'd like to see the merge just for keks, but doubt it would make Dutch/Belgian teams more relevant desu. Ajax would still be the only one that does decent in the CL and the rest is Europe League tier. Incomes would be higher but not by a huge amount, broadcasting income is not suddenly going to double. And the biggest problem is still that even with money (which Ajax for example has plenty of) it's still incredibly hard to attract good players to a league like ours.
