Apart from everything that paid off Roach did, Di Francesco was even worse than usual. After dominating the first leg you switch to a retarded 3 man defense that's basically a giant come get me sign. Players had no idea what to do and in offense it was always Dzeko, Perotti and Zaniolo with no help. Fielding Marcano, De Rossi, Perotti, Juan Jesus and Karsdorp all together was a retarded risk that didn't pay off, considering they're all half dead and aren't used to play 90 minutes. El Sharaawy on the bench for what fucking purpose? Schick over him? Also I hope this is the last time we get to see Zaniolo has a winger. It's literally wasted potential.
Why Roma didn't sign a better goalkeeper? Olsen almost give Porto a third goal before Porto actually scored
Zachary Walker
Yes, without VAR only the referee can be wrong, with VAR the referee and VAR can be wrong plus every time they check they put the repetition a hundred times so everyone witness the fuck up.
Human error is part of football, VAR doubles it. It was a mistake.

>roma fans acting like a single call blew the entire game >when roma was playing like complete dog shit against a team who's most noteworthy players are a 36 year old pepe and a 27 year old Casillas >when they already blew a 2-0 lead >when they would have already been eliminated in the next round >when they've been playing like garbage in serie A It's more of this loser mentality that frankly I just can't stand from fans. When my team loses I don't blame VAR (which isn't something you should depend on), I don't focus on a single arguable call, I don't sit here and think "what if". I accept that my team wasn't the better team, that we things didn't go our way, and I look to how you fix the problem. Roma played against fucking Porto, when they could have played a good team and gotten btfo like they yearly do. Don't even mention the fact that your attack was absolutely embarrassing and useless, the fact that you came into extra time limping, or the fact that your team has been shit all year. Go ahead and spread your tears and try to make people like you for being "lovable losers", but you play in fucking Rome. Nobody but newfags and crybabies buy into your bullshit. is VAR the introduction to a new era where overrated players are exposed as the brainlets they actually are? I actually like that players' dumb decisions are being called by VAR, like florenzi's. Mostly because recently there are too many over paid (transfers, salaries) brainlets considered top player. Hopefully VAR will be improved so there is less controversy and to keep some consistency as for some calls.
Connor Edwards
Sky Sport Italia still crying: era penal Adani get the fuck over it lmao. Florenzi need another loan to crotone in order to fucking grow up i cant belive that little prick is professional footie, fuckong hell. Dzeko fake an headbutt in a really pathetic way, Perotti can't pass the ball, EDF line up Karsdorp and he fuck up big time, De Rossi post derby declaration about his knee and the fact he can play more disavows himself and got injured, Zaniolo dig a hole in the pitch and hide himself very well for large majority of the match still afraid of Acerbi, truly a shit show ggwp Roma.
Thank god we have mutts and that one laziale that has been shitting the threads, coming out like a worm after it rained, to keep the thread alive. Thank you guys!

Nathan Sanchez
Yes, refer to
Kayden Jenkins
C'mon i just said what everyone thinks, i'm too nationalist to root for a foreign team. You will still defend florenzi or what?
Asher Evans
Nobody defended Florenzi nor Roma's performance. Hell yesterday morning I was posting about how retarded it was to play without El Sharaawy because Roma's offense was about as dangerous as a plastic cup of water. The formation was retarded. The players he started were even worse because we had 5 players that came from an injury and came out of form. There was still a penalty at the 120' and its not like Porto did much more apart from keeping the ball and shooting from outside the box that were non threatening for Olsen. They took two shots they took from inside were the goals. That doesn't magically make Marega stepping on Schick's heel vanish. You can still play like shit and lose because a ref call. For example, Milan against Roma did absolutely shit apart from Piątek making a weak as fuck shot that was deflected by Fazio, but that didn't stop them complaining about the penalty on suso. You can still play like shit and pass. Porto in the first leg was even worse than Roma last night and only scored because of the most retarded "assist" in the history of football. I was mostly seething about posts that are literally Yea Forums quality. Like, come on
Anyway, moving on, Ranieri seems favoured to take the job. How long until De Rossi makes him resign once again?
Asher Baker
What the hell was up with jekko? not only did he choke badly twice, but he never pass the ball around goal.
Asher James
EDF didn't come to press-conference after match Resignation confirmed?
Gabriel Price
I don't see that lob shot as a choke. He did the right thing and Pepe being an actual defender and moving into position before the shot. He read the situation well, something that Roma defenders can't do. Not like Olsen ever leaves the goal but still. I also don't see where he could have passed it rather than shoot. That said he certainly had a tough match. Being Roma's striker must be a fucking hassle. >spending 90 minutes and getting more or less two chances every match >watching florenzi cross into Kolarov on the other side of the pitch >Kolarov keeps crossing low hoping for 3 defenders to simultaneously fuck up >you finally found two guys that can actually play behind you, one of them is constantly played as winger while the other is fielded into every position but that one >El Sharaawy is a bitch and never passes you the ball so you decide not to pass it, but sometimes you do and he cuts inside and shoots on the defender right in front of him >there's this lanklet that was paid 40m that steps on your feet and/or vanishes from the match afte two minutes >that fucking goalkeeper keeps hoofing the ball everywhere but towards you and when you manage to hit it there's fucking nobody next to you so the other team swarms you and takes possession >there's a retard on the sideline yelling to press but you have the slowest team in the fucking world >you have to drop behind the midfield to make something happens >in the case an actual decent cross comes from that you're not in the box yet and there's literally no midfielder to run through because lol 4-3-3 >meanwhile your phone keeps ringing and you know its Monchi trying to ship you to China or somewhere Even if dzeko didn't have the mental fragility of a 12 yo rape victim, it would be hard. He went straight to sit on the bus. Pic related. They're probably trying to see if they can keep him and blame everything on the ref but everyone is still shitting on him here in Rome so that's tough
>the reddit thread won Eh whatever, hyped for the real and comfiest competition
Bentley Harris
I still don't understand how people expect EDF to do well with a defence where the best player is unironically Santon. Porto is a team on Roma's level and still won only because of VAR, individual mistakes by Geco and Perotti, DDR forced to go out etc. With a passable defence they would have conceded only that penalty
Asher Gray
damn that's a sad picture
Alexander Bailey
>play lower defense >stop trying to be Klopp and outpress teams that are way faster than you >play 4-2-3-1 because you don't have the players for a 4-3-3 Those are three things that he refuses to do and have nothing to do with last night's match. Last night he made a lot of mistakes but let's not pretend it's just last night. Yes our defense is shit but he keeps trying to play in a way that highlight the defenders and the goalkeeper flaws. Same happens with the midfield. It's been going on since last year, it's not just Porto. Is the team shit? Yes. Can the team do better with another manager? Yes. It's that easy. He had plenty of chances to fix his mistakes and he refused to do so.
Liam Richardson

Milan are reportedly €1m away from meeting Suso’s contract demands as the issue drags on.
According to Corriere dello Sport, talks remain ‘friendly’ between Milan and Suso but the club are only prepared to offer him ‘just over €4m a season’.
That contrasts with the Spaniard’s alleged demands of €5m plus bonuses, and the newspaper writes the gap ‘doesn’t seem simple to reduce’.
The attacker still has three years left on his contract, but the Rossoneri want to remove his €38m release clause.
The 25-year-old remains a first pick for Gennaro Gattuso but has not scored or assisted since January.

Monchi 'clashes with Roma fans'
Monchi reportedly clashed with Roma fans after the club’s Champions League exit to Porto, threatening to ‘take on each of you one by one’.
According to Corriere dello Sport, at least 15 supporters confronted Roma personnel at Porto Airport, including Edin Dzeko, Steven Nzonzi, Patrick Schick and Alessandro Florenzi, the latter of whom was ‘sarcastically applauded’ for conceding the Portuguese’s side penalty winner in extra-time.
The newspaper goes on to write Daniele De Rossi and Coach Eusebio Di Francesco were ‘spared’ but that Vice-President Mauro Baldissoni and Monchi were also targeted.
“You have to go, you’re wrecking the team,” they would have told the Spaniard.
The sporting director is said to have replied ‘you’re better’ and then ‘in six months, I’ll take on each of you one on one.’
Monchi joined Di Francesco in not speaking to the media after the Giallorossi’s 3-1 defeat on Wednesday, with Francesco Totti sent out.
That was the first time Totti had faced the Press before the former Sevilla man, who continues to be heavily linked with Arsenal.

Liam King
I guess all Suso's goals and assist and points he won for the team suddenly doesn't count just because shqiptar says it's statpadding. I hate him as much as the next guy but Suso was useful in the first half of the season when le top striker and our saviour piguain was doing fuck all while receiving the highest salary in the team. If he was actually good player maybe we wouldn't choke so hard against teams like Empoli and Frosinone, but he still gave result. The problem with Suso (besides selfishness, lack of pace and low iq shooting outside of the box hoping he would score) is that he's still injured and also out of form while Samu had a great game against Cagliari but Gattuso still playing suso no matter what. tl;dr suso is overrated surely, but throwing equal amount of shit on suso and the turk is unfair. The turk is irredeemably bad and was of no use whatsoever unlike suso.
Xavier Butler
Hakan and Suso are the one who made all the Milan strikers suck ass. They ruin the attacking play all the time. How are you supposed to get a chance on goal in 4-5-1 when both "wingers" are powerwalking around the halfway line, and if they have the ball they just cut inside and pass or cross it to the opponents.
They're not even good playmakers/passers. I've seen many games where Suso and Hakan literally don't get one thing right in 90 minutes. Sometimes I forget Suso is on the pitch because he hasn't touched the ball or made a run in like 25 min.
literally means he'll be proven right (his purchases) but somehow is translated to 'i'm gonna give each of you a beatdown'. the absolute state of media
Chase Peterson
I made six different slips. Only in one i put inter to win. Im superstitious on betting inter to win. Didnt play inter on all slips.
Grayson Young
>Hakan and Suso are the one who made all the Milan strikers suck ass Yeah, they even went to Sevilla and Chelsea to haunt piggy and Silva and Chris Friday scores goals while they're gone.
Again, i'm not claiming Suso is a GOAT player, and definitely i'm not saying both of them are good. But Suso had an impact on >our result and climb to top 4 in the autumn and shouldn't be compared to just dead hakan at all. Maybe Samu would be 100 times better than Suso if he played regularly and was confident in himself, hell he was infinitely better than Suso one time against Empoli (i said Cagliari in the previous post, i misremembered) but when Suso was injured in november or december he was as pale on the pitch as you described Suso in your post so it's no surpise why a stubborn ass like Gattuso doesn't rush to use Samu all the time.
Anthony Fisher
neither Suso nor Hakan can be in a CL level side Milan Hakan is usually shit and Suso is good for half the season and is shit for the remainder plus unless Suso just slows the team down and is too static on and off the ball

>"For me the glass is always half full. I see the sun even when it's not there, it's a way of living. For negative people things go bad in life too. It's a matter of character, of mentality".
i would take both over the snails that are being passed of as wingers right now i dont understand why Gattuso won't start Samu, Leo might actually need to sell both so Gattuso can stop being so stubborn
Owen Price
Conflicted. Ranieri was the last good Roma manager but personally I don't like these comebacks, especially since DDR pushed him out last time and he's still there, probably even stronger than he was. He might even try to steal his bench in a year or two in case Ranieri stays kek.
Austin Williams
In Spanish? Italian? It's a pretty obvious turn of phrase though. ~you're better, in 6 months it will be obvious and each one of you will concede to me not ~i'm gonna hit the mma gym for 6 months and wreck you all. that's ridiculous to take it as a threat
Chase Moore
Or as an alternative Gazidis can fire Gattuso and get an actual coach. After all, Elliot's goal is to make Milan as sucessful as possible in the next three years so they could sell it and you need an actual coach to get results. Let's be frank, Gattuso only stayed because of Maldini (and Leonardo maybe got sentimental too) but they now have a superior and Gazidis doesn't care about Gattuso.

I'm sure he didn't mean that, but right after Kolarov insulted that fan before Fiorentina Roma, the running joke was that sooner or later Roma players will start throwing stuff and beating fans in protest, so everyone was a bit taken aback from what Monchi said.
Alexander Richardson

No that match was what kept him on the bench for so long. He would have been sacked right after it if he lost that match. Instead he was ailed as a genius because of that 3 man defense, when the whole performance had very little to do with tactics.

I said it because he felt for the 343 tictocs that won him that game. And after that game some players, manolas, were considered to be better that what they actually are.

Spalletti should have been kicked out last season just after the celebrations for the CL qualification.
I really don't know. Why Naples in EL plays way better compared to when they play in a Serie A match?
Did Ancelotti tell to all players that it is useless to focus on trying to challenge Juventus since they already won the scudetto?
Kevin Cook
Ranieri will sign for 3 months, then at the end of the season he'll decide together with the team. Might become a director if he's not signed as a manager
Jackson Taylor
Are you aware of Ancelloti's CL to League titles ratio?
Where would he play? No way Allegri, if he stays, plays him as a left back.

This really shouldn't be allowed. It should be required that the players from the club's country should at least make up the dominant nationality for the respective club.

Chelski, one of the Spanish teams, a random dark horse
Spain again is more likely, because Chelsea is in shambles, Zenit was the most believable underdog and they already bottled it. I still think Napoli is the favorite though. ADL obviously brought in Ancelotti to do well in the CL, it's almost like Carlo owes him an apology.

Jose Brooks
user have you seen Inter? Half of the squad out, players tired because of no turnover, now even perisic looks dead and Politano is forced to play on the wrong side, Valero starting as a trequartista and Spalletti shifting into masterful EDF 3-4-2-1 tictocs to replace him with Cedric because he's the only passable sub. I'd say that a 0-0 draw away is a little success for the same squad that got manhandled by Casteddu less than a week ago.
Carson Barnes
>Lautaro suspended for the second leg Who are Inter going to field upfront, Ranocchia?
Aaron Smith
Suso used to be good(if one-dimensional) but he's regressed so badly. Just one of those failed players.
I have to say though, people are overlooking Rodriguez and Calabria who are shit-tier players as well who can't do shit offensively. Calabria needs to be shot for persuading Gattuso to start him over Conti who is the much superior player. Fucking grinta fraud.
Ryan Reyes
Yeah i agre that Inter were lucky to scrape a 0-0 but it's a shit result to have away
Bentley Rodriguez

I don't think it's his interest to come back in such a shit moment because the squad isn't currently fit to feed him tap ins. Also if Perisic is really in charge a truce could be possible with Marotta but not with the locker room.
Samuel Morgan
What else is he supposed to say? It's not like he can shit on his teammate and his coach, even though he damn well knows he should be a starter.
Gattuso won't even give the guy 5 minute subs, preferring to give playtime to his favorite fodders like Borini instead.
Joseph Baker
He was awful. I was so happy when Milan didn't sign him and he fucked off to Barca(where he failed majorly playing alongside fucking Messi).
Fucker never wanted to pass the ball, he made Menez look unselfish.
Brayden Hill
Calabria has a greater potential than conti
Luis Diaz
After seeing Inter the last few weeks and the absence of Icardi, Keita - I think they might drop down to 7th-8th place.
Is it even possible for Dalbert to be worse than Asamoah? What's the plan when they're attacking? All they do is slow it down, pass it home, and sometimes cross to a CF that's 174 cm tall.
Angel Mitchell
>Schick? Yes very good, very good. We have already had a successful encounter and I believe there will be a good rapport in the future. Oh you mean Patrik? I haven't seen him in person yet, but I do recall a fantastic goal he scored at Sampdoria.
He carried the team when he joined, like against Bologna just from the top of my head >I was so happy when Milan didn't sign him yeah because we are full of wingers better than him now right?
Carter Hughes
He also can play on both sides, which makes much more useful
Daniel Hill

Luis Williams
>What else is he supposed to say? He didn't have to say that he's happy to never play as long as Milan gets CL
Austin Adams
>He also can play on both sides So could Antonini and De Shittio.
TAS (or CAS) has published theyr schedule up untill 31 may and there's no trace of the appeal Milan made vs UEFA. Are they going for an off-court agreement?
That's right, thanks for reminding me of two more fullbacks who are, indeed, better than Conti
Dominic Bennett
I'm 99% sure that's not Dutch on the banner?
Nicholas Robinson
Not Flemish maybe? The hashtag is De Vrij's birthplace I think
Ryan Foster
He scored a few fluke goals and was generally shit. He was below Maxi Lopez-tier...Andre Silva-tier.
I would rather we go back to playing with 2 strikers than sign that meme.
His agent told him what to say. He doesn't wanna disrupt the team atmosphere. It's clear since he's defending Suso by saying that he's the reason we're conceding few goals because he tracks back now whereas before he didn't(fucking lol). football-italia.net/135489/conti-backs-barren-suso
I'm really afraid that Conti is simply being diplomatic and he'll probably look for another club this summer.
There's something very fishing going on with Gattuso rarely ever playing him despite him impressing majorly every time he played. It just doesn't make sense why he would constantly leave him on the bench despite his impressive performances...in favor of Calabria no less...who sucks.
Robert Wood
Cringe.
Hunter Jones
frankly we saw this same team being decent, i guess it really crumbles down without Radja or an inspired Perisic. Dalbert is ded so on the left side we're stuck with Asamoah, unless of course Spalletti decides to rely on Cedric as a starter on the right and switches him with D'ambrosio. I hope Icardi isn't coming back for the second leg so we can try Merola or Colidio, maybe bringing some new blood will be better than just shoving in Froggy as a striker or some other bullshit.
Jordan Phillips
He was born right next to Rotterdam (Ouderkerk), so that's hardly Flandres
It might be flemmish because of 'trikot', but in either Dutch or Flemmish it should be 'jouW'
Weird
Anthony Sanders
Not specifically Sounds like a weird formal way to ask for his jersey but he wrote jou instead of jouw Isn't trikot german anyway?
Hunter Taylor
iirc they had a meeting with them like a week before the Piatek/Piggy deals I think that resolved the issues since they made that deal relatively fast after
Blake Morris
Yeah it's weird, 'ik' en 'mij' isn't German though (Ich and mich)
Trikot is german though, but I thought it might have been Flemmish
Elijah Morris
Wish Pinamonti and that black winger with wacky hair that was loaned at the start of the season whose name I unironically forgot were still in the team.
Christopher Jenkins

Jeremiah Williams
Karamoh? He is too busy partying with Rick Ross and getting french women pregnant Rumor is that Inter won't use him next season and that they intend to make him a part of the deal for Chiesa, which I'm not sure I'm 100% on board with
The only reason he got sent to france was because Candreva refused to be sold/go on a loan last minute so Karamoh got fucked over. I'm still not sure if Pinamonti is good at all or not, I didn't see enough of him nor am I sure what kind of striker exactly is he supposed to be.
Oh well. Very nice gesture of him, that's what matters
the truce is irrelevant if the locker room is divided and the players can't be professional and do what they are paid to do, their best to make the team win
Justin Harris
Based amerijews controlling UEFA

>Karamoh Yes, him.
>The only reason he got sent to france was because Candreva refused to be sold/go on a loan last minute so Karamoh got fucked over Still hurts, he was really promising in the preseason. Probably got heartbroken after the loan and said fuck football, give me alcohol and whores.
>I'm still not sure if Pinamonti is good at all or not Meme talent (amazing on FM), not doing very well irl. But still, he'd probably do better than Ranocchia.
Justin Price
Yeah I wish karamoh was here, he even found out how to fucking shoot on target lately. Sadly he's the textbook example of the retarded zoomer that thinks he's god, although we could use him for a season before shipping him away.
Nicholas Butler
God I wish I was a rich retarded zoomer that fucked a different whore every day
Cooper Ross
>Probably got heartbroken after the loan and said fuck football, give me alcohol and whores. this is why I think he could perform well for a little while at Inter, he realized he has more chances to get that instant recognition he wants by playing as a sub in Inter than by being a starter of Tracteur FC, despite everything >we're still a more recognizable brand. He actually tried really hard when he got subbed in last year, maybe it could last for a little bit more.
Blake Roberts
To go into a bit more detail, Spalletti assured Karamoh that the club is counting on him to develop and that he will compete for the first team next season. A month ago Karamoh gets in a row with the management of Bordeaux telling them to basically fuck off and that he "is an Inter player". It was suspicious and at first looked like Marotta being sly and wanting him to get suspended and sent back but nothing happened.
I quite like him, he is promising and clicked with Rafinha so well last year. Loan to france was a mistake, but as I said, it was literally a last moment thing so he didnt have much choice.
Jonathan Butler
>A month ago Karamoh gets in a row with the management of Bordeaux telling them to basically fuck off and that he "is an Inter player" Damn, both sad and based if true, he always seemed like a decent kid personality-wise. >Rafinha Funny how Inter didn't want to pay his full price because he was "injury prone" yet the player that was bought instead can't stay off the treatment table.
>He actually tried really hard when he got subbed in last year This, can't believe they chose to keep the hobo Candreva instead of him.
will drinking that milk from a young age turn me into a pacey nig?
Wyatt Flores
The wonderful things that I would do to this woman.
Josiah Wood
Who do you rate as a winger?
Joshua Gray
allegri>roma conte>inter zidane>jj sarri>milan serie a is fixed
Grayson Scott
I definitely rate Douglas Costa highly and think he's underused at JJ and even Brazil. I like Asensio, even though it feels like a lot of people have turned against him lately. Isco is good too but more comfortable playing in the middle.
Milan doesn't necessarily need to stick to a winger formation though. We already have a phenomenal attacking right-back in Conti, if we could find an LB equivalent to that would be great.
I think focusing too much on buying new wingers might be a mistake. Suso and Hakan need to go but our priority should be getting an LB, 1 more starting creative midfielder and a backup midfielder + a vice-Piatek.
Landon Long
So...this is the probable Milan line-up vs Chievo this sunday according to Sky. Suso, Hakan, Calabria...all of this cancer starting once again.
I can't say I'm surprised. With each passing game I get less and less excited to watch Milan. This is the least excited I've been to watch Milan in years and that's saying a lot.
>implying that someone actually give a shit about milan-chievo ahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahahah oh wait let me laugh even harder AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHWHQHQHWHWHAHAHAHAH
Jeremiah Perez
>they chose They tried to kick him out but they couldn't, also because nobody in the whole eide world is willing to pay more than 20m and an average wage for him. Last season he had a few moments but in this one he was absurdly shit so I doubt anyone would want him.
Hunter Stewart
Initially rumours were that he will start Samu over sushit, Biglia over Baka and Conti over Calabria. I guess he just couldn't fight himself to use more of the same players over and over again instead of giving them a rest before derby.
Aaron Reyes
Two of my bet slips failed on one result. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Jason Mitchell
>Fulham user I don't know what you think the best manager in the world is, but not even him could save Fulham. It's a 3 months contract but in a place he knows well. He's also a manager with at least some personality that it's exactly what this team needs considering the absolute lack of anyone from the ownership. And if the rumors of becoming a director right after are true, even better. I don't know if Roma will get to CL with him, but at least he won't keep a high as fuck defensive line which again it's what Roma needs with these shit players. And at the end of the day he's better than something like donadoni, Panucci or Sousa. Nothing to be hyped about but at least a glimmer of hope
Austin Parker
Remember that league victory tho?
Juan Clark
Go watch Monza or something then you Berlusconi widow
Andrew Cruz
I would argue that what Roma needs right now is a minestraro that puts some order in the squad instead of throwing around 3-4-1-2 tictocs and changing formation 5 times per game
Luke Reed
Monchi is about to leave as well, so how would you summarize his two years at Roma?
Jason Roberts

>Totti in one day gets rid of Monchi, finds a decent manager that accepts a 3 months job without having to keep him in case he doesn't do well >also assures that Ranieri stays as direttore tecnico right after that, which is exactly what the club needs >goes from standing there and acting like shield when shits hits to fan to being the one that decides everything This is some Machiavelli shit.
Now if Spalletti was an actual man he would ignore whatever Wanda and Marotta are cooking up and field Frog or litterally anyone else against Eintracht. Best case scenario it's the big divk move of the year, worst case scenario Icardi gets blamed for being a cunt and Inter doesn't risk falling in the lower table by playing 2 games every week
Do coaches actually need to pass a physical after a certain age or is it just Di Marzio being cheeky and Ranieri having an already scheduled visit or some shit?
Andrew Robinson
I've never heard about any coach taking medicals before, myabe they are planning to try him as a CB instead of Fazio
