It's their teams in ConIFA, the non-FIFA international football body which has got a lot more "serious" in recent years, with proper tournaments for stateless and partially recognised nations and such.

This tournament will work as a qualifier for the next ConIFA World Cup too.
In reality, the Yorkshire team for example consists of non-league players proud to wear the White Rose, but theoretically they could get any Yorkshire player, like Vardy. For other teams like the Northern Cyprus team, it is their brightest and best.
