This might be one of the deepest edge classes of all time so they should be able to find a day one starter at DE at the top of the draft to replace Ford. Plus Ford is a positional manlet at only 6'2", commands a cap punishing tag contract that may be expensive to renew, and is closer to 30 than 20 years old. I disagree. They were way ahead of the curve early but grew stale and inconsistent, which is predictable for rookies of their pedigree. Even still they were late round gems and could be reliable contributors in an easier scheme for them. An issue was they were both boundary guys and the packers were missing a true slot threat for the majority of the year. Teams could play high safeties and empty boxes because the packers barely ran it or threw slants/checkdowns

I think I've noticed a trend for his interviews. He seems really reticent in talking to people that don't know about or haven't played football. I watched the interview with Tim Tebow and he seems pretty comfortable talking to Tebow.

No. The front seven was horrible. They had one great game in the season opener and then they spent the rest of the season getting blown off the line of scrimmage. The secondary constantly had to bail out the fact that there was zero pass rush.

Short and Poe both had the worst years of their career and Poe looked like a complete FA bust. Peppers looked old. Didn't help that Daeshon Hall who was their third round pick in 2017 DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE TEAM, so there was no young pass rusher. Not a single player under 26 had a sack. Obada was the best young DE and he's an international project player for crying out loud.

he was just trying his hardest not to give his decision away at the time there are bettr ways to go about it, but it is what it is. his presser at the combine itself was much better. it's probably an experience thing, the spotlight wasn't on him for the vast majority of his college career and he's not very used to it

I was at the Titans/Bucs preseason game last season and got to see Winston for myself. He threw a touchdown while he was being sacked, which is a HORRIBLE decision but lo and behold it worked.

Winston is a lot like any other Gunslinger in the sense that a lot of his plays have a 50% chance of being absolutely spectacular and a 50% chance of being absolutely horrible. Mahomes is similar but he got lucky a ton last season. He had like ten throws that went for big gains that should have been Pick-Sixes.

Just look at Casserly's track record.

Fitz actually showed what a QB should be able to do with all those weapons at WR and TE the Bucs have. I mean he struggled with turnovers as well but at least he consistently moved the ball on offence
