do you watch universiade? they show ski orientiring now, with a digital live-map, funny sport, one of the girls(women's pursuit is live) even have a chest camera, some shots were shown on 21st minute of race
would be nice to have the same gps live maps in biathlon maybe, but maybe no reason for them in biathlon since most of the track is covered by cameras unlike orietiring
also seefeld had online page with GPS data, unfortunaltely i forgot to use it in 30 and 50k races :( it was shitty(too big lags) in sprint, but it probably was better for skathlon/maraphone

Olympiakomitea only provides funds for sports with athletes that compete at a very high level. When Kaisa retires the funding will gradually decrease unless and the sport will slowly die out in Finland. Our only hope is Venla or pic related or even some one like Tero making the step to the top of the WC. But with decreasing funds already it's difficult to imagine that happening. t.knower

Finnish biathlon team in Östersund is not living in a hotel, insted they reanted a house. Kaisa feels so comfy there, can relax and be as if were at home, can go to kitchen in the morning in just pyjamas. And they have a chef who cooks exactly what they ask for. Kaisa and Venla had been busy planning the menu for the team.

usually youtube-dl works but that's for videos from their archive. it doesn't seem to work well with their livestreaming service, which is where they are hosting videos from the algarve cup. hopefully they upload them to the archive at some point
