QS didn't need to kill every attempt of chasing as no one was even properly trying. In the last 10 km there were 3 guys from 3 different teams trying to close the gap. All QS did was wait for them to run out of steam and then stop pedaling.
You'll literally see better tactics in low level amateur races. People at least try to chase if they've got any gas left.
You'd think they learned after last years quick step domination.
