I have a family history of anxiety, all on my dad's side even though he has no issues it skipped him and hit me. They all live on the other side of the country, I never spent anytime with them other than a few days at a time for vacation yet I have a lot same issues that my grandmother, aunt, and uncle have. Some shit is genetics, I'm on meds and they're great. If you don't want to feel like a zombie then don't take benzos. Those will knock you out and are not really good for anything other than panic attacks that can't stop. Other ssris are usually fine. Everyone is different tho but they're not bad for the most part.
