>Icelandic player
>last name ends with -son
Do Icelandic people even have different last names other than Son and Dottir?
So many of my wife's sons
Sounds like nobleman, same with Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain
Do Icelandic trannies switch from -son to -dottir and vice versa? Has this happened yet?
Is this bait? Icelanders don't have surnames at all, they keep the old norse tradition and just use their father's given name+son/dottir as their surnames
Yes
That's a good question
Well Danish have -Sen but they also have -Gaard and such, so i was wondering if Iceland had that too
>French player
>Doesn't have a last name

>there's a better Portuguese player with his name as a nickname

Like said Icelandic people use traditional naming pattern. They also have to use traditional names (Gylfi, Kolbeinn, Ragnar, etc) off a website or have new names approved by the government based on whether they align with the Icelandic language/traditions.
So it's literally illegal to name a kid Jamal or whatever, which also means you're not getting any Jamalsons either.
What if you are like, an immigrant?
