Seriously though how can it cost so much? Surely order can't be that expensive and I know that the cost of living simply cannot be anywhere near that much... Money laundering somehow?
Also tell the rusfed that they're free to send Stasya to the us to love with me for free
It doesn't cost that much, don't believe fake news. She lives in an ordinary apartment and Cricket/Orser aren't that expensive, even fucking Kurakova has sponsor money for them.
I am so jealous of the french dude that calls Mariah his gf

Didn't Med and RusFed said that Med is paying Orser, if they didn't lie the 90 000$ a month is even more outrageous. So either the journalist is bullshitting or some people in the RusFed have a good scam going on. I believe in the 2nd option desu
Eli Miller
>With the points of Challenge Cup, Rika is high enough in the WS to be in the last group of the SP at Worlds So this is way she compete there. Also check out that axel save.
Medloh, >Medo fans talking this way about other skaters U lier. Stupid and ugly like your 90 000$ slut waifu Babasyan Medva fan say: >I compare Alina as a prostitute. It’s a really good job. Yes, it’s a shock content , Alina is like a prostitute. twitter.com/wm7NZ4RO8Mm6Jso/status/1099738483797696512

Just stop giving rodina attention - that's all she wants
this bitch reminds me somehow to that poem-guy. Dont remember his name, but you probably know whom I mean. He wrote love-poems to Lipnitskaya, than to Fjodorova and later she was some md in Medvedeva-group-
16 to around 23 y/o, there are a few that go past 25 and are still competitive but it's very uncommon nowadays
Jeremiah Brooks
What a beauty!

Thanks, there's a manga character with a plot developing around her early retirement from top olympic level figure skating to become a school teacher, well at least to explore her back story and some sort of conflict with her parents regards skating, typical drama
Yes, the egg/sperm shopping is real. It's used very often by gay people and older single people. You can pick your child's father/mother and choose by ethnicity, race, height, weight, education, hobbies, etc. If you want to look at the catalogs, here are a few:
You can marry within the winter sports community, but it is not so easily to get new genetics. You can have as many children as you want, but you must have them with your wife/husband. Every time you want better or new genetics, you must divorce and marry a new person.
however, I heard that the UK/EU restricted the use of egg/sperm donations. Something about human rights. It's more wild west in the United States
Carson Anderson
so people are more interested in eugenics with other people's genes than increasing their own genes?
Robert Watson
also this is kind of ignoring any effects of nurture I know a bit about livestock breeding there are bulls that have produced over 3million straws of inseminatable semen for ai you run risks of pedigree collapse especially where only simple traits are considered with eventual simplification of the gene pool, with little room I mean thoroughbred horses started from just 3 stallions
Mason Morales
>you run risks of pedigree collapse especially where only simple traits are considered Wat
Hudson White
sorry my post got a little disjointed look at the holstein cattle breed selected extremely heavily for sheer production potential of milk their fertility went to shit along with feet strength and a heap of other traits like disease resistance or calmness you'd have people buy bull semen based on a couple simple metrics meaning that maybe only a handful of bulls were used by 95% of farmers, but when they started to take moves against it they didn't have as much retained diversity for "secondary traits" as other breeds that took a more sensible whole animal approach enforcing semen straw production limits and encouraging more natural service, it's a complex field jerseys were in an even worse state because they came from an even smaller founding population just look at their inbreeding indexes of over 8%
sorry if this is a bit rambling and completely irrelevant to this discussion I'm not a very competent writer
Ayden Diaz
regarding nurture, people underestimate the importance of similarity between a child and parents personality traits.
Parker Davis
I'll leave now this is not a particularly healthy discussion for me, I tend to ramble.
Jeremiah Russell
So fuck Babasyan, Alina is a goddess, we all like granny Kostner and Kaet, Gracie is still hot af, Gattaca girl is the future. amirite guys ?
Those 3 will dominate the next 2 seasons for sure but once puberty hits they will get replace by the next lolis. The only one that I can see having some longevity is Kosto. I'm sorry she's old news, I think you are the only one that cares about her. I hope she'll have 2 clean programs in Universiade but I'm doubtful.
Angel Nelson
We're not going to make an army of figure skaters, there won't be a problem with our sport
For general human population, there isn't a single trait that is good. People will always choose white ethnicities (even Alyssa's gay father chose 5 white eggs), so black/brown genes will die out, but otherwise, there are too many good Gene traits > Intelligence > Height > Muscles
People want different personalities too Some people may want offspring with CEO aggressive personality, others may want sweet and pliable personality. Sex selection of fetuses exists too though...
Austin Reyes
I think she's back, lads.

>was going to go ice skating today >didn't sleep well, was too tired when the alarm went off and thought I wouldn't enjoy it >feel bad now m-maybe I'll go tomorrow instead I need to git gud at the salchow
Cooper Baker
How do you actually practice? Me too scared to do anything other than a literal jump in the air
Nathan Howard
I've been doing group adult lessons for close to a year, it's pretty slow progressing because the coach's attention is spread between different people and the people who come different weeks are at different levels. But in the last month or so she introduced the waltz jump (which is a half rotation and the standard babby's first jump) and I'm apparently good enough that she wants to move me onto the salchow, which is roughly just an evolution of the waltz jump.
At the very beginning you do just start by a literal jump on the spot, then she had us do a half rotation while jumping on the spot For the proper jumps I've done you start by doing it while holding the barrier, just to get a feel for turning and landing. Then doing it against the barrier without holding, but you have something to hold in case you need to. And eventually you get the confidence to do it out on the ice without assistance
In terms of how you actually practice, I just do the things that are gone through in the lessons (fwd/bwd crossovers, slalom, turns etc), but for a longer period of time and consciously trying to work on the things that get pointed out during lessons. Depending on the session I might get lucky and there'll be barely anyone there, but sometimes there'll be a lot of people which makes it hard to do circle work or anything that requires much of a clear path.
I like going in on weekdays in the middle of the day because my rink has a 9am-3pm session where it's virtually empty besides an hour or so used for school sport, but to get there at 12 means getting up at like 9 because of travel time, which is earlier than I can handle unless I'm well prepared and determined to go. I'm starting a full time job next week so that's not going to be an option anymore unfortunately
Wyatt Collins
Very cool, one of my life goals is to take some skating lessons. So far I've just gone to public skates and worked on going forward without falling. I read some other post that someone who learns to skate as an adult will never be able to do a triple jump, is that generally true? That's a bit of a downer
Julian Watson
That's what I've heard as well, or at least that it's significantly easier to develop those muscles when you're young rather than starting when you're an adult. I'm just doing it for fun rather than to compete so it doesn't really bother me tho
>Elizabet doesn’t regret to have trained in Toronto for a few years: “When I lived in Canada, I learned English, that is a big plus. Money well spent lol
Parker Wood
why does she look so asian if she's from kazahkstan? denis ten also looked very asian, rip
twitter.com/TuktikLiza/status/1101474220041740288 >This season, from start to start we complicate our programs. Free skate we wanted to start with two triple axels (one in combination). Hope that you’ll see it in competition this season. >P.S. I hope too
> Funny thing is alot of non Russian fans post here. But they have to get their kicks in now, before it's too late, because next year will be a different story with Eteris angels on the loose. plus Alina plus Zhenya plus Liza plus Sofia etc! Their great talent and depth will be especially envied by Japan Canada America etc! That my friends is undeniable.
Man don't say things like that. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but more than a half of the Russian Ladies fans here are not Russian. The posts above aren't due to people not being Russian and wanting to be mean to them. It's about people being too negative (and some wanting to get their kicks in now :D).

All Russians are doppers you moran

The sun is setting on Eatery. Enjoy it while you can.
Are we breaking character here? After that SP at RusNats her actually going to Worlds was the last thing I expected, so I'm not even that nervous anymore.
lol, being that invested into skater that will last few seasons tops (the moment she loses 3A she is done), not that any other current skater will last longer, Russian ones esp.
Ethan Hill
I'm affraid russian jornos and the feds will crash Alina. They really want to milk that Zagi vs Medo theme. Alina's grandma has to cut of her from the internet. Fast.
Russians and Koreans dropping out of school, meanwhile, American skaters are getting PhDs
> Rachael Flatt Embarks on Doctoral Program
In early August, 2010 U.S. champion and Olympian Rachael Flatt and boyfriend Eric Iwashita packed up their belongings and hit the road with their dog Jax. Their cross-country journey took them from Northern California to North Carolina, where Flatt is now pursuing a doctorate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Flatt, 26, a three-time World competitor and 2008 World Junior champion, is studying under Dr. Cynthia M. Bulik, distinguished professor of eating disorders and founding director of the UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders.
After graduating from Stanford University in 2015 with a major in biology and a minor in psychology, Flatt worked at Dr. Barr Taylor's research laboratory, which does a lot of work involving eating disorders using digital mental health tools.
"We were providing screening and tailored prevention and intervention programs for folks who were either at risk of developing an eating disorder or were currently demonstrating symptoms of an eating disorder," she said. "It was all online and all app-based, which was super cool. We screened over 5,000 female college students."
Flatt explained there obviously isn't enough face-to-face time with therapists to serve all the people in need, so the research includes virtual reality and even a chatbot company to figure out cost-effective and accessible options.
"I felt a strong sense of urgency to go back to school and get my Ph.D. in clinical psychology so that I can continue doing that work and hopefully bring some of the knowledge that I have to athletes," Flatt said.
>be murican >want to get ph d >need to do lot of research >can't choose topic >too many different topics, its getting overwhelming >decide to research in the thing you know best >"Flatt worked at Dr. Barr Taylor's research laboratory, which does a lot of work involving eating"
Cheap, dirty shithole with horrible arcitecture and bad ecology. Huge transport hub and industrial center with all the good things like hobos, gypsies, narcos, chavs/gopniks, tajiks and so on. Typical russian life outside of Moscow.
fibula and ligament/lower leg injury makes sense. She wore a massive pad on her left leg at junior nationals. Probably been bugging her for a while.

Netflix has some new docuseries about sports flops. Features Surya Bonaly. Holy fuck, does she really have a chip on her shoulder after all these years? 5x Euro champ, 3x World silver but muh racist judges.

> Fan Fest Rules Have Been Updated
The Fan Fest (FF) is a place for fans to celebrate and praise their favorite skaters. Do not bash other skaters in a FF. As always, be respectful to each other's threads when posting. Keep in mind that even fans of the same skater may hold a diverse array of viewpoints and thoughts. Do not troll or "police" fans in the FF to create discord. Keep discussions in the respective threads and do not bring up other skaters with the intent to bash, debate, critique, and/or compare negatively

Everyone in this thread is seething for one reason or another. Burgers are seething because they aren't white. (and projecting into everyone else) Romania is seething at Rika and Med. Russians are seething at eachother. I'm seething because my country is once again irrelevant. Oz may be the only chill person here.
idk what you're trying to say but it sounds like i can pay 90 grand and fuck this little piece so im interested
