ON THE RIVER WHERE THEY USED TO BUILD THE BOATS

What happened now?

Did they get relegated again?

SUNN'ER LAN

no, they won

for me it's the guy that tries to fight chris coleman on episode 7

For me it's laughing at lower middle class people being upset over a game

Fuck Geordies

Simple as

for me it's the based chad getting paid 70k a week to sit around and not play

for me it's the david brent-like chairman

Enjoyable thread
Enjoyable documentary
Enjoyable club

For me it’s the scout that recommended ibrahimovic

for me its the cooking staff whose souls wither away at the end of the season

>not getting relegated for the netflix bennies

For me it's Leanne

Hope she didn't get fired during the restructuring

Are you trying to imply they just slipped or something? They're still 3rd in the league and won their last game 2-0.

For me it's Darron Gibson criticizing his own teammates professionalism before plowing into six cars while drink driving.

Is the doc worth watching or is it another gift shop video like the man city amazon one?

OH NO NO NO BAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>people talking about my team on Yea Forums
Please be gentle, lads

How is it living in Sunderland (If your even from there)?

Nah the Sunderland documentary is really good, it mostly focuses on the back room staff and watching their souls get crushed and then coming to terms with the prospect of losing their jobs because of relegation.

BAIN?

Crashing the club with no survivors

For me its the mental breakdown of Jonny Williams being recorded in front of our eyes.

for me, it was the poortherners seething about how economically depressed their shit hole is and crying about how the football team previously gave them hope

Why would someone from outside of Sunderland ever punish themselves like that?

for me it's chanting "No noise from the Netflix boys" when you're winning against Sunderland

Looking forward the the regular derby matches against Hartlepool and Spennymoor in a few seasons time.

for me, it's the grotesque absurdity of football in the era of globalisation

For me it's the scouts that pass on that Scunthorpe player for wearing gloves, only for Derby to sign him this season and for him to be one of their best players

what the fuck is it with boomers and gloves

Tbh, gloves and short sleeves winds me up, I just can't get my head around that at all
Gloves and long sleeves is reasonable, though

gloves and short sleeves is /fa/ as fuck

Sunderland passed on Holmes cause he wore gloves?

In some clubs the captain decides if they are all wearing long sleeves or short sleeves, I know Arsenal did it for ages but they stopped a couple of seasons ago

My dad said he almost cried watching this.

Pretty much, they also said "there's better out there," but I think it was the gloves that was the prime motivator, they seemed rather annoyed about it

That was a funny mockumentary. Hope season 2 comes soon

imagine being this mad at both amsterdam and newcastle for having a ferry

At how thick and obsessively invested northerners are about a game? It is pretty sad

Ah... a fellow intellectual gentlesir

fuck off you blonde poofter

you seem quite upset

says it all really

Just what? 1 more win and they'll be in the automatic promotion zone. Luton and Barnsley have been dropping points lately too.

Have you been to the Galleries recently?
I’m an American, and i’ve been there.

For me it's going from this: twitter.com/alexxnufc/status/975754023306518528

to launching a pitch invasion because they drew 2-2 with Walsall: twitter.com/half_biscuit/status/1066373240761851907?s=09

>Luton and Barnsley have been dropping points lately too.
>Luton won 6 out of last 7
Barnsley could have been better last couple of matches but it's portsmouth who have been dropping the points recently

It's great, I watched it over xmas break with my brothers and dad. My little brother and dad don't even watch soccer, but even they were hooked because of the narrative and feels.

It's decent, but there is some right cringe moments with sub-20 IQ fans and there's a bit in a church where they pray for the future of Sunderland AFC
it's good in that it doesn't have a narrative and let's you decide for yourself

whats some more football doc kino

>this is someone's dad

Lower league brings you the kino feels

Doncaster Rovers have a great from the 90s.

youtube.com/watch?v=gBRGkxdKhaE

yeah, had seen the impossible job one before the podcast but not the rest of them

steve bruce episodes are the funniest
need another series desu

ok this is epic

Attached: netflix.png (477x392, 146K)

Just good marketing desu, bound to get a bit more interest than just calling them last season's kits

for me it's jack rodwell refusing to fuck off and draining their shitty budget for months

BABY LET HER GO SLOWLY

Based gegenpressing will ensure victory
