This. The east hasnt been the overall stronger conference since the mid 90s. The early 2000s had the lakers/spurs/kings (and the kg twolves to a lesser extent) dominating the league, mid and late 2000s had the spurs/suns/lakers dominating the league. The east produces maybe one team a year that is on par with the top 4 teams in the west, and a whole lot of garbage that would struggle to make an 8 seed out west. It's been this way since LeBron came into the league. He's a noob basher and now that he's playing in the west with the big boys for 65+% of the season he's getting shit on.
