Most goals ever scored in an EPL season is 32, done once

>most goals ever scored in an EPL season is 32, done once
>Messi is on pace to surpass that for the 7th time
hmmm

>aspas can't score a goal in epl
>best striker in lel liga

>top goalscorers in England are Serie A and La Liga reject

>tf
>tp

Does my flag make my statistics wrong?

Ye

Obviously this is a retarded thread and OP is unironally autistic, but I do wonder how many goals would Messi have scored in the epl if he was playing for united during the 11/12 season when he scored 50 in la liga. I reckon 42.

my nan could score a goal per game too if she played striker at Barca

MESSI MESSI MESSI MESSI MESSI

So why can't Suarez?

because you are a fucking idiot, where wasmessi against roma?

You tell me

Because messsii is hogging all the goals

absolute state of the english plumber league

Wrong

but he also leads the team in assists

Suarez is a fat boomer

That's it....that's your fucking comeback? How's it feel to be a dick sucking contrarian expat faggot?

>h2h standing
yikes

That's not how you use head 2 head. Head 2 head would be comparing players by how many goals they've scored against each other's teams

>leliga defending

>most goals ever scored in an English top flight league season is 60, done once
>Messi is yet to surpass that
ftfy

32 in epl is like 42 in la liga

How many did Coutinho score for Liverpool?

36 in 5 years

this kiwi is a definite contender for most clueless poster of all time

Why do you guys give him attention is beyond me. Why the fuck would anyone listen to new zeland on football? It's like me trying to have a say on ice hockey. Absolutely pathetic.

>Salah sets EPL all time record of goals with 32
>can only menage 15 at most in Serie A
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

>Messi is about to score 0 epl goals for the 18th consecutive season of his senior career.

Overrated trash.

Half of Messi's and Farsa's goals in Lelloliga count as referee's goal asistances to compensate for the oppression of Catalonia.

How many does he have with Argentina or in the CL?

There you go.

Are you implying serie a is even close to the epl in talent?

Literally like 8 liverpool rejects are starters in Italy

Why are Moordrid shitskins this prone to seething over Messi?

0.26 per game for Liverpool, 0.31 per game for Barca

messi would score 40+ at least 3 times in epl

Messi is top scorer of the argentina national team with 65 goals, second is batistuta with 54

>ass roma

>123 apps compared to Batistuta's 78

Also Batistuta scored 10 in 12 at the WC, which is really the only record that matters at NT level

Suarez scored 40 in la liga...

.31 goals per game for Barca and people are calling him a flop
.26 goals per game for Liverpool and there were freakouts about him possibly leaving every transfer window

Messi doesn't play as a striker, he plays as a midfielder for Argentina.

La Liga is just easier to score in

If we look at the time frame from when the PL started (1992) 5 players have scored 32 or more goals in a single La Liga season.

Maybe because is more than goals?

>highest scoring
>10-2
yikes what a mess

lol guy

man city clearly showing how easy it is to score in epl, if you can keep the ball and pass the ball

Weird midfield you playin son

I LIKE TO SUCK MY TEAM DRY.

Then why do Spanish teams do so much better than English teams in UEFA competitions?

Imagine thinking Messi could score at the same rate or better in EPL. You'd have to be completely retarded

Hasn’t he scored against every epl team he’s been against except for Liverpool?

haha what

even azzard can score 50+ goals in laliga

How can Messi surpass it if he has scored 0 EPL goals?

>Messi is only the top Argentinian if you include friendlies. Without them Gabriel Batistua is the top scorer with 40 goals in 56 games with a ratio of 0.71 goals per game. Messi meanwhile only has 35 in 85 games for a ratio of 0.41.
>In total, Messi has just 6 world cup goals in 19 games

Attached: Pepe.jpg (251x242, 15K)

Messi has scored 22 goals in 29 games against English teams in the CL...and that's against the very best the PL has to offer - Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs

imagine if he could statpad against Shitterton Albion or East Bongwitch

Don't forget that England has two cup competitions instead of one, and stars regularly play against lower division teams in those cups, whereas Messi only ever plays in the Copa del Rey against top division teams, and even then not every game

>imagine if he could statpad against Shitterton Albion or East Bongwitch
It don't work like that though. Messi couldn't score against Lyon despite the chances. Or not a single goal in WC knockouts 4 times in a row. Football games are situational

english teams are knackered from playing competitive matches each week

Maybe they should use their extra revenue on squad depth

proof that dixie dean > messi

Maybe. And maybe goals are more valuable in the EPL because they're rarer.

If Messi played in the EPL with Barcelona I would agree with you. But he'd be playing for Man City or something, who isn't as good as Barca. I'd can see him getting 40 goals in his best season, not 50.

Actually Messi would dominate even more when playing in current Man City team with Pep as a coach and Aguero banging in hattricks every other week.

>2.66 goals per game since 2004-05 versus 2.71
Yeah it's just so much easier to score

Scoring against farmers in lel liga is easier.

think of all the players that have played in the premier league. what was the max goals in one season?
what was the max goals in one season in la liga in that same time period?

What a stupid argument. Ronaldo and Messi are the two greatest goalscorers of all time; are you saying that just because they scored more than average strikers like Salah that the league is that much weaker? Salah was a nobody before signing for Liverpool and then he broke the record in his first season. What does that say?

What a coincidence that at the same time we have 3 strikers (Messi, Cristiano, Suarez) that can go into the 40s
It can't be they are having an easier time to score... No...
It can't be because they're playing in teams that are build around them and overstacked... No...

it says salah is a good player who dominated the league like no one has before and he only managed 32 goals. he was scoring in the champions league too.
la liga is a higher quality league than the epl. basically 2 things make it easier to score more goals in la liga. 1. la liga is more about passing and dribbling than tackling and long balls in the epl. 2. the gap between real and barca and the rest of the league is greater than the gap between the top epl teams and the rest of the league.

This

Different Leagues are different, Duh. Consider that the EPL is vastly more physical and that a lot of the penalties and fouls that Messi scores from wouldn't have been called. The same goes for all Leagues in Europe. I'm not saying Messi couldn't be the top scorer in England but he certainly wouldn't be able to match the volume of goals scored in La Liga. That's not to say that La Liga is a worse league but it's certainly easier to score there because we can compare Cristiano's numbers in the EPL and La Liga since he was top scorer in both countries; 40, 31, and 48 goals when he was top scorer in La Liga and 31 goals in England.

Or maybe, those players are some of the greatest goalscorers of all time. You're probably the type of guy who sucks R9 cock and believes he is the greatest despite his goal numbers being embarrassing compared to the great players of today

>It's easier to score in La Liga because it isn't about tackling
So I guess the most difficult league to score in is Ligue 1?

Attached: Stats.png (499x543, 35K)

Suarez unironically should've scored 40+ in 13/14.

The greatest goalscorer of all time, Messi, can only score 6 goals in the WC less even than Maradona that wasn't even a striker?
Messi 6/19 (0.32)
Maradona 8/21 (0.38)

For comparison fatnaldo scored 15 goals in 19 games + actually won the fucking thing and this after an injury.

The world cup is 7 games that happens every 4 years. You're being asked to play in a new system with a new coach with new team mates in a new country. It's a crapshot

It's the same for everyone plus if you're the goat you should be able to show your might in a two-time champion NT. Basically Messi fans say that he can only shine when everything is all beautiful for him. He can't do anything in difficult conditions. You know things that make someone GREAT...

Attached: messi.jpg (887x1992, 1.39M)

Just because they are a 2 times winner NT doesnt mean they are good now. Uruguay won it 4 times and are still a small team.

Argentina is still good.

So is Klose the GOAT instead?

How many of those were scored in England though?

Face it, he's a comfort zone babby

Higuain, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Aguero, Salah... were absolute stars of their respective leagues.

The point is the discrepancy of when he is playing in his club and when he is playing in his NT. Suddenly the greatest goalscorer of all time doesn't look all that great. I mean he is the guy fucking everyone up in his club and then he looks mortal in the NT. This all to support my point that it's easier to score in la liga.

And what about Shearer? All time goal scorer for the EPL; where's his world cup goals?

Shearer only played in one WC due to England missing out in 94 and him retiring from the NT in 2000. He won the Euro 96 golden boot though

And what about Aguero, or Henry, or Ruud Van Nistelrooy, or Drogba, or Suarez? Have you not noticed that the majority of top goal scorers in the world cup are mostly average strikers when it comes to their club career? Klose, Fontaine, Klinsmann, Kocsis, Rahn, Lineker, Cubillas, Thomas Muller, Lato etc

Talk about moving goalposts.

Except most of those were world class at club level too. And you conveniently leave out Ronaldo, Pele, G. Muller, Batistuta, Eusebio, Villa, Baggio etc.

Only Ronaldo could be considered on the same level as the guys I listed

messhit would struggle to break 20 a season in the PL

Yep, no way he'd score more than based Lukaku
