I simply can't understand this. How can we go from one generation of romario, ronaldinho, ronaldo, kaká, Adriano, r. carlos, bebeto, cafu, rivaldo... to guys like G. Jesus and Paulinho?
What the fuck happened? We always had world class players and out of nowhere we have these literal shit players. Did we copy Europeans too much?
No faggot European teams just got better. Grow up fake boomer.
Nathan Brooks
>hurr durr hurr durr I'm talking about individual quality, you retard angloid. You can't tell these guys are nowhere fucking close to the guys I mentioned?
Dominic Russell
EUROPEAN TEAMS GOT BETTER. This something tou monkeys will never learn. You always look at yourself and always think you're the best in the world and don't pay attention around you. That's arrogance. I agree that those players you mentioned were better but right now brazil isn't just as strong as it was.
John Brown
look at the birth rate of Brazil when those great players were born, and look at its birth rate now.
Back then women had more children, and children had less distractions, so exclusively played football. Now less kids are born
Alexander Morris
They all keep going to China at 23 instead of actually trying
Jackson Harris
cuz european teams have invested heavily in football, they are no longer impressed by our football
Cooper Torres
>Obesity in Brazil is a growing health concern. 52.6 percent of men and 44.7 percent of women in Brazil are overweight. 35% of Brazilians are obese in 2018.
>brasilialards
Carter Morales
>EUROPEAN TEAMS GOT BETTER Fucking irrelevant. Their quality is independent of European teams. If you can't tell that those guys are way way waaaaay inferior to the first guys I mentioned and that Europe's quality is irrelevant to what I'm saying then you don't know shit. You could notice this by watching them them playing against Indonesia.
Henry Peterson
because brazilians aren't humans and don't have the intelligence to keep up with humans
>used to have player like Bergkamp, van Nistelrooji, Robben, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Van Basten, Cruijff, Gullit, etc. >Now have to watch the likes of Promes, Depay, Babel, Blind, Vilhena, de Roon, Strootman, Kluivert
I want to go back, lads, I want to actually enjoy seeing my national team play.
and the kids who are born, may choose to be obsessed with videogames or youtubers or another sport instead of football.
Europeans have gotten a lot worse. Italy used to produce a lot of great Italian players, now they don't do it anymore and failed to qualify to the world cup. France, the last WC winners, also wouldnt have qualified to the World Cup with an ethnic French team. The UK can't field a full English team with players like Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Beckham etc anymore.
Europe has the same problem Argentina and Brazil have. Less kids than before because of declining birth rate, and kids play less football than before because of the internet, videogames and other new hobbies. But they can compensate with immigrants from Africa and the middle east, and they have money for scouting promising youngster and pay for their career, kind of similar to what former Soviet Block countries did to perform great at the Olympics, but now in capitalism. Argentina and Brazil can't do that.
Nathan Ortiz
Okay so you're telling me that if you had the same squad as 2002 you would win 2014 and 2018 world cup?
Samuel Anderson
This maybe, they get financially independent much easier now and stop trying sooner.
Isaac Martinez
>tf >tp
Ayden Johnson
>Fucking irrelevant Yes, Brazil is now.
Jason Phillips
Still find it strange that Babel is a regular starting winger for the Netherlands when he wasn't even in the squad all that regularly when he was younger
Bentley Nelson
main motivation for players then: to be the best in the world and to win trophies main motivation for players now: expensive cars, instagram whores, rap albums, clothing lines
Jacob Stewart
>Europeans have gotten a lot worse. >Italy used to produce a lot of great Italian players, now they don't do it anymore and failed to qualify to the world cup. >France, the last WC winners, also wouldnt have qualified to the World Cup with an ethnic French team. >The UK can't field a full English team with players like Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Beckham etc anymore. Most retarded thing I've seen today.
Parker Ramirez
Should have mentioned Kluivert in both lists 2bh. Also we are getting back on track again with lots of talent again. Let's see how they develop.
John Rivera
He got better while the NT got worse, not that hard. He works his ass off playing for >us now.
Josiah Torres
Yeah it's mind boggling how fucking deep we have fallen
Ryder Ortiz
It's a bit like us dragging Ashley Young in to play left-back at the World Cup, sure they probably deserve it on form and ability compared to their rivals for that spot, but it's just strange to see
Kevin Sanders
You along with Portugal are rising in football don't worry
>fuck the other teams, we ain't playing against anybody rite?
Grayson Edwards
Only certain ones, most didn't, especially your shithole
Logan Baker
Portugal is getting better
Charles Ramirez
>the birth rate faggot is back Look, m8 in countries where there's a great football infrastructure, it doesn't matter. Brazil wasn't far from winning the world cup and they're still by far the best CONMEBOL national team. If they don't win next year, we might have a different conversation.
Also, 9s are fucked these days. At top tier football, every team knows to choke out strikers. That's why many good teams have loaded midfields now, it doesn't matter who's up front if you don't have good service for them.
Asher Brooks
Agreed but it's like you say he deserves it most right now, he even went to play for fulham to stay in the picture.
Anthony Myers
>have best no9 in the world >play Jesus instead
Easton Roberts
Brazil 2002 was kino, best national team I've seen
Julian Sullivan
I won't even fall for it because this has to be bait. I refuse to believe you people think that G. Jesus is on the same level as Ronaldo but we aren't seeing it because Europe got better. It has to be bait
Xavier Myers
2002 Brazil would utterly trash the competition in 2014 and 2018. What the fuck are you on about?
I don't know if they would win but they would have a better chance than this fucking team. Look at this team. There's no way you think this team is comparable to the 2002 one
>How can we go from one generation of romario, ronaldinho, ronaldo, kaká, Adriano, r. carlos, bebeto, cafu, rivaldo... to guys like G. Jesus and Paulinho? Too much internet, video games and shit nowadays. Back in the day all of those players you mentioned lived and breathed football.
The quality in football has gone severely down everywhere but Europeans have always been more diligent hence why they still can produce some good talent even in this age of laziness.
South American players(especially Brazilians and Argies) have always been about raw passion...passion that has now been destroyed because Brazilian youth have more options for entertainment now so they can't be that dedicated to football as players generations ago were. Couple that with the fact that Brazilians are not as diligent as Europeans(they love to party and even back then most BR players' career were done by 30) and it's not hard to see why the new generation is so shit.
Colton Taylor
>Old players Majority are white >New players Majority are nigs
Owen Russell
They would definitely win. Ronaldo and Rivaldo would utterly rape any team in 2014/2018.
Luis Reyes
says the English whose national team lost on purpose to Belgium just to avoid facing Brazil
Parker Barnes
>american >complaning about obesity
hehehehe
Noah Thompson
Marcelo is a literal god and nerman is nerman but still one of the most special players in it world. Qtinho is in a major funk but when he's good he's amazing too. Douglas Costa and Willian bring flair too. There's still plenty of the Brazil DNA there, I think you just gotta accept that that generation was supremely gifted and we'll never see anything like it again
Brandon Rivera
Based
Bentley Brooks
He's completely right though. Italy doesn't produce nearly as much good talent as it used to France was filled with niggers, with only Griezmann, Giroud, the LB and Lloris being white England was filled with niggers and the only English players I remember were Vardy, Kane, Pickford, Maguire.
Austin Flores
>Marcelo is a literal god He never impresses for Brazil.
Neymar is a meme.
Brody Garcia
>Douglas Costa Now there's a player I actually rate. They should have used him more in last WC.
Matthew Bailey
it's both they got better and we got worse
Cooper Moore
>What the fuck happened? You wasted billions $$$ and billions $$$ on the World Cup and the Olympics. You could have reinforced your sport programs, built universities, hospitals, schools, libraries, infrastructure, secured a future for your country...but instead you sacrificed your future and your children's future and their children's future for a couple of sports festivals for rich foreigners that were a few weeks long.
Choices have consequences.
Jordan Wright
>France, the last WC winners, also wouldnt have qualified to the World Cup with an ethnic French team. How many of the French team were born outside France? Wasn't it...one(1)?
Leo Cruz
>France, the last WC winners, also wouldnt have qualified to the World Cup with an ethnic French team.
Tbf how many of the 98-2000 team were ethnically French? It probably had the same ratio as the current French team
Brayden Mitchell
Those players were born in france you idiot. It's their players just because they're black doesn't change anything. Italy isn't the whole europe is it? And what abour England?
He isn't right at all. Also
Yikes
Wyatt Taylor
Why post this cringe shit? The world cup was in 2014. I didn't know that when the we decided to host the world cup, players who were already in their 20s and 30s retroactively got worse. Fucking retard.
Kevin King
>Those players were born in france That still doesn't make them French. They're Africans.
James Collins
We have more billions. Our GDP is higher than Canada's
Hudson Jenkins
Just look at the flag and move on.
Henry Diaz
They were born in france therefore they are french. And you tend to look down on that filthy leaf when you're even worse? Kys
Charles Bennett
>They were born in france therefore they are french. No that's not how it works for an normal non-brainwashed person. The fact of the matter is they're not even European so they cannot be French.
France NT has always had niggers and players with non-European origins but at the very least their teams in the past were dominated by European(if not French i.e Michel Platini) players.
Now France NT is dominated by Africans/Non-Europeans.
Gabriel King
We actually got richer since our last world cup win. We should be producing better players
Okay okay if that's your logic hear me out. Brazil never never won those world cups then. More than 90% of Brazil population are descendents from Africa and some mixed with British people who went to America. They are not native Americans. Thereford the world cups they won belong to both africa and England. Glad to know we can agree on that. Brazil actually isn't a WC champion.
Charles Wilson
Well, tons of Brazilian legends became legends due to need of escaping poverty.
Also, while Brazil got richer don't you guys still have massive corruption going on?
Jonathan Jackson
>don't you guys still have massive corruption going on? yes. the biggest ones
Jayden Bell
Brazil is not a real nationality. Brazil, Argentina and all of these South American countries are basically fake made-up countries like Switzerland and the USA. They don't even speak a unique language, they all speak either Portuguese or Spanish in South America. English in the US and the Swiss are basically a mix of French, Italians and Germans. They're on their own special category.
You can't compare them to ancient countries/ehtnicities like England, France, Italy.
Noah Scott
>Brazilian legends You mean Brittish-Moor-African legends
Nicholas Kelly
Brazil is a made-up country so it doesn't matter see
Jack Robinson
Your shit generation is almost over. The next golden generation will peak in a couple of years Arthur, Vinicius, Militao, Paulinho (Leverkusen)
Lucas Cox
Every country is a made up country. Following your logic.
Nathan Rivera
they're french citizens, national teams are about citizenship
Thomas Diaz
forgot Paqueta too
Eli Wilson
brazils nt is representative of its actual population france nt isnt thats it
Kevin Taylor
Why? They are both rulled by outsiders.
Jonathan Jones
you must be the thickest cunt on the british isles, logic doesnt work like that
Daniel Bailey
it isn't for brazil, brazil has a big chunk of "white" people, where are they in the NT? team represent the lower class of countries, if your lowerclass is athletic race then you will see them in your NT
Blake Rodriguez
Thanks for telling ne why you disagree retard
Aaron Peterson
2002 Brazil had like 6 geniuses in the team
Nathaniel Walker
yeah but its usually not the government who drafts the national teams, its formed from the best players until you start focusing on the minority of pacey blacks to build a team instead of relying on all your native talent. hell even hungary had a brazilian right back in the national team for some fucking reason.
Christopher Lopez
i have a shoe, you have a shoe, since we both have shoes they are both nike right?
Cameron James
Have you been reading the thread? Those black french players were born in France and started playing in France, they are french athletes. How is that hard to understand?
That's a dumb analogy considering this topic. That user said brazil, argentina etc are made up countries. What countries aren't made up then?
what shoes arent nike? and you can purposefully select players who are 1 generation into france and all black while you could make a good team who relies on footballing skills not pace from your actual population
David Hill
what's the whitest region of France?
Carson Foster
Thank you for not only not answering my question but also agreeing with me. >what shoes aren't nike? They are still shoes right? The same as "made up countries" are countries, they are not the same but they are still countries. Doesn't matter how they came to be.
And what pace? Are you telling me that Dembele, Mbappe etc don't have any skill besides pace? Watch more football, in fact lurk for 2 more years before posting. Like I said they were born in france, therefore they are french players.
Joseph Reed
>France, the last WC winners, also wouldnt have qualified to the World Cup with an ethnic French team. Kind of tough to tell since French amateurs are practically forced to go play in neighboring countries if they want an honest shot. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy, much like the American collegiate football system that deliberately and systematically discriminates and excludes White players to swell D1 teams with blacks.
Julian Harris
>Those black french players were born in France A dog born in a stable isn't a horse.
John Flores
JESUS FUCKIN CHRSIT WAS BORN INTHE STABLE THAT DONT MAKE HIM A HORSE RETARD
Jace Garcia
I never said black people born in europe are white did I? Fucking idiot
Daniel Powell
argentina has the same problem too.
Aiden Sullivan
SeeLearn how to make analogy you fucking rat

Is a black horse born in a stable with white horses not a horse? Don't confuse nationality with ethnicity.

Owen Garcia
>this Albanian with serious nostalgia goggles that thinks every footballer who came to promenance after 2005 is utter shit and that all footballers before these ones were gods cringe
>Dat crime rate >Increasing access to “middle class” materials like computers and Playstation for all classes
Video Games, TV and Shitposting killed it. In Western Europe and America, even in ghettos it’s relatively safe.
The reason there are so many africans and arabs on NTs in the West is because they were most likely to have conservative parenting that restricted video games for physical activity.
Robert Bell
>Don't confuse nationality with ethnicity. The nation is the race and always has been. That's why your mutt, FAILING international order refers to itself as post-national. Like it matters, since you've FAILED and will be swallowed up by imperial Eurasia.
Noah Martinez
Interesting. By these guys' logic one of the most famous French writers isn't french
>another failed muttnigger running his failing mouth
Jason Miller
Underrated. Firminho isn’t the best 9 in the world but holy kek playing Jesus over him in the WC last year was brainlet tier.
It’s like oh look here’s le pacey forward fuck everything else and treat it liek FIFA19
Daniel Peterson
Please stop posting this overrated turbo slut
Henry Phillips
nobody takes you seriously you're aware of that right?
Angel Johnson
According to this retard the most important russian writer isn't Russian because he was mixed >Russian poet, playwright, and novelist of the Romantic era[2] who is considered by many to be the greatest Russian poet[3][4][5][6] and the founder of modern Russian literature.[7][8]
>Pushkin's great-grandfather, was Abram Petrovich Gannibal (1696–1781), an African page kidnapped to Constantinople as a gift to the Ottoman Sultan

When I was a wee lad they said that Brazil is going to be kangz forever. After that they said the same thing about Spain.
Easton Reyes
>kind of similar to what former Soviet Block countries did to perform great at the Olympics Lmao, birth rate in them countries was higher and way more stable. No need for niggers
Luke Butler
brainlet, the teams that were good are still good in reality everybody got worse
Brandon Peterson
No, you got worse. Doesn't the 7-1 remind you that you are no longer a threat?
Oliver Adams
I like how the Ameribrainlets, Hungbarians and Albanogs have the same retarded conception of nationhood.
Adam Anderson
that makes no sense at all. dogs and horses are different species
Juan Morales
Why do you people talk like squads are static? The squad isn't the same anymore. Even with the 7-1 we still ended in fourth place while England was eliminated in the group stage and that team was fucking garbage.
Anthony Perez
england had rooney beckham rio scholes and now their stars are fucking kane and rashford spain had xavi iniesta casillas puyol and now they have degea and diego costa wont even start with italy germany had kahn ballack klose lahm now they have muller only country that managed to keep some stars was france yeah and that same germany struggled agaisnt mexico and fucking korea, you can go back to /int/ with the stupid country roleplay shit
Luis Brooks
>stupid country roleplay shit kek what does that even mean?
Owen Miller
I don't even care about england lel. >Inb4 you say mohammed I'm portuguese
Tyler Miller
same with portugal they had deco, eusebio figo and prime ronaldo now the person who scored the most important goal in portuguese history was fucking eder everybody got worse its a fact
Christopher Thomas
same happened with the netherlandsargentina too will soon happen to chile and urugay
Christian Anderson
They would unironicallt win 1966 WC if they hadn't been robbed.
And whats wrong with being eder scoring the goal? Dude made everyone in Portugal shut up. And I wouldn't say everybody got worse, I would say other teams just got better
Gavin Morgan
that portuguese team was horrible, ronaldo was injured and the to be world cup winners struggled against eder and fucking quaresma
Xavier Bennett
Quaresma is good only brainlets think otherwise. And eder was a sub while most of the french played 100+ minutes
Charles Gutierrez
yeah a sub for superstar player nani portugal didnt get better, everybody just got worse
Isaac Gomez
He subbed renato sanches dumbfuck And Portugal was the better team in prolongation
Jackson Garcia
that is not what I mean. What I meant is the normal thing used to be kids spontaneously playing football because they enjoy it, and the ones that proved talented may audition themselves for clubs and have careers, while now the recruiting of youngsters has almost become science.
>this meme The Portuguese team was playing good football early on. Oddly enough, Ronaldo was fucking up the team’s flow. Then there was the Austria game where he missed the penalty kick. After that, what happened was...strange
Santos protected Ronaldo’s ego by playing along with what the media was saying. You know, “Portugal is playing ugly football” - even though they were attacking in the group stage. Had they needed a win over Hungary, the later minutes of that game would have gone very differently. After that, they played more defensively, but you still needed a lot of skill and speed to pull off the counters that Portugal did.
Grayson Long
>Unironically comparing the Old World with the New World (You)
Jaxson Martinez
I don't think we're currently that bad, we're just not that great anymore. 2022 will virtually be our best chance to win something anytime soon, our defense is old and it has been ages since I last saw a good young cb hue
Ryder Gomez
>national teams are about citizenship No they aren't. If they were then why aren't they called Citizen Teams?

Nathan Williams
>brazil has a big chunk of "white" people, where are they in the NT? They have an even bigger chunk of brown people. And obviously football is more popular among poor brown people hence why probably more of Brazil's football legends tend to be brown/black.
Brandon Hernandez
>they are french athletes. They are not french. They're african, period.
Connor Wilson
The only thing african about them is their race. They grew up in france, speak french, were educated in france, grew up with french culture around them, watched french tv, ate french food, listened to french music, learned to play football in france, etc..
Henry Walker
>They would unironicallt win 1966 WC if they hadn't been robbed. If England didn't refball the whole tournament Pele would have 4 world cups.
Remember that Portugal were absolute cancer against Brazil and kicked the shit out of Pele so much with the ref turning a blind eye the whole match that Pele wanted to retire from International Football after that match.
Ethan Gomez
Why waste your time engaging in a discussion with a poltard?
Hudson Richardson
Quaresma unironically was the 2nd most important player for Portugal(after Eder). His meme magic level was off the charts.
Adrian Carter
>The only thing african about them is their race. >Genetics don't matter Do you realize how stupid you sound?
Nathan Cruz
You have one of the quickest, precise, passing geniuses of all time.
Yes, I'm a poltard for posting common sense. Fact is actual French people do not think of black people as French and they never will.
Carter James
>genetics Explain to me this logically then: Why can Normans be french but Africans can't? They were originally vikings that settled in France. You can genetically tell if someone is from scandinavia
Blake Baker
>good young CB hue has there ever been one? Lucio was good but not much else
Liam Gray
>an albanian poltard cringe >Fact is How do you know that? Are you French? Do you live in France? No? then stfu, albanian poltard.
Gabriel Gray
we consider them french citizens if they are french citizens. what you don't understand is that we french people and blacks in france make the distinction between ethnicity and citizenship, they recognize themselves and are recognized as french citizens with a foreign origin. nobody is stupid enough to believe they are gauls.
Daniel Mitchell
>They were originally vikings that settled in France. But that's wrong. Normans were a mix of Franks, Romans and Vikings.
Also see Even if they were purely vikings(which they weren't) at least they're Europeans while Africans aren't.
Lincoln Moore
>Norman, member of those Vikings, or Norsemen, who settled in northern France (or the Frankish kingdom), together with their descendants.
>The Normans (from Nortmanni: “Northmen”) were originally pagan barbarian pirates from Denmark, Norway, and Iceland who began to make destructive plundering raids on European coastal settlements in the 8th century.
>uring the later 9th century their raids on the northern and western coastlands of France grew in scale and frequency, and the Vikings had secured a permanent foothold on Frankish soil in the valley of the lower Seine River by about 900.
>A Viking named Rollo, who had already won a reputation as a great leader of Viking raiders in Scotland and Ireland, soon emerged as the outstanding personality among the new settlers. In 911 the Frankish king Charles III the Simple made the Treaty of St. Clair-sur-Epte with Rollo, ceding him the land around the mouth of the Seine and what is now the city of Rouen.
Nobody is talking about citizenship. It's called a National Team not a Citizen Team.
Camden Richardson
Nationality = citizenship retard since the beginning national teams were always about citizenship and never about ethnicity. you absolute tool. consider yourself happy you get to be taught by me.
Isaiah Walker
Except 1) A bunch of them were mixed with the native Franks and Gallo-Romans eventually 2) Where is Denmark, Iceland, Norway located? Oh, that's right...it's Europe.
Thanks for playing.
Jayden Williams
Not to mention that many countries have sons of immigrants. That’s just a fact. Albanian Milan autist is just sperging out over nothing
Jace Hill
This has to be your most retarded post yet. What matters is the rules and they let citizens play. It's not based on ethnicity. That's why you see BRs that were born here playing in other teams like for example Costa playing for spain and jorginho playing for italy and many others
Oliver Morris
>Nationality = citizenship Nope.
Robert Williams
You focused too much on meme players who can do stepovers and tricks which resulted in 7-1, from which Brazil will never mentally recover.
1) so what you're saying is that if blacks mix with then there's no problem? 2) So what if it's located in Europe? They are of a different ethnicity. You said genetics. You can do a genetic test and determine that someone has scandinavia ancestry so there's a difference.
Also they had a different culture, different language and different ethnicity. You can't explain why they can become french without going like "because I like them but I don't like the other ones" kek
Isaac Green
I'm not talking about football(where International Football is like Club Football at this point). I'm talking about real life.
You mentioned Diego Costa. Diego Costa plays for Spain but he will never be considered a Spaniard. Same with the fullback who plays for Russia.
Gavin Cox
>stepovers and tricks Ah yes, Hulk, Fernandinho, Fred those tricksters
Hunter Edwards
Costa wasn't born in Spain and doesn't even speak Spanish natively.
How about this guy Is he french? He was part black
Isaac Collins
>albania imagine
Austin Sanchez
1). Blacks don't originate from Europe. How many times do I have to drill this in your head? Blacks will never be European, they will always be considered outsiders. 2). They're far closer to the French and other West European countries than Africans. Study some geography.
I already said a bunch of them were mixed with the French. Yes, culture that is actually European and far closer to French culture than any African culture.
By this logic, Normans and even Italians like Michel Platini are a better representation of France than Africans can ever hope to be. It's not that hard to understand.
Easton Watson
>Gullit, Kluivert, Seedorf, Davids, Rijkaard, Van Bronckhorst, Van Hooijdonk, Winter
Just off the top of my head. You're full of shit mate.
Justin White
in the eyes of most people, and in the context of international football (the only relevant topic ITT), you are flatly incorrect.
Parker Barnes
The only reason he's considered French is because of his fame. And he was famous even before he gained his own fame since his grandfather was a French nobleman.
Legally he was considered a Mulatto and his mother was always documented as a Pure African.
If he was walking down the streets of Paris today and if he wasn't famous...the thought that he was french would never enter anyone's mind.
Leo Brooks
Sorry, meant Grandmother. His grandmother was a Black Slave.
Dylan Bailey
>in the eyes of most people Even in your country Spics are not considered true Americans so don't give me that bullshit.
International Football these days might as well be Club Football.
Austin Lewis
thanks for telling me about my own country lol
Xavier Wood
I wonder if the average frenchman would consider you more french than zidane (berber) or someone like henry
>Zidane >Berber He's Kabyle and his face looks a bit similar to Italians or Spaniards. Also Zidane is famous and looks white enough so they let it slide. They know from his face alone that he's not French though, it's very obvious.
If I go to France they'll know I'm European, but they will also know I'm not French since I'm from East Europe(although I do look far more like a West European than a lot of people here but the French would be able to tell the difference for sure).
Kayden Peterson
Cry more.
Michael Ortiz
>The Kabyle people (Kabyle: Iqbayliyen, iqβæjlijən) are a Berber ethnic group indigenous to Kabylia in the north of Algeria
I'm not talking about french as in ethnicity. You keep pretending that people that are born in a certain country won't act like everyone else which is silly. There are descendants of Japanese here and they act just like everyone else in BR. They don't act like Japanese from japan.
James Flores
2002 brazil barely beat 2002 belgium, and had to cheat (wilmots's goal..)
2018 belgium >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2002 belgium

How did we cheat? are you saying that we bought the refs
Carter Martinez
He looks like he can't count to ten.
Eli Campbell

Noah Jones
>You keep pretending that people that are born in a certain country won't act like everyone else which is silly. They often form cliques and they often don't interact with others outside their circles. Blacks and Middle-Easterners in Europe are notorious for this. You're also ignoring the importance of first glance/impression i.e how a person looks. No matter how a person acts that won't change what he/she is.
And once again you're falsely comparing Brazil a new world country to France an old world country which have very drastically different standards.
>There are descendants of Japanese here and they act just like everyone else in BR. They don't act like Japanese from japan. And Japan nips dislike Diaspora nips so much that at times they'll give shit to a compatriots for simply being born outside of Japan. They're that harsh. Once again, you can't assume that the way it is in Brazil is everywhere else.
Justin Hill
>Belgium 2018 is better than the 2002 one because it has more le niggers in it Sure thing there nig.
>And Japan nips dislike Diaspora nips so much that at times they'll give shit to a compatriots for simply being born outside of Japan. kek how do you not see that this goes against what you were arguing earlier? You were arguing about genetics and looks make someone that nationality then you go and post something showing you wrong and acting like it proves your point...
Camden Walker
It doesn't go at all against my argument. Japs hate gaijins so much that they're even willing to hate their own if they weren't born inside their country. This is the country where the minority of full-blooded japs who are born with blonde or red hair are pressured into darkening their hair and are even treated as half-japs or different from other japs. Often they're even threatened with school expulsion. They're that intolerant. Japan takes it to another level entirely.
This is a completely different planet compared to a new world country like Brazil.
Christopher Evans
Brazil is going in the same direction as Uruguay. Once the greatest nation in football, with extreme levels of talent but not enough to reach world cup finals anymore because they haven't adapted to the new technical and physical aspects of the game. Football is becoming more and more an intelligent game and the best way to learn that is in 11 a side fields, in structured academies like Barcelona's and not in the streets playing football 12 hours a day with three or four kids, even more so now that I believe this era has ended because any lower middle class kid in Brazil has access to internet and smartphones, so football is not the only distraction and entertainment anymore. Also education is being taken more seriously and kids like Ronaldinho that skipped classes to play football will be less and less frequent from now on, in my time lots and lots of kids did that, now not so much, I can see that watching the kids from nowadays. Brazil won 5 WC until now relying on extreme levels of talent alone in eras that football wasn't so complex and dependent on managers, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. And to the question if the league will ever be watched in Europe in 15 years or so I think it's very hard to happen. Football is extremely dependent on the country's economy, Brazil will always have talent, but the league is not going to be watched in Europe while they don't have money and can't bring and keep talent and create sophisticated structures and academies in local teams to keep the game as a whole in the same level of the big four leagues in the world.
The national team of Brazil, The Seleção, was never coached by a non-Brazilian. However, foreigners have had undeniably important roles in the development of Brazilian football since the beginning, from Hungary to Holland and other American countries, perhaps a coach like Guardiola would bring positivity and fresh ideas for Brazilian football.
>haven't adapted to the new technical and physical aspects You speak as if we don't have players in the top clubs in Europe and as if these same players aren't the ones playing in the NT. It's nonsense.
All teams had brazilians in the semifinal of the last champions league

>While the initial developments leading to the 4–2–4 were devised by Márton Bukovi, the credit for creating the 4–2–4 lies with two different people: Flávio Costa, the Brazilian national coach in the early 1950s, as well as another Hungarian, Béla Guttman. These tactics seemed to be developed independently, with the Brazilians discussing these ideas while the Hungarians seemed to be putting them into motion.[6][7][8] The fully developed 4–2–4 was only "perfected" in Brazil, however, in the late 1950s.
>4–2–4 was first used with success at club level in Brazil by Palmeiras and Santos, and was used by Brazil in their wins at 1958 World Cup and 1970 World Cup, both featuring Pelé, and Mário Zagallo, the latter of which played in 1958 and coached in 1970. The formation was quickly adopted throughout the world after the Brazilian success.
>The 4–3–3 was a development of the 4–2–4, and was played by the Brazilian national team in the 1962 World Cup
