They don't wear it because home kit always has to be one of the two clubs main colours. When bayern put blue as a main colour in their 14/15 kit bayern fans got pissed since it was usually red white, or red and abit of blue on the chest.
Away kits can be usually any colour for some teams like pic related, incl Pink. Some teams like Dortmund have to be always in black, but third kit can be usually anything

Pink is the goat colour for teams when they want to save money on away kits because they contrast a lot with any other colour so no risk of confusing players on the field. Amateur league teams that have financial problems will always choose a kit colour that saves them money.
