what the fuck is wrong with Juve, seriously midfield completely overrun, couldn't string two passes together, Pjanic was just dreadful, defence was all over the place on multiple occasions

Bonucci is not a defender, Chiellini is not elite. But the whole team was outplayed, have to credit Atletico
Brody Lee
pjanic was ill and shouldn;t have played, but then again he has been terrible not just all season but also for the late part of last season. he has become an incredibly lazy playmaker
allegri is still saving his subs for the away leg garbage manager ffs
Brayden Gonzalez

Really really dim. Juve is used at playing to win with as little effort as possible. It's going to end 1-0 or 2-1. Extra time at best. No more than that
Ethan Lee
14% to go through according to Ameristats website, take that as you will
>does the Champions League complex really run that deep Going to actually say no because there were a string of poor performances prior to this, topping off with the thrashing against Atalanta. It's a mix of complacency, Allegri's masterful tictocs and the lack of a solid midfield. There's just nothing brave or exciting about this squad at all; every match is a "scrappy" shithouse win. Substance over style sure, but it only works for so long.
Brayden Smith
IF costa is back and its a midfield of bernard-bentancur-khedira with cancelo at right back they can score some fucking goals
dybala is the most overrated player in the world >muh next messi >muh 26 year old future prospect

There's nothing wrong with dybala he's the only creative player jj has What wrong was Khedira and cancelo were not starters memenic and bentancur shouldn't play these two players are completely useless because they like to sit deep They don't help the attack but also clueless in defence memenic also don't know how to do a simple pass apparently how in the fuck marotard buy him in the first place is beyond me inb4 muh ameristats I swear the fucking dumb ass who say he's a good player is never actually watch him playing, only read ameristats and get hyped from media or games bullshitery

no shit, should sell him for 100m to some cucks and get a good midfielder

The post-Conte Allegri wasn't like this, why did he change so much over the years? And don't come up with the "he used Conte's schemes" bs because he completely transformed the team. Man I miss Tevez so much, he was the last worth #10 for us, Dybala has zero cojones

Adrian Baker
>tfw this early CL exit causes a full on meltdown in the team >tfw they go on and drop the league as well
What a disappointment he was. Did nothing in 90 min. Allegri wanted the typical 0-1 from a huff ball, corner kick, or some foul play. This has proven to not work in CL, Atletico has been doing it the whole time and today it worked for them but then still no CL.
Juve sold Caldara and bought Bonucci back because they want to win the CL immediately. It would be funny if they get eliminated now.
Jack Allen
Unironically get American money out of Milan and Roma, and start taking kebab money.
Americans treat football clubs as business, Arsenal ManUtd Roma and now Milan have shown that the best money making business is struggle to get top 4 then make it into CL knockout.

Injuries, lacks of squad depth, and more importantly he seems to have the mindset to win treble every season because of those reasons his approach in games always playing it safe, efficiently use his players energies, avoid injury It works wonder because he has won double 4 years in a row but he need to take a little bit risk in ucl If he stays next year maybe he should try to be like zidane completely abandon the league and focus on ucl For now I'm still believe in him
Sturaro and Marchisio were the heart and soul of Jewve
Nathaniel Garcia
This is correct. When they made the miracle comeback from 0-3 vs Real a true winner would have carried on attacking for the KO. Instead they clammed up into their shell in the italian "can't risk losing now let's take out chances on penalties" way and were punished and knocked out. That was the most annoying aspect of the defeat, not the controversy.
Luke Morris
marchisio is finished not even good enough to be a starter at zenit

I just don't think he's a very good man manager. There's very obviously an air of complacency within the squad that more or less extends to Allegro as well. The deficiencies in the midfield mean you can't play every match on autopilot.
Lincoln Young
No thx we already have a shitty coach, don't need another one.

imagine being a juve player and having to play with cristiano ronaldo
Joshua Perez
At this point, he is nothing but an older Icardi. Doubt any of his teammates respect his on-field "contributions" or his off-field weirdness.

well yeah. i wouldn't say icardi is better than ronaldo at this point but juve are going to regret the time they wasted with ronaldo instead of building for the future.
Austin Flores

I think Icardi would have done better with that juventus team than ronaldo. Hope no juventus scout reads this.

Conte is probably coming, why would they go after Godin to bench him all season
Lincoln Campbell
icardi and dybala together would have been a good experiment
Jack Wilson
Juve had their fox in the box yesterday and he did fuck all.
It's not about the individual players anyway, Allegro got outsmarted and outplayed by Simeone and that's that.
Xavier Gray
Nah you can have all the tough general archetype managers you want, you also need mentally strong players. Look at Ranieri in 2009-10, the team looked focused but then you end up choking when Damato doesn't call a handball and infighting in the locker room pops out in the middle of the match (vucinic and Perrotta). Even Capello could barely hold it for a year and they still tried to fuck it up at the start of 2000. Franco Sensi had to basically call ultras to Trigoria to shake them up a bit. And that team had murderers like Samuel, Zago, Cristiano Zanetti and even Di Francesco himself. One day people will start to realise that the players' mentality and attitude on the pitch is more important than some supposed talent that the player doesn't end up using. And you can force that mentality into the player all you want, his original weak mindedness will still come out during difficult matches.
Asher Reed
Fuckung hell he is so pure
>āMy idol has always been Kaka ā I loved his way of playing. It was a beautiful thing to watch when he touched the ball,ā the 19-year-old told the clubās official website. >āI started out at Genoa and then went to Fiorentina, where I started playing with the Under-13 team, before moving up to the U-15s.
>āThen I did a summer of training with the Primavera [U-19], after which I was told that there was no room for me.
>āIt came as a big shock because after seven years there, Iād made friends and felt part of a family. I cried about it for a whole week.
>āThen I just rolled up my sleeves and I went to Entella, near to my home and my family, and thatās where it all really began.
>āDuring the first month at Virtus Entella. I was in the Primavera squad but I wasnāt playing ā I still needed to get used to my surroundings.
>āI arrived when pre-season training had already finished. I was at my fatherās cafe in La Spezia and I was crying. I said to him: āIf I canāt make it here, maybe I need to do something else with my life.ā
Brandon Collins
>āHe replied: āDo one last week at full throttle. Do it well, without thinking.ā Thatās what I did and I kept going.
>āI felt the moment was coming. Iād got close to making my debut at one stage and I still remember that ā we were at Vicenza, winning 1-0, and the coach said to me: āWarm-up because youāre on soon.ā
>āThen we conceded and he chose to send a defender on instead. Then at Benevento, one day before my fatherās birthday, I got my debut.
>āIt was an incredible feeling ā I couldnāt believe it. Less than a year had passed since being offloaded by Fiorentina and I was making my professional debut.ā
>Zaniolo then recalled how it felt to make his official debut for the Lupi against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
>āThe boss had his technical meeting at 11 oāclock ā he didnāt tell us the line-up but he said he wanted to talk to me after the meeting,ā he explained.
>āThatās when he told me Iād be playing and asked if I was ready. I said I was. Rather than resting, I spent all day in my room, looking at the ceiling.
>āOnce I was out on the pitch, I just thought about playing and doing what I knew I could do. When youāre out there on the pitch, thatās all you think about.
>ā[Daniele] De Rossi came and told me to relax, and play as I know how to ā with two touches. [Francesco] Totti came to tell me the same thing.
>āThereās been a lot more attention on me, as well as the people close to me. I prefer to talk about what I do on the pitch, rather than what goes on off it.
>āI love football ā this is my passion. Iām happy with the season Iām having and I hope to keep going like this.
>āItās a feeling that, even now, I canāt describe to you. Iāve perhaps not even processed what happened against Porto.
>āNow I just need to train ā thatās what Iām focusing on, going hard out on the pitch to get those feelings again.ā

still cant believe roma only won one scudetto with some of the teams they had in the late 90's early to mid 2000's
one could say >er sistema had something to do with it in 2002, 2008 and 2010 but you can tell how the teams were mentally weak from how shit we did between those years. And even in those three seasons Roma choked greatly against some really shit teams (but in the end always ended up really close)
Brody Martin
You can't really win with an emotionally impulsive retard that Totti was, all his football qualities aside. And as much talent as their squad had, Juve and Inter still had way more.
It was simply not good enough.
David Gray
>Cutrone, agente e padre al Wanda. Possibile incontro con l'Atletico?

Is De Rossi /strongmind/ or /weakmind/?
Jaxson Bailey
simeone gave new life to morata maybe he will make this fraud decent

he's strongmind, just that when he's outside the pitch he'd rather scratch his ass and use it to get managers sacked. As he's getting older he's probably required to do less in training so right now he's very good.

De Rossi is a wasted potential, more or less. He could've developed into proper world class midfielder but for some reason didn't. His one club man thing was overshadowed by Totti and one thing that he actually has going for himself, the world cup trophy, was arguably the least earned by him. He was atrocious, making a bunch of needless fauls and getting carded like a brainlet.
>better team >actually plays and competes in european cups >Liga shitty defenses can't into offsides >probably more chances to play to begin with

>Maurizio Sarri is reportedly offered the chance to coach #ASRoma next season Imagine all the choking
>Allegri always thinks he can shutdown games by giving the ball to the opposition and just defend in the UCL
Same problem as Conte. For some reason they think the same tactic that works vs Frosione and Empoli at home can be applied vs Atletico, Barca and Real Madrid away.
You canāt give away control to the opponent in UCL. You have to keep fighting for the goal all 90 mins. See how Halal won it so many times.
Morata in on lon and Costa is shit now. Technically they still have Kalinic, but come one.
Jack Miller
Yes and he also played pretty well in the finals. I watched it last summer when they were showing it on FIFA's youtube. It was embarassing to see the difference in his workrate, which dipped right after that and he went by for years thanks to his amazing positioning. Also it wasn't a bunch of needless foul but the good old DDR moment of "let's do some very retarded shit and get a red for fun". People tend to pin this on Totti because the media loved shitting on him when he was younger but De Rossi has always been way worse on this. At least Totti had to get insulted and fouled, a lot, for him to lose his temper and you can tell because he always went off against the same kind of players. De Rossi just randomly elbows or punches a guy out of the blue and you can't see he isn't even mad. This hasn't gotten better as he got older, just remember last year against Genoa youtube.com/watch?v=FxpFXy4ekjY
>Morata is shit >Diego Costa is old >Kalinic is embarassing They could use a young striker to bring up and sell two years later for a ton, just to get him back on a loan after a few seasons
Samuel Gray
Halal won it exactly by giving the ball to the opposition, except that when they decided to attack they actually know what the fuck to do. Allegri just straight up says to his team "just focus on not conceding and if you somehow score a goal good thing"
Kevin Torres
Well, It would make sense for him to move there if they promise him a starting spot.

what are some realistic name juventus can sign this summer to improve their midfield? i would sign rakitiÄ asap and spend 100 millions on eriksen. get rid of emre can, jew pjaniÄ to psg. keep khedira for rotation. matuidi too. cuadrado aswell. buy some random serie a journeymen. bernardeschi - rakitiÄ - eriksen
Jaxon Myers
They should buy Pogba.
Ian Harris
Tonali, Sensi and Sturaro.
Jayden Cook
I feel really sad about Serie A. I grew up with it being a great league, both domestically and with representation in Europe. Now itās a one-team babby league where the top club dominates every year and buys the best from their domestic rivals if they get too close. And to make matters worse, Juve arenāt even top 5 in Europe. Sad.
Colton Brooks
Nigga juventus had 60% of possession, if anything simeone allegri'd allegri here
Mason Clark
It was all with the back four. They had no control in midfield which is where posession actuslly matters.
Thomas Collins
it was all chieiellini and bionucci playmaking to alessandro and deschillo. matuidi, pjaniÄ and betocurr were invisible going forward.
Christopher Gutierrez
>bernardeschi - rakitiÄ - eriksen You can't do shit with that midfield, the perfect combination for a midfield is: one good at distributing the ball, one good at stealing balls and one good with 'inserimenti'. Khedira-Pjanic-Matuidi aren't that good on their own but they work perfectly together, so they need improve each one of them with someone better but with the same characteristics.
Matuidi-Can can work (Can is good at stealing and defending the ball but he also has a decent technique unlike Matuidi) Khedira-Ramsey can work (both wrecks physically but Ramsey has a great technique and is 100% offensive) Pjanic-Verratti (Everyone talks shit about him but honestly he's very good at handling the ball under pressure, better than Pjanic for sure)
Then yes, you can add a top player that is good at doing everything (Pogba is the only one that comes to mind)

now it's impossible but pogba would be perfect for this team should've aggresively tried to bring him back when his relationship with monsieur mou turned really sour jj must not miss on kante right now before sarri gets sacked before kante stop getting missplaced before chelsea gets someone competent in their management before abramovic wakes up from his hibernation paratici must try to land him realistic name will be segej whatever memers say about him he's still a very good player his price also will be much more make sense next summer i can see him work well with ramsey in the mid another name is ndombele jj has been linked with him quite a while quality ball winner another must have aside from midfielder is center back maybe try de light If jj wants a famous name Koulibally would be ideal player I think napoli's squad will fall apart next summer If someone like hamsik can go everybody can go Milenkovic can be a decent cheap backup if jj doesn't want to spend a lot of money

hamsik left because he was finished at high levels there is just no way napoli sells their best player to juventus dont feed him

Juventus ruinned his career, he could be the 9 of the Argentine national team if he were the 9 of a Valencia tier team and scored 20 goals per year, but now people think we shouldnt even call him because he does nothing at all.
On the other hand, in Juventus he earns more than 7 million euros per year.
He should have done what Lo Celso is doing by moving from PSG to Betis.
Nolan Carter
wrong allegri ruined his career, but im hopeful for dybala after zidane comes in
Jack Martin
What was Mandzukic even supposed to do yesterday though? Juve were barely able to attack at all since Memenic and co. were don't jackshit.
Adrian Garcia
he didnt put up a fight, he was physically bullied by atletico which is supposed to be his "strong point"
Evan Perry
atletico bully everyone. you can't bully them
Sebastian Cooper
To put up a fight JJ has at least try to hoofball it to him. Instead the joined the defense and got nobody but TSU to hoofball up front
Anthony Martinez
it's why a few weeks ago I said Zaniolo would be retarded to go play in Juve. Look at Dybala, look at Bernard Heskey as a young player you're just going to win leagues while playing a few matches each season and pretend you did something. If I was a young player and actually believed in myself there's no way in hell I'd go to Juve before I turn 25 or something
Christopher Ward
thats because hes a lackluster striker (or a onetrick pony) other than catching crosses or long balls hes shit at everything else, dybala always had 3 men on him because he didnt open up spaces or take away people marking him (i could explain it better in italian) lol so many players improved under conte, its just allegri being an overrated coach that ruins players not juve
I can already feel that Allegri will somehow bring the 2nd leg on a 2-0 on the first half, the 3-0 will come at 60' and then he will park the bus until they concede the 3-1 at 89'.
Cooper Jones
Inter will beer sheva it tonight, only these heavenly digits sent by avvocato Peppino can save them
>Juve's whole offensive line was invisible not just him. dybala and ronaldo actually tried because their skillset is better than waiting to tap in a ball >tactics hahahaha allegri doesnt have any of that shit most overrated coach on the planet right now vidal became a beast like he never was at leverkusen

Simeone "outclassed" Allegri in tactics and yet he only scored with two corners and the only chances created were gifts from Jj players. Simeone won this game solely because he has elephant balls, and his team is a reflection of his character: a bunch of bloodthirsty animals that doesn't let you breathe for 90 minutes. Allegri, on the other hand, has zero balls, zero courage and zero character, so of course the team always looks lazy and never knows what to do.
Austin Lewis
you are right but he is also right simeone made 3 changes in 6 minutes and completely changed the match while max was standing clueless
Adam Edwards
This. Simeoneās subs were ballsy. He didnāt wait around.
Nicholas Adams
Atletico was more than fine with coming out with a 0-0 at home.
Noah Adams
Lemar played like shit, Correa was invisible and Morata's only contribution was the disallowed goal. Jj would've lost this anyway

user why no white sauce, you can find it in supermarkets if you're too lazy to make it (like me). Ragu looks good and the pasta is the right colour but it's going to be a bit dry, at this point you could have made tagliatelle and served them with the sauce without involving the oven. 6/10, good performance but 0 effort.

napoli dominating but not supremely
you right fra. ragu is great but a bit dry. dunno i dislike the supermarket ones here.. most sauces are bad. shoulda made a juicier ragu to save it more. will try the white sauce next time. i had problems with my pasta. with the machine it was sticy and had holes. had to hand roll thick ones. do have idea why it didnt work out? thanks for rating.
White sauce isn't hard to make with a little practice, it's called bechamelle, google it. Also yes, grandma's trick is usually to use a little bit more tomato sauce (or add a little milk) to make the ragu less thick if it has to be used with lasagne, since it's bound to dry up a bit in the oven. Now I'm not a pasta expert but if the dough is too sticky you either used too many eggs (any recipe can give you a ratio, even if everyone uses a different one). To solve the issue you can spray some flour on the dough before treating it. Anyway it looks like you did a great job, keep it up

Daily reminder that Ghoulam was the GOAT before the injury, glad to see him back on track. >tfw froggy will be sold before we can see him pair up with GOATin to form the ultimate duo of aggressive centrebacks

Actually Bonucci and Chiellini are good only for /seriea/ because of the shitty strikers the need to face and the referees that let them to do everything. Yesterday they were embarrassing.

i read somewhere that buying a season ticket for Napoli is actually just like buying the ticket for every game in term of price

>our season ended at juve united That loss scared Allegri to play like shit for the rest of the season

Allegri's obsessione with Busparking is expecially retarded because Jve can actually play well while attacking, two of theyr most memorable games in CL in recent years where the 3-1 in Madrid and THAT Bayern game where they had nothing to lose and actually tried to play for the win.

they've done that shit forever. it's not the play-acting that's the problem, it's that they do it at the wrong time. e.g. straight after a disallowed goal to atleti, don't be expecting ref favors
Jesus fuck I hope this is true. Whether he play instead of Suso or Calabria I don't care, just put him in there.
Conti is the player I've been the most excited about since we signed him a year ago. You have no idea how it feels to go from Cafu to shitters like Abate/De Shittio/Calabria for 10 fucking years.

Pretty sure he doesn't rate Calabria higher. No need to be in a hurry with Conti when Calabria is decent anyway. Last time he injured himself back immediately.

I'm no drug expert and I doubt anyone in this board is. However, there was something really fishy going on with Juve in that match.
Juve never play that ridiculously fast. Heck most teams nowadays don't have that explosive pace to them. And that too under Allegri who is Mr. Slow. It made Conte's Juve looks like slow turtles in comparison.
When you compare it to the first leg and the match vs Benevento or their match vs Milan around that time in Serie A where Juve played at their usual slow pace that game stands out way too much.
Like I said last year you don't turn from a Yugo 101 into a Lamborghini in one week.

>New Gabigol, full meltdown mode Spalletti and la rana charrua carrying Inter to an improbable EL win Am I allowed to dream?
Honestly I rate Abate over Calabria. At least he's not a complete manlet and can defend better...also played well as CB when we were having injureis this season. He's better than De Shittio though.
Spalletti was already saying last year that Ranocchia is fundamental for locker room purposes, he's litterally Inter's shadow captain. Everybody loves him.
Andrew Ortiz
