He's a great guitarist and has been involved in a number of timeless rock albums, but he really is overrated as fuck. Many of his contemporaries at the time, like Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman, and Jeff Beck, shat all over him. To rank him among or higher than them is just fucking ridiculous.

hes better than Allman but ill give you the other two, Allman was also second fiddle to Dickey Betts which isnt bad considering Betts is the best classic rock guitarist of all time
