Hi, I really want to start a bandcamp thread. I'm not doing anything for a while so I'll comment constructively on every piece of music that gets posted. Thanks have a good day.

Op here
in exactly one hour, depending on whether or not this thread is still here I will post my trash
Hi ;)
aedact.bandcamp.com
My last album, would love to know what are your thoughts on it.
>electronic music, idm, glitch, experimental
frownpaper.bandcamp.com
youtube.com
>indie pop and soul
>cassette recorded
>70s/80s influence
Im around thirty seconds into the recommended song and I already know that I am in love. I'll give this album a good listen and let you know my thoughts. Thanks for posting.
are you the artist for this piece?
actually would kill to know the process, I use tape recorders but have never achieved something of that fidelity. so cool, will purchase this album for sure.

how do you get that ambience? i have a super similar project that used a cello bow on an electric guitar with a lot of reverb, and distortion. reminds me of my first time going to voodo doughnuts.
I fucking hate soundcloud with a passion, long live based bandcamp
>Trip-hop
>Electronic
>Guitar
Op here again, for everyone that posts here I will be listening to your entire discography and will contact you through a bandcamp email to spread some love. I feel like listening to just one song isn't doing you guys justice.
Really like everything I'm hearing so far, cheers.
I use a plug in called ValhallaFreqEcho that's great for creating weird, warping soundscapes
third song is banging, keep at it. only critique is that I think that the vocals should be a little louder and more prevalent. really good effects and instrumental
might honestly have to buy your whole discography
OP, you're the greatest
someone i used to work with talked about that plugin a lot. cool to finally know what he was talking about.
released a new album literally yesterday
tomx.bandcamp.com
>ambient-ish stuff sometimes noisy
was inspired mostly by GRIM/Jun Konagaya (and some other PE artists) and yume nikki ost lol
I like the ominous vibe + the cover looks sick
Absolutely based, will dl for sure
thought it was gonna be some bs EDM stuff at first but turned out it was really interesting glitch!
here, thanks for the kind words. I love the back and forth between noisy drone pieces and tracks with electric piano. I especially enjoyed Entropy. The guitar on here reminded me of the Biosphere song Times I Know You'll Be Sad
Op here again. I won't be sharing my music on this thread, because I am having a lot of fun hearing all of the stuff you guys have made. If by any chance your analytics have a skip, it is because of my spotty internet connection. I am listening to one song currently from each of you guys from beginning to end. Thanks to each and every one of you that have posted so far.

we will never find second percussion after first moved away :( much sadness. got to open for guerilla toss, pokey lafarge, hung out with ghost mice, bunch of touring. i miss making music
always have been a fan, "Round" is such a badass song,
first track was beautiful, would love to float in space with it
wow thanks for the feedback (and the recc songs sick)
Ill be sure to give yours a full listen when it comes out
Thanks! Def is the feel Im going for

Not my music just a band I saw two days ago. Some of the best math rock I’ve ever heard. Great show
those sound like really good times. really enjoying Birth, Skeletons
figured this would be the best thread for asking
does anyone else's bandcamp often freeze when playing a song? I sometimes have to refresh or skip 20 sec for it to continue playing. Sometimes happen in between songs too.
I get that too, I think it's just Bandcamp's servers
Hey, I released an album over a month ago and would love to get yr opinion on it. It's an alternative rock/emo/punk album inspired by artists like Jeff Rosenstock, weezer, Radiohead, clipping., etc.

i posted this in a thread 2 (?) days ago but anyway this is a short instrumental folk album based on my experiences in the state of maine, comprised of thirteen lo-fi guitar & banjo duets that are less than a minute long for the most part. will return feedback on this thread or via bandcamp dm if the thread dies
>i posted this in a thread 2 (?) days ago
you need to post every day for a week or two until we like you
good thing youre on youtube now so i can send you to people
this is how impressionist music should be. short but still varied enough to encapsulate all your emotions. but still i refuse to believe all your travelling experience was this chill and wholesome. you went on a journey, take us with you on the bad parts as well. the uncomfortable beds, the lack of toilets and such... but still, this is great music. my favorite was katahdin.
i have a bandcamp
belabocek.bandcamp.com
but! i have two demoes that i want specific feedback on on soundcloud.
soundcloud.com
>melodic rock
>noisey
Nice abrassive sounds you got there. I might buy this album.
And as for me:
This is a short EP I made a while ago. No one cared about it and thats kinda shit cause im pretty proud of it. Best to be heared when takin a midnight city walk in the rain when city lights make the whole sky orange.
>electronica
>a bit glitchy and sterile
>4x4
>kinda experimental because of some noisy moments
>sad as fuck in my opinion
>sometimes ambientish
namelessking.bandcamp.com
>dungeon synth
>low tempo chill
>medieval-ish instruments with backing synth work
>pretty melodic, good for a rainy day.
thanks man!
Yours is pretty good two, I really like the bleak prod with warm moments of the first two songs at least. Ill give it a full listen later tonight when Im drunker. Might buy it too.

Yo, dude, this sounds fantastic. I'm bookmarking and showing it to my bandmate. I love the minimimalistic style and country feel to it.
On your Bandcamp, I really, really like "I'm Clara". I wish I had more specific feedback for it, but I just really enjoy it. As for the soundcloud demos, I like them as well. Are these meant to be just instrumental tracks? Because I think vocals would go really well on them. Otherwise, I think, composition-wise they're both very interesting, especially Spiritimbal1. It has nice pop sensibilities, but doesn't feel bound my them. Really cool.
B R U H, I love this instantly. There's something very sincere about this sound, man. The subtle and intricate ambiance combined with a simple folk style, and the s l i d e g u i t a r. It's absolutely wonderful and I'm going to share with people.
I have two projects to promote, and I'll try and return any feedback I get.
First project: My band's full-length
>Noise
>Psych rock
>Lo-fi
>Jammy
>FFO: Les Rallizes Denudes, GY!BE, Modest Mouse, MBV, 60s surf music, Lighting Bolt, Hella, King Crimson, Bad Brains
johnnyboylovesyou.bandcamp.com
Second project: A solo EP
>Shoegaze
>Post-rock
>Lo-fi
>Experimental
>FFO: Deftones, Xiu Xiu, Teen Suicide, Daniel Johnston, Eels, MBV, Guided By Voices, Slowdive
johnnyboylovesyou.bandcamp.com
thank you
its just the instruments mentioned in the credits into a mxr red compressor into the tape machine and then bounced down a load with decent amount of echo
>Coomcore/Fapcid house
Don’t have band camp so here is SoundCloud m.soundcloud.com
We had a thread on biz of all places yesterday and a few anons made their own coomcore music
