It’s massively underrated

So fucking garbage.

It shouldn't be called an Arctic Monkeys album. Other than that, it took me a few listens to like it, but it's comfy.

it's a masterpiece

I feel pity for people who havent caught its magic

An amazing album, entirely.

Why not? Turner has always led the band.

I hated it on first listen but now I know it's fun and underrated.

great album but I prefer the indie rock side of the discography honestly. You've gotta be in the right mood to listen to this and enjoy it properly IMO.

Try this.

makes me so depressed knowing were not gonna get a tranquility base hotel and casino 2, and if we do it wont be for 5 years, theres no way were getting another album that has this same feel

2018 AOTY

10/10 Alex at his most skilled/honest imo. I love this kind of dystopian ride albums like Pure Comedy and im into Blade Runner, 2001, etc sci-fi influences Alex uses here.
There's some beautiful imaginery right here.

A few tracks on it, like 1 and 2, are fantastic but I wasn't too moved by the rest. Anyways is great though.

Used to hate it, now it sounds pretty good. I enjoyed how simplistic and easy listening vibe the album has, and the heavy use of 70s imagery (especially the computers they use on the music video). Considering that I absolutely hate AM and thought that that's the worst thing they ever done, this one is a pleasant surprise. I still don't like the fact that Turner is still trying too hard to be "cool".

However, this direction also potentially will lead to their demise. I know majority of my friends who are huge monkeys fans didn't liked it that much.

overrated by mu
underrated by redditors

Ill givem both a try thanks
