What do you think of the advanced Yea Forumscore chart, Yea Forums?
The chart is going to be updated soon, so if there is anything you would like to get replaced from the chart, then this is the time to tell me!
Also, feel free to roll by doing the following: >take the four last digits from your post (XXXX) >google "XXXX mod 1111" >listen to the recording with that number >share your thoughts Have fun!
if it's supposed to be "advanced Yea Forumscore", I think there are too many albums that are just never discussed here. it's great that non-western music and classical are both being highlighted, but I don't think an album can really be considered Yea Forumscore if it's not a part of the vernacular. if it's just supposed to be advanced music it's fine, though I think the rock section could be fleshed out a lot more

this is a good list of music in general but it's not a good list of Yea Forumscore. how often does this place really discuss central and northern asian folk music?
i'd recommend going through this list if you want to look smart on RYM but not so much if you want to post on Yea Forums

Oh, and forgot to add, if the jazz and mongolian anons from the past threads are here, please tell me, as I have some questions regarding your posts.

advanced Yea Forumscore is not the same as Yea Forumscore
>I think the rock section could be fleshed out a lot more What exactly about it? I'm considering reducing the psychedelic section to ten recordings to increase the early rock section to twenty, but I'm not sure yet.

Fornnordiska Klanger - The Sounds of Prehistoric Scandinavia really is my favorite Yea Forums core! I love all the thousand of threads that discuss this sweet album! Good Yea Forumscore album, indeed!

I get that, I just think that there's a disproportionate amount of attention being spent on music that doesn't have an audience here.
as for fleshing out rock, I guess I personally would want more 90s-00s stuff in the "rock" section. I'm not gonna claim to be any kind of authority on music at all, but I do think that there are at least a half dozen worthy rock albums from the last 30 years that aren't on here.
but what do I know, I'm just some random asshole who's really only been on here for like a year, so take what say with a grain of salt

>a disproportionate amount of attention being spent on music that doesn't have an audience here I believe it does have an audience, it's just that this audience isn't used to listen to this stuff now.
>I personally would want more 90s-00s stuff in the "rock" section >I do think that there are at least a half dozen worthy rock albums from the last 30 years that aren't on here There are already almost twenty rock albums from the 90s and onward though.
I still appreciate your comments by the way.

yes but they're almost all punk/metal, which don't really scratch that itch for me. I hate to be that basic Yea Forums bitch but like what about MBV
Michael Torres
MBV are already on the chart.
>they're almost all punk/metal there is also post-rock, indietronica, chamber pop, math rock, screamo, midwest emo, and brutal prog, all from the 90s and onward.
