orion and mop are fantastic. what about for whom the bell tolls?

It's top ten.

>Four Horsemen
>implying Jump in the Fire wasn't the best track on KEA
Blackened gets worse the more I hear it too. 25 years ago it and Dyer's Eve were the hardest shit I've heard, now the bad production and dragged out songwriting on AJFA kind of annoy me.

I can't take the Four Horsemen seriously anymore
>write song about teenage sex
>boo, it's so stupid
>slow it down and slap some Sweet Home Alabama in the middle
>woah, a masterpiece
Jump in the Fire is even funnier because they didn't even try to make is sound less sexual.

Mechanix is a retarded song man, it makes Bret Michaels look like...a good lyricist, and not only are the lyrics so fucking dumb but it just sounds worse than Four Horsemen sonically and musically.

Megafag here, Horsemen>Mechanix but it's still a ridiculous song either way. I mentioned Jump in the Fire because it's the most fun riff to play on KEA and it's the only song where Kirk added something cool to a Dave composition.

Listening to lyrics is for plebs and the mid-paced original version sounds most natural.
It's not a great song and neither is The Four Horsemen. It's really embarrassing when some kiddies start going on about how epic and ""progressive"" it is.

>Listening to lyrics is for plebs
No, not listening to lyrics is for plebs. Lyrics are not the most important part of a song and probably the least important when it comes to hard rock and metal, but they're still a part of a song that an actual music listener acknowledges along with everything else, because there are brilliant lyrics and there are awful lyrics, if lyrics trigger you so much go listen to classical or jazz fruitcup.

Also who the fuck thinks anything on Kill Em All is "progressive"? It's fucking more aggro NWOBHM with the gleeful teen retardation of punk rock. There is nothing prog about it.

>Also who the fuck thinks anything on Kill Em All is "progressive"?
You wouldn't believe but there are people like that.

Well they B dumb

>no battery
shit list desu

you're actually wrong OP, it's
>Fight Fire With Fire
>Ride The Lightning
>Battery
>Wherever I May Roam
and the all time best
>Dyer's Eve

both of you are wrong, though you have elements of rightness. The list, in order, is:
>Orion
>Anesthesia(Pulling Teeth)
>Dirty Window
>Battery
>No Leaf Clover

>Enter Sandman
>Nothing else Matters
>fill the last 3 with any songs from St. Anger

>Nothing Else Matters
>Fade to Black
>Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
>One
>Until It Sleeps

>Franatic
>Mama Said
>St.Anger
>Unforgiven III
>Hate Train

>Ride the Lightning
>Call of Ktulu
>Leper Messiah
>Orion
>The Frayed Ends of Sanity

Come the fuck on

>One
>The Unforgiven
>Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
>Am I Evil?
>Seek and Destroy

let it pass by

Enter sandman is the best

Pretty good picks. My top five would be:

>Creeping Death
>Dyers Eve
>Ride the Lightning
>Fight Fire with Fire
>The God That Failed

As you can tell, I’m a sucker for Ride the Lightning.

>Wherever I May Roam
Absolutely, that song kicks so much ass

No

none of you uncultured fucks are brave enough to say "one"... fucking fags

...

Straight up the only Metallica song that stands out from the rest

What a dumb thing to say

One is a meme song

> Blackened
> The Call of Ktulu
> Master of Puppets
> No Leaf Clover
> Fight Fire With Fire

The opening solo to One > the solo at the end
