constructive criticism is fun and a good way to figure out what makes music work and what doesn't. you gotta quit trying to make this meme happen though. watched your vid and it was lackluster in comparison to your others i've seen. song was alright but the noise parts didn't really have the impact i think you were going for. it starts off pretty full but the mix gets thin when it should be blowing up. take your own advice on bass and eqinq

Three songs have been recorded in my hifi setup so far, Dropout Journey, Technicians and an upcoming new song that I had reviewed and was subsequently told the production was really fucking bad, so I’m delaying its release (and any future releases) for the time being to do more research, fix what's wrong with it, and see if I can apply these fixes to other songs.

The vocals sound too loud on Craven. It sounds like it's peaking as it gets louder and sounds like it was mixed just before any clipping could happen; it's a little irritating when listening back to it. Lead synth sounds quieter than it should be even without the vocals, there's this small bleep loop in the instrumental every now and then that tries to give the song some variety but it's always the same loop and it gets boring fast. Nothing wrong with your performance or lyrics, everything else about the song just sounds worse.

I saturate the vocals to make them stand out more, I'll try not doing that in the next one and see if it sounds any better.
