Yeah but Iron Maiden really took it to another level, Zeppelin and Sabbath may have had it sprinkled in but there was still a lot of drugs, sex, craziness, whatever, Iron Maiden was like history lessons and mythology every single song, which is why they're based, but I can see how certain types of people wouldn't like it.
Axl also said he only liked the first two Iron Maiden records to me, which makes sense I think since they had more attitude and were more raw back then.
