What he is saying here is that people read into his lyrics too much when the intent of it is only humorous, not that the entire album is a joke. I find it very hard to believe that anyone would lock themselves away in a house to record an album for eight months would do it "as a joke". Someone explain this album to me. My current theory is that the only way to like this album is to listen to so much music that you become totally burned out on everything else. It only exists as a palette cleanser.
