Wings are better.
You put the record on the record player and it goes around and around as it plays. Revolver. Did you think it was a gun?
>Sometime around the fourth or fifth day of “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” Emerick said John “went ballistic” and walked out of the studio “ranting and raving.” When he returned visibly intoxicated, things got even more tense.
>We know John was quite a performer, and Emerick said he made a grand return the day he left the White Album session. “I am fucking stoned!” he yelled walking in the door, to the shock of everyone present. (The late Emerick recounted this story in his book, Here, There and Everywhere.)
>”I am more stoned than you have ever been,” John continued shouting. “In fact, I am more stoned than you will ever be! And this is how the f*cking song should go.” With that, he hammered the opening chords to “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” on the piano. Emerick said Paul was furious.
>”A very upset Paul got right in Lennon’s face,” Emerick wrote. “For a moment I thought fists might fly.” Instead, Paul swallowed the provocation and accepted John’s idea. (He used it in the song, in fact.) Eventually, somehow, they finished the album.
that's the white album, my dude
that book is pretty good. he puts down george a lot though, i guess they didn't get along
>he puts down george a lot though, i guess they didn't get along
Who? Emerick?
For me it’s Rubber Soul, The White Album and Ram
yea a few times geoff rags on his playing and songwriting
For me, it's Help!, All Things Must Pass, and MTV Unplugged
For me it's Ram, Band on the Run, and Wings Over America
i love the beatles but i am not keen on this one. for no one is cool but i find it boring and badly produced
Is this dude weed lmao?
The Beatles didn't do drugs
yes but he didn't inhale
Paul was the biggest pothead out of all them, he got arrested 5 times for possession
Then what's the point? Can you still get high if you don't inhale?
listen to it in mono
I've been listening to it all day, put on some good headphones man it's a real trip of an album. They combine excellent songwriting and thoughtful lyrics with some really off the wall and creative production, especially considering it came out in 1966. She Said She Said is pretty much the basis of everything on Tame Impala's first two albums
sometimes I forget there are literal 13 year olds browsing this site who have 0 pop culture knowledge
It’s called ghosting, just a little smoke trick
I'm not a mutt therefore I have no obligation of getting references of some gay ass president.
come back when you're 18
LOL! DUDE! WEED!
Does this serve any purpose or it's just a cool trick?
I'm 25. Kill yourself amerishart.
if that's true then that's pretty sad to have pissed away so much of your life on the internet and not get a well known reference like that. by the way I'm not american either
It's pretty cool that a third worlder like yourself is able to operate a computer.
Cool trick
play it on 45 rpm

I was kind of disappointed that the Rutles only had two songs covering the period between Help! and Sgt. Pepper.

Mccartney is Eggy's grandfather
this album demonstrates how aggressive paul's bass playing tends to get on any song that he didnt write. i wonder if he did that to keep from getting bored or whether he was just trying to upstage the songwriter...
