>In the album's post-apocalyptic world, pollution is so bad that the populace are forced to wear Lifesuits, suits that simulate all experiences in a way that no one would have to leave home. The suits are plugged into a huge mainframe called the Grid, similar to today's Internet, controlled by a man named Jumbo. [Behind Blue Eyes]

>The story begins when Ray and Sally, potato farmers in Scotland, hear of a rock concert called Lifehouse occurring in London. Their daughter, Mary, runs away to join the concert, and Ray and Sally ("Sally take my hand, we'll travel south 'cross land") decide to follow her there on a road trip. [Baba O'Riley, Going Mobile, Love Ain't for Keeping] Bobby, the creator of Lifehouse, is a hacker who broadcasts pirate radio signals for his concert, where the participants' personal data is taken from them and converted into song form. [Getting in Tune] Mary meets up with Bobby and they develop a close relationship. [Bargain]

>At the climax of the album, the authorities have surrounded the Lifehouse [Won't Get Fooled Again], then the perfect "One Note" rings forth through the combination of everybody's songs. The police storm the place, only to find everybody has disappeared through a sort of musical nirvana. [The Song Is Over]

Preferably directed by Genndy tartakovsky, or the Animatrix guys.

Isn't Baba O'Riley inspired by Clockwork Orange?

Why not use the Lifehouse demos instead so you can adapt the full story?

Violent J's Wizard Of The Hood

I was putting down the most well known songs to keep it concise

The Wall

At least mention the demos next time you repost this.

bump

that’s fucking disgusting

Not really sure if animation would work for The Who or not though, doesn't seem like their style.

"Happy Jack" and "Call Me Lightning" both have music videos that were also supposed to serve as pilots for a potential Monkees-esque T.V. series that never came to be.

Zoom

It hurts knowing that we are never going to get a true Lifehouse album.

You can just make your own playlist online. All the songs for the project are around.

Directed by Ralph Bakshi or something. Preferably released sometime in his heyday.

I know but a lot of them are demos which, while great, aren’t the same as a finished song produced for the album. With Keith and John dead, and Roger’s voice being so different from what it was there is no way for it to finally feel like a finished album in the way that Pete wanted it.

Wut? Every single Lifehouse demo has a finished Who version, save for Greyhound Girl and Mary.

Ziggy Stardust

bump

did you have to post this in 2 boards?

>Genndy
I was shocked and baffled this guy did the hotel translyvania stuff - but then I looked at them more closely and it made sense.

worth digging up the Russian version of the animated kipling/jungle book - looks like his work.

lifehouse?

The story of Ziggy Stardust can be made into a movie easily IMO

Didn't they already make one?

It would be the greatest rock movie never made. Not only a great jukebox musical but a complicated exploration of stardom and a based takedown of the genre's superficial image and phony ideals.

That was a concert

The possibilities would be abundant.

Whos Next is a better one mans vision album than Pet Sounds

Pet sounds was more revolutionary

Already have the Spongebob movie

Now we just need the Spongebob movie with the rest of the album as the soundtrack.

everything made by jim steinman

This or Deconstruction would be sick

Not bad, OP. Not bad at all.

Didn't know that

IIRC, Pete Townshend did release an album under the name of 'LifeHouse Chronicles' which was a collection of lots of songs[many of them demos].

Revolutionary is which sense?

This where it's like American Pie but in a musical style.

Definitely The Wall by Pink Floyd
Always though it was perfectly suited for this type of thing. Too bad they’re all dead now

Are you unaware there's already a movie for it?

Olias of Sunhillow. It’s pure adventure through fantastical space. Imagine traveling through a Roger Dean world.
