Been listening to this guy who posts on the shill threads here. The first track on the album sounds kinda shitty, his voice is maybe a bit of a pleb filter, but there are a few great songs on there. His lyrics are excellent especially on Angels in Disguise and Lay Your Brother Down.
Anyone else know of any obscure folk/singer-songwriters worth listening to? Modern stuff preferably.
Glad you enjoyed my album OP. The first song is one of my regrets to be honest, I shouldn’t have included it.

Very nice guitar work, reminds me of John Prine. I don’t really like his voice though, he’s straining too much.

This album is one of the best of the mu-share-thread frequents. Probably this the BonBos guy on soundcloud

>This album is one of the best of the mu-share-thread frequents Thanks user, that is very kind of you. For anyone interested my album is available on Spotify here:
>BonBos guy on soundcloud He's very good, I'd also like to throw a recc. at Martin Nilsen, there's not enough people on here making this type of music.
Haven’t seen you for a while! Aren’t you the guy who inherited a really nice Martin from his dad? If so we started learning guitar about the same time.
I swear it wasn’t me officer, I know samefagging is a serious crime. :(

jason molina lite, very cool
Zachary Hall
nothing remotely special about this record
Grayson Davis
I didn't say it was amazing or anything, it's completely derivative but a few of the songs are cool if you like that style
Haha, hey there. Not really inherited since he's still alive and kicking, but I do play it periodically. Nice to see you.
Thanks.

>Spotify Bro, no offence bro but spotify will destroy your career, or I should say your attempt at one before it even begins. Spotify's whole gameplan is to securely steal music from artists and then when that artist disappears they rebrand the music under a new name. Basically like what the industry did with Lady GaGa but now it's Spotify doing it and no one knows.
