Beats definitely feel mire mature and flow a lot better. Personally thought Veteran was way too wish-washy with many throwaway ideas molded into boring beats but this one is an improvement. At least IMO, I’d recommend a listen at least.

I feel like there's a lot happening in terms of instrumentals on this album, but I'm lukewarm on the lyrics. Clever bars and good flow, but nothing I haven't heard before - I guess I wanted something more substantial. Distortion, choppy beats, and cute little vocal samples but I dont think it's much more than a stylistic choice. Admittedly I haven't listened to much of his other stuff so maybe its par for the course
maybe I'm just immature, but this feels like orgasm denial: the album. He'll be on a good riff, or a really cool instrumental will come up but it will obnoxiously beat switch into some soft shit after 30 seconds
