Artists you hear about all the time, but never check any of their stuff out. For whatever reason.

go listen to all of Rumours right now
Op here. I’ve never listened to a full Beatles album. I’ve only ever listened to Hey Jude. I think the hype pushed me away and I don’t even know where to start.
who the fuck wants to listen to kindergarten songs
I have never listened to a Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, or Kiss album.
A lot of people apparently, I think I might start with Revolver. I see it posted here pretty often.
listen to the shitty stupid old songs they first put out, just like the first half of the 1 compilation album. Just kind of skim through them
then listen to Revolver and keep going forward
i've used to avoid that stuff because the same 20 "MUH REAL ROCK" songs just get played on the radio over and over
Led Zeppelin has good stuff. AC/DC has like 2 good albums and Kiss has like 2 good songs
And then go back listen to their early stuff again because it’s peak comfy boomer tunes
I'm assuming you think it's because it's all very slow guitar stuff that's focused on songwriting, which is true for a lot of their material. If you want stuff that isn't quiet and slow for each: Highway 61 Revisited, (debatably) After the Gold Rush, Rain Dogs, and Songs of Love and Hate. Probably still not your speed, but hope that helps.
Do you like the Beach Boys? Some of their material sounds like them for sure, some of it (Sgt. Pepper's/White Album) can be intimidating, but for the most part there isn't much deeper meaning to their songs than what's on the surface level.
For me it was all neo-psychadelia that was suggested to me. But I'm giving Sandy(Alex G) a try
Listen to Tangled Up In Blue for Bob Dylan. If you don't like that, he's got nothing for you.
gizzard
If you were at any point really into psychedelic pop or psychedelic rock from the 60's to 70's, then most if not all neo-psych will sound like absolute shit to you
You're missing out but I can see why you feel that way.
If you change your mind, give I'm In Your Mind Fuzz a try.
No
what is this knockoff pepe
Just listen to Revolver, best album out of the bands discography.
oh man user, do we know the same guy? Played Waiting Room in my car the other day and a friend asked me if it was Johnny Cash. Have never let him live it down.
