it's my favourite album of all time. you can come back to it at any time and it still sounds just as enjoyable and beautiful. if the objectively best albums are ones that can be enjoyed without a slither of context about the influence it had or it's background, then this is one of the greatest albums ever made.

Congratulations is a masterpiece and a perfect statement the band has made in their peak.
Self Titled is second best being the most pyschedelic, ambitious and true to themselves. Worthy of being called MGMT.
Oracular Spectacular is their most historically important album in how groundbreaking it was in the mainstream. Contains some of the greatest pop songs of the century.
Little Dark Age is the nudging reminder of their strong pop and songwriting skills after the experimental looseness of the last record that made dimheads log off. A great addition into their varied and consistent discography.
The next record (and maybe final) might be their most polarizing yet, as they will switch up styles again leaving old and new fans getting what they didn’t know they needed.

I love all of their albums but this one is on another level, might very possibly be my favourite of all time.
