Xavier Bennett

Jayden Lopez
what is Times of Grace
Nicholas Jackson
The things this album would begin were unseen. This was the start of a whole new era of distorted guitar music
Bentley White
First for melodeath
Henry Wright
First for Amenra is the true spiritual successor to Neurosis.
Ryan Sanders

Also, you're right about Souls at Zero (and I would add Enemy of the Sun to that). While I really like their following albums, those two are the ones which broke new grounds.
Gabriel Lee
well, yea, everything after souls at zero was massively great. up until given to the rising where they just settled into their style. I still like those records after too, but they lack the innovation of the previous ones.
Jaxon Morales
also, amenra's last 2 records are some of the best blackened post sludge records ever
Jacob Roberts
friend wants to see ffdp
I want to see megadeth
>guess what's in Wien
is this a good idea, we are talking a lot of money for old crusty bands that offer nothing new after 20 years
Owen Hughes
No-one wants your fucking canned atmosphere boring ass squeaky clean american forest shit fucking abyss studios eurocore shit but with reverb effects and shit that sounds like those "native american" flute music CDs you get at like Crystal Twizzler shove a broom up my vag stores bitch, people stopped buying this shit years ago.
Kevin Thomas
Yeah, I know. I got to see them this summer for the first time and they were amazing. They played a lot from the last three albums.
I liked VI, it's now probably my favourite after III, but still can't get into V. But they're in a completely different league from other bands who try a similar style.
Landon King
you seem VERY upset, friend
Henry Cox
try nowena, the last track off of V. It's pure amenra + scott kelly on the vocals for a bit. crushing would be an understatement
Jackson Edwards
your music is gay
Levi Rodriguez
also, they're not trying 'a similar style'. they are playing all of it from their hearts. that's what makes them special. just like neurosis
Aaron Allen
I'm still trying, I haven't given up on V. Also, when I said 'a similar style' I was referring to bands who are trying to copy Amenra and there are a lot.
Cooper Clark
yea, true, but I never listen to those. only ones connected to the church of Ra that I listen to are oathbreaker. all the other ones can suck a big fat impersonating dick
Aaron Sullivan
Cannibal Corpse
James Green
Same. But "post metal" or whichever way you want to call it feels pretty much dead to me now, and the great bands still live on.
