We can all agree QOTSA will never top this, right?

if I've never listened to QOTSA should I start here

YOU CANT EVEN HEAR IT

Yknow I actually didn't like this one when I was getting in QOTSA. I started with Like Clockwork and then SFtD grew on me and is probably one of my top 3 albums of all time.

start with ...like clockwork if you're a zoomer faggot that can't handle loud shit. start with songs for the deaf otherwise.

I'll just put both into my under consideration playlist - thanks

if you want to jump to weird shit after you listen to sftd or like clockwork, their s/t and era vulgaris are their two weirdest albums. most people don't like era vulgaris but i like it quite a bit

Yes.
The closest they've came to it was pic related.

is this bait

imagine actually thinking this

but kalopsia and villains of circumstance are their best songs

Like Clockwork is better but Songs for the Deaf is a close second

I think you're listening to the wrong band if those are your favorites

their best songs are i was a teenage hand model and mosquito song

This, but not as close.

Am I a fool for liking Villians?

That one band from my youth that is actually appreciating in value.

Come back when they make something as eventful as The evil has landed, it's batshit crazy while being a new technical reference point for the band.

villains isn't a bad album or anything, but it's nowhere near as good as songs for the deaf

s/t and rated r are both better.

Sure isn't. But it's still their best to date after it.
People just get mad Josh isn't a edgelord as he used to be 20 years ago.

literally every album that came after sftd except maybeeee lullabies is better than villains

Better in what metric?
Elaborate.

villains has too many weak songs on it (like fortress) and they're all too pop-y.

In which way is Fortress weak or poppy? The song takes the time to build on, starting really slowly and building up for the final crescendo near the end, if anything, closing the "family" section of the album and opening the second half, base lick's fantastic as well, soft and soothing as the rest of the song.
You wanted a song dedicated to his daughter to be hard hitting edgefest? Next you'll tell me Un-Reborn or Head like a Haunted House are bad too. Go back to the dad rock section.

We can all agree Mosquito Song is the best song in the album right?

I think Era Vulgaris is massively underrated. its one of my favorite albums.

rated r is their weirdest album

fortress is too sappy and gay with its lyrics and it sounds uninteresting to me. the best song on the album is easily domesticated animals

>Come back when they make something as eventful as The evil has landed
>as eventful as

First listen to Kyuss in its entire discography

>implying he's not still an edgelord

I think you meant to say "First, listen to the Kyuss discography is its entirety"

The esoteric rhetoric of Blag The Ripper, Dwarves represent

They did on the previous album

The radio transitions are pretty great

Listen to 'I Appear Missing' first, it's their best individual song. If you like that then listen to their other stuff.

but the kyuss singer fucking sucks
kyuss filters me because of that alone desu

SHOCK ME AWAKE

K...R..D...L... The curdle... Live, comin' at ya from Chino Hills!

>didn't like songs for the deaf when getting into QOTSA
cringed.

Era Vulgaris is a very close second best. Hit that after SFTD.

they did tho. in 2013

He doesn't suck, you just have shitty taste.

TEAR ME APART

This. LC>SFTD>>>others

Its the best rock album of the 2000s. It wasnt topped.

Mosquito Song is the best song released this Millennium so far by anyone, prove me wrong

self titled was great, everything else they did is Reddit Rock

Not a single song on the album even comes close to I appear missing off of Like Clockwork

Like Clockwork... is my fav
