Late Registration is better

7 to an 8. Enjoy every track except Blame Game, the only real criticism I have is wtf ever Jay Z was doing, So Appalled could be a verse shorter and the fucking compression, Lost in the World is almost unlistenable to me because of it.

certainly felt the same way listening to this album the first time

8 or a 9. Generally an incredible record with lots of great songs and moments, but a few tracks are a bit too long (So Appalled and Blame Game come to mind), and there are a few other moments that keep it from being a 10. Yeezus, on the other hand, is a perfect record.

Strong 7. The highpoints of it are fantastic, but I found it to ultimately have a good amount of forgettable tracks and I just didn't find it as interesting as most of Kanye's other records (and the Blame Game skit is probably my least favorite moment in his discography, ruining an otherwise great track). I'd put it below TCD, LR, 808s, Yeezus, TLOP and KSG. Runaway is kino though.

Flat 8. So Appalled and Blame Game can be a bit tedious on repeat listens but overall it's fine.
