a new song, wrote this when i decided to live in a hotel in the middle of nowhere for a month. i do everything myself so any feedback is greatly appreciated, happy to return
--Update-- Two songs have been recorded in my hifi setup so far, Dropout Journey and Technicians. My most recent release is a cover of Daniel Johnston’s “Some Things Last a Long Time” recorded back in Early June while I was finishing up Cardboard Girls (a couple months before I started buying my hifi setup), but left off the album because I wanted to keep it to myself for a while. I decided to release it as a tribute to the original artist after he recently passed away (keep in mind that the release of this DOESN'T mean I will continue recording in lofi since I already took the steps to improve to high fidelity). soundcloud.com/bonbos/some-things-last-a-long-time soundcloud.com/bonbos/technicians-2 soundcloud.com/bonbos/dropout-journey-2 >dream pop >psychedelic pop/psychedelic rock >synthpop >lofi (Cardboard Girls & Dust Storm Demos only, hifi setup complete) Listened to Dismay and After Glow. Dismay was the better of the two, that guitar feedback throughout is nice and it uses empty space production very well with the drums and bass. Vocals could probably use some work. I think the ending could be shortened a bit, it feels like it drags on twenty to thirty seconds too long. After Glow bored me and I don't really remember much of it after turning it off. That first song was nice though.
Cant remember if ive given you feedback already but I really dig this track. love the vocals and guitar, they go great together. Things get crazy tho when the drums come in.
Full album now out. If you like please do me a favour and listen on Spotify rather than SC, I really need to get my stats up.
>folk singer-songwriter >Scottish, baritone voice >acoustic guitar, mando, maracas and more >love songs, hate songs, murder ballads, biblical shit
Ah nice, I haven’t heard this one! Sounding absolutely great. I especially like the lead (classical?) guitar that kicks in about the middle, then the “hey hey heys” - it all works together solidly.
Me (You) holy forest (get them puppy) is the best one of the 4 tho it got on abit long could be little more than 2 min and not lose anything. how long have you been making music?
i dont think you have on this one. you definitely did on OKKO.
your vocals really work with the jazzy feel of the music, really likin it
WANT TO WITNESS THE FUTURE? Step into the future world. Where robots and cyborgs live in a techno-political neo-society where you trade cloud storage space as payment. Post-Tribal warfare breaks out between rival gangs in A.I governed Smart-Cities While Cyber-Enhanced super humans feast on human flesh..... With that introduction..... Here's my NEW music video!!! "WobbleBass Romance"
You are literally the most untalented and lifeless person on this website.
You're not funny You've never been funny and never will be Your music is awful Your feedback is awful This takes up so much of your time that you can't even say it's trolling anymore
You have 80 or so years to live on this planet- but you spend it being a fucking retard on Yea Forums.
You could go outside. You could learn to draw. You could make an amateur porno. You could start a shitty YouTube channel. You could literally just play Minecraft for the rest of your life and it would be a better use of your time.
yo dude, give a shout out to any percussion homies in the area looking for live music/wanna get back on tour with me. happy medusa's first percussion moved away :( searching for replacement. got to open for pokey lafarge, guerilla toss, hung out with ghost mice. lots of fun times. use bandcamp contact form if interested, i'm down to skype. i miss making music.
>i had a song with potential >and my brain went to shit when it came to making a drop Do any anons have tips to get around writers block? I pretty much shit out the intro with no problem but the drop always fucks me.
Very low effort dubstep, sounds like you figured out how to automate LFO speed and called it a day. Try adding more elements to your songs, like the drums for example have so much room for improvement. Youre music also sounds like it was made about 9 years too late. Dubstep is really an amateur genre to produce, so hearing how you struggle with it makes me want to suggest you take more time just practicing different song elements on their own, and not just trying to shit out some noise against drums and calling it dubstep. Also the clown shit is cringey and a weird
when are you gonna realize that dubbi is just laughing at you right now because you actually take the b8

thanks man! your album is truly beautiful, and the production is perfect

Opening for '68 in a little over a week! soundcloud.com/b-rad-94 Genre: It's Rock 'n' Roll. but >hard rock >blues rock >punkish >posthardcore-ish >guitar
Nice, reminds me of a less spacey and verbed out Public Memory. In fact, consider using more spacious reverb (but that's just personal preference for me.)
Comfy af, nice full sound on guitars. "Hey" sound effect is out of place though IMO. Other than that, very good.
>Blackgaze >Ambient >Post-rock It's all diverse from track to track, but I doubt anyone would bother listening to the full album. Also, it's midi. I want to know if that's easy to spot. deterritorializer.bandcamp.com/track/and-we-suffocate
t. dubbi/faggi only the idiot himself would post such obvious bullshit >dubbi is just laughing at you right now nice try tho defective loser kys
Joshua Wood
you're being too kind here. its not even dubstep. dubbi has his own stupid music genre for special aspy losers. the faggit aspy himself calls trap metal. its very gay indeed

I'm a new artist. My name is Oakworm. Here's my 2nd track. I named it Bedsheets.
I set up an album preorder while I was still working on an album. Didn't get any preorders, which was a good thing since the album wasn't finished. I set the upload to private and forgot about it for a while. Just got around to finishing up the album and released it a few days ago only to notice that it didn't move up to the top of the new arrivals tag search. Is there any way I can bump it? Or will I have to reupload the entire thing again separate to get it to go on there?
There's always this one user who doesn't even make/post music who shows up only to derail the thread complaining about Dubbi. Go away you reactionary dumbass. You're supposed to be 18 to post here.
Justin Reed
for real I actually have grown to like dubbi and he's one of the posters who give feedback even if most of it is satire. I'm not a special snowflake who gets triggered easily but if I was i'd probably do the same thing that this guy does if dubbi criticized me. I remember when I was 13, it's an emotional time and you can't blame the guy for lashing out.
Austin Hughes
Aye Dubbi’s alright. Gives a bit of personality to the threads. Also it’s quite amusing how much he hates my folkie stuff.
It is meant to work as a whole, so it's better listening to the full album
>little pop concept/opera >psychedelic inspired >peculiar female vocals >experimental and a bit weird >lots of woodwinds and mellotron sounds >old style inspired production >independent
I have a feeling dubbi really likes folk and all the things he pretends to criticize. I highly doubt he genuinely likes dubstep and "trap metal" seems like he sees what's the trendiest bubblegum genre at the time and starts makinga variation of that.
