Dog Man Star is the best pre-break-up Suede album by a stretch, make sure to listen to the singles too because like Pulp a lot of their best songs are their b-sides.
Best album since their reunion is probably The Blue Hour. Also check out the Dog Man Star 20th anniversary live album from a couple of years back where they played the whole album plus its b-sides and a few greatest hits at the Royal Albert Hall, with strings.

I like that Brett Anderson doubled down on the creepy gothic elements of his image has he got older and had kids instead of mellowing out like Albarn and some others. For example their 2016 album Night Thoughts is a concept album about being kept awake at 4 AM by existential terror and being worried you'll lose your kids to some freak accident you're powerless to prevent etc.
