The riff after the solo on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath spawned the entire stoner metal genre

Wtf this is amazing, that little disco outro sent me to the stratosphere

More covers

Black Sabbath were like a second-rate blues rock band with heavy distortion on detuned guitars

you should listen to the whole album. the cardigans are great and it's a shame they're usually only associated with that Lovefool song.

Already started m8. I have a soft spot for this cutesy pop stuff.

he plays some mean blues on the roxy performances

what makes it heavy metal?? how about tony iommi's riffs, ya dumb bitch.

war pigs - heavy porg
paranoid - mainstream 70s rock
planet caravan - psych jazz rock
iron man - more mainstream 70s rock
electric funeral - jazz rock
hand of doom - jazz rock
rat salad - jazz rock
fairies wear boots - heavy prog

damn, it's not that far off from being a jazz fusion album

are the cardigans still together or tour ?

I mean the band was originally gonna be a blues rock band, but they played with their sounds and ended up being metal.

Please explain your criteria for calling something "jazz"

It ain't jazz, it's just jazz/blues inspired, like a lot of rock

This. The Mule fucking rocks hard- Originally a power trio this album is bad ass.

mostly the drumming and the chord progressions

this is awesome. I love Thorazine Shuffle what a great song

cream, hendrix, most 60s acid rock

This is a live show with incredible quality. This whole set jams.

I forgot about that band, bought one of their records for cheap because it looked cool. They're alright.

I love Govt Mule- they play so much different stuff- cover everything from Sabbath to Billy Cobham to Prince...Warren Haynes is a great guitarist.

i dont think he is looking for satire.

It’s just psychedelic blues rock à la Cream with detuned guitars

Came to post the same song.
