CLEAN YOUR ROOOOOOOM

Don’t listen to music while reading. You won’t be able to concentrate properly.

this is good advice, i love music but while you're reading? that's distracting

This

But if you mean what would I listen to if I was in the middle of killing my landlady..... then this

id rather read discipline and punish than that piece of shit

I like Dostoyevsky, but foucaultpilled. I had to write a 13 page paper on D&P, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Death Grips

I can only read to harsh noise wall

Is it that boring that you need music to be entertained while reading?

not OP but it's a focus thing for me

What's the name?

This

Or Russian orthodox chants

drone or ambient might be ok, but anything more attention grabbing than that would be a mistake

I could never listen to music while reading, that seems insane

The band is Thou, song is 'The fool who thought he was king' it's sludge so if you're not into that then don't bother

Also this was meant for you

It's quite the opposite for me, I find it much easier to focus on the text with some loud and abrasive music going on, otherwise my mind starts wandering around due to all the other little noises.

I use link related whenever i'm reading.

its just some dumb overrated meme book

RA RA RASPUTIN

Isn't sludge an off-branch of doom metal?

What a way to say that sludge is the post-punk southern revival of both doom-punk influences. But I mean basically sort of, they're different because of how they came about, but they share stylistic influence (i.e. heavy bass). Saying it's an off branch would be like calling black metal death metal.

Yeah i would agree with this but if you really had to listen to something i don't know anything else that better fits crime and punishment's aesthetic than divine music from a jail
