Why do indie Fans deny that their favorite bands sell out when they go pop?
First Tame Impala and Then Arctic Monkeys , all sold out and started doing popshit yet Indieheads defend them
Why do indie Fans deny that their favorite bands sell out when they go pop?
Tame Impala's popshit is still good, anyway
Arctic Monkeys did a 180 on their new album though
And still sound like shit
The only song Alex Turner sings that is good is a QOTSA song, and fortunately Josh Homme, Mark Lanegan and Nick Oliveri sing above him
I don't mind if they sell out just don't use the same name. That's the real jew.
No
fuck off faggot AM are the goat indie band
artists should evolve and change their styles, and they should only make the music they want to make. you can't deny that sometimes people want to make more poppy and clean songs. especially someone so obsessed with production like Kevin Parker is. I do agree that the artic monkeys is more sell-out-ish though
>Are the most dignified and respectable “indie” band in your paths selling in
Post
:O
Guess you can just say that Tame Impala wasn't daring ;^)
Because “indieheads” are full poptimist now. If hipsters back then saw what the scene has become 25 years ago they would have lost their shit.
Currents is his best album
Aren’t you supposed to be getting ready for school little zoomer?
I’m 22 bro
Must be hard living with retardation.
i mean arctic monkeys debut was literally a pop album and so was the followup. is AM supposed to be their "sellout" album? wew
I find ways to cope
Dude
Most of these bands were already pop it’s just more obvious now. If you listen to indie past the age of like 17 you’re a pleb and always will be
Your dads look chill, joefilly they didn’t abuse you too hard
Last Shadow Puppets is better than Artic Monkeys anyways
It isn't even more poppy than his first albums, it's just worse
