3 listens in and I'm already confident in saying that this will be my Hip Hop album of the year. It's not traditional rap, so it obviously won't have the best bars but from a sonic perspective this is the most exciting sound pallet I've heard on an album in years.

I just don't get glitch at all. Not the new Thom yorke, not Peggy, not cosmogramma, not aphex twins ep last year, not autechre.
Soooo, due to my distaste for a while genre, I can't say I like this album. I don't feel that's from anything JPEGMAFIA specific.

I think it's great. I think it has the potential to go down as one of my 3 favorite hip hop releases of the decade.

I don't think it's perfect but I just find it to be a very exciting record and I put a lot of stock into that, especially in this genre.

People will hate and say this and say that.. but if we're all being honest, hip hop records that are this sonically explorative and creative.. don't drop very often. Not ones that are executed this well anyways. Feels like a breath of fresh air from the typical verse chorus verse chorus structure.
