The Cure would be true if they stopped before their last two. Last album was especially bad, self-titled is maybe OK if you secretly wished they were a nu-metal band. The one after Wish is kind of bad too but if that was their worst I could accept it.

I like every Cure album to one extent or another but honestly, my least favorite of theirs is Head on the Door. That album never did much for me aside from a couple songs.

Pablo's an okay rock record in its own right with some decent tunes like You, Creep and Blow Out. HTTT is a fantastic career retrospective with some grossly underrated highs (There There? 2+2=5? Wolf on the Door?). TKOL might be the sound of a band not really knowing exactly where to go next, but even then songs like Bloom, Lotus Flower and Separator are tried and true Radiohead.
